Had a good time with group today. We went to Westmount Mall. While it is true that the mall doesn't have much of interest, it does have a subway kiosk, which I like and it does have a dollarstore, which I like.
I could have looked in a store called Revolver, which sells CDs, DVDs, and video games, but I felt like I could look in there another time when I am with my dad. This way if I see a movie thats on for a good price, maybe I will get it.
What was really fun about today was the bus route to Northgate transit center from Westmount transit center. I took a new route called the 121. It mainly zigzags through an industrial area, but it went passed a few stores that brought back some memories.
One store it passed was a Cheemo Perogy factory, which my dad had recently got some cheemo perogies, the bite sized ones and he says they are pretty good. Too bad I don't use this stove at home, otherwise I would totally get some.
The reason I don't use the stove is because I haven't used it in a very long time and it would set off the smoke detector due to the proximity and the amount of residue that would burn off. I don't want to be startled out of my wits, by the sound, so I choose not to use the stove. Same thing with the oven.
I do have a frying pan I could use, but right now, I am just too chicken to use it alone. Maybe if I had someone over watching me, then I'd likely cook some pork chops. Once I use it for the first time with supervision, then I will be able to determine whether I will cook with it again or not.
