Eventually Roland took a seat and without a word accepted Jordan's aid. The other hunter seemed to grow more and more agitated as he worked, and when he was finally done and sitting for Shu he seemed as bitter as could be.
The look on Roland's face was slightly hurt, he wasn't sure what they had done to sour the other hunters mood, and in his case he wasn't hostile at all, he'd avoided being infected, but he didn't know anything about the signs of an infection growing in his small team.
Standing up he walked over to the two hunters, "Ace is still out of it mostly, but we're all good yeah? If you want we can go out as a team again. If you're up for it?" He paused a bit worry in his voice, both of his friends seemed terribly distant.Roland Stats: HP: 60/60 Buff: Intermediate Moon HP Cap +10 and auto +2 Defense Rolls Charges 0/3 Weapon: Nimble Scythe - Double damage to speed types Gear: 1 Flash Light ENEMY None atm

Rep hadn't expected anyone to trust his word, hell he wouldn't trust his own word, a known flake and liar who couldn't ever decide between one truth and another and instead kept both as perfectly valid in his mind. Whenever someone had faith in him, it was a heavy burden on his shoulders, he let himself down every ******** day, it was hard not to let others down. That was probably why he'd left Sun, there was only so many times he could see Allan's hopes dashed for overestimating someone like him. Yet here he was, and he was going to do what he could to see that kid made it out.
"You have my word." he said again, nodding weakly. "For what it's worth."
However, when Robert spoke again, Rep's whole demeanour changed, it was what he always feared with the other man, that he'd look down on him, see him as small and weak, incapable of the task he'd been handed. He'd been honest with Mimsy because he owed her the same honesty she gave him, but he resented that same earnestness being witnessed by Robert who he assumed had chalked it up to incompetence, that he wasn't worthy of the hand he'd been dealt. Rep's shoulders went back, his expression turning cold and distant, behind that cocky smirk again.
"I'm just ******** fine." he said, low and dangerous. "And if I ******** knew how I got immune I'd have told other people how to get it wouldn't I? Unless you think I'm so shitty I wouldn't. I can't hand it over, I don't understand it and I didn't think giving myself up for Life ******** vivisection and death as one of the options happened to be was a good ******** idea." He looked like a wild animal which had tolerated the pets from its handler but which was now looking at everyone else like they were dinner, if Mimsy hadn't been present, he told himself, he'd be less tolerant.
"As for who assigned me my orders, that is none of your business, I don't go asking Life's business and expect the same courtesy on matters of classified business like this. I don't need help, I have handled it thus far, I've handled it before, I'll handle it again."
He was rankled and insulted by the implication he was weak. "Give her the antidote please Mimsy, then make whatever decisions you both have to make. I have to go make another announcement, bring her to me afterwards or, if you think I'm not capable of handling this, leave and take your chances out there with whatever comes." And without another word, he turned and headed back to the surveillance room.
On the way there, he could see another group of hunters not too far off, also carrying something, and he knew he was going to need his strength, the situation was growing progressively more crowded and volatile and he was getting anxious.

Nellie smiled at Felicia's efforts, seemingly oblivious to the other huntress' beaming while checking Isaac out at the same time. "Thank you. If there's enough bandages to go around, Nellie will try to help too." She decided to offer sheepishly just in the off chance that there was more where all that came from. It certainly beat running around in the dark and trying to locate the medical supplies that was somewhere around base camp.
"Nellie thinks it's probably better to stay put for now to rest and recuperate. Once everyone's feeling up to it, could then venture out or help around depending on the situation." If there was anything that her very first mission taught her, it was that circumstances could change anytime out on the field and it was probably better not to plan too far out lest something happened to throw them off subsequently. With her decision made, she reached for a small bottle of water that was attached to a belt around her waist, offering it to the Sun hunter.
"Nellie's got some water to go around though. Staying hydrated is very important in order to keep going."

While waiting for Isaac to grab the bottle of water that she was offering him, Nellie used her other hand to reach for another one for herself, not even realising that she was that thirsty until the entire bottle of water was gone within a matter of seconds.

Tossing the empty bottle aside, Nellie was about to grab another bottle for herself when she suddenly remembered the other girl who had come over to help bandage Isaac up. Felicia didn't know either of them prior. Yet she didn't let that stop her from offering her help. The least Nellie could do in return was to offer her some of the water she brought with her.
Holding out the bottle of water to the other huntress, she smiled. "Would... like some too?"

Hope had felt more than a little bad about leaving Byron to his own devices, but she was sure he could make his way. Maybe he'd even find a nice white coat to cling to. She couldn't fault him for wanting to make his way towards a sort of promised safety. And maybe she should've tried to go there, too - she was already doubting herself. It was one of her flaws, a constant stream of aggressively decisive actions followed by crippling self-doubt. She was never going to make it as a doctor unless she defeated that part of herself, Hope thought. She wanted to be likea prince and ride in and save people and no prince ever let people see their second guesses.Or their third or fourth or more....She shook her head and ducked into one of the two drugstores. This one she knew like the back of her hand - first aid kits here, sewing kits there. She gather a few and hastily stuffed them in her bag along with a pack of medical masks. After a moment, she pulled out a mask for herself, hooking the bands carefully around her ears.If this pathogen was airborne, it was likely too late for her, but this would stop any unwanted infection-ridden fluid from getting in her mouth. Hope leaned against a shelf. What was she doing - how could she be of any help? Useless, useless, she was sure. She pinched herself harshly in the bend of her elbow. There was no time for that sort of thinking. Hope moved slowly towards the front of the door, picking up her feet carefully. Suddenly, she slid, the soles of her tennis shoes skidding forward on some piece of cloth left soaking in the floor. "s**t!" She grabbed onto a shelf as she smacked into it and immediately froze. s**t, s**t, s**t. What if something had heard her? Her heart popped up into her throat as she peered, wide-eyed into the dim mall. Quote: Hope HP: 15 dice 2d4-6 Description: an overly stressed med student

Somewhere between the lights going out and Felicia dispatching that wretchedly fast zombie, Joy found herself separated. She wasn't sure how she managed such a feat, but it was dark, and she still didn't have a flashlight. And then the sprinklers turned on and she was now drenched and chilled to the bone.
Joy decided that when she found Felicia, she'll apologize for being shitty moon and failing to have a fellow hunter's back. In the mean time, her weapon was strongly suggesting she get to the ******** camp.
However, in the distant darkness there were noises. Suspicious noises. Her heart hammered in her chest from a mixture of terror and excitement. Brown eyes narrowed, not that it made any difference, as she readied herself for another surprise attack.
When none came, Joy's first instinct was to bring the fight to them. Elementary of surprise, she reasoned and made her way towards the source of the noise: a drugstore.

Harrison had observed the proceedings with some skepticism. He knew there was a lot of respect between Mimsy and Rep, on a bond he could only guessed was based on a mutual enjoyment of blood lubricant, but...
"Uh, I just want to clarify the situation, here," Harrison said. He wouldn't have said anything normally, only he felt that since the pair was...on the learning disabled side, they might have been...taken advantage of. "You're gonna give up Robert's personal antidote. Like, if he gets infected, he's ********. His antidote. To cure somebody else's ******** trophy that you found...maybe five minutes ago."
He seemed to consider something, then offered,
"Sorry about the language, kid."

Leslie rolled his eyes but didn't blame her for chugging a few shots. Abject disgust covered his face when Maebe kissed his head, scrubbing her gloss or whatever it was girls wore off of his skin.
"Whatever," he muttered, and took a shot for himself before tucking the flask away and heading towards the rink.

ANNOUNCEMENT
The cheery song interrupted the faint laughter of the giggling infected and Rep spoke up, this time seeming to swing between his normal self and the perky positive. "Short announcement today. If you could all like, refrain from killing one another, that'd be great, though I can't tell if Sasha going completely mental and attacking Maebe was just Sasha being ******** Sasha or if she's infected. Al, you are a giant ******** retard for going out there on your own and you put other lives at risk to rescue you. We've gotten some civilians out! We can get some more! Keep going everyone and don't forget to fortify!"

Something was coming. Inside Hope's head, she let out a litany of curses that might make a sailor blush. Hope tensed, listening carefully to the steps. They didn't shuffle or skitter or groan ominously. Well, she thought with a grimace, she was caught either way, so she might as well make noise and hurry the end. As Hope opened her mouth, the annoucement came on and she let out an unseemly squeak of surprise. She listened to it, cataloguing bits and pieces of information away like a squirrel with nuts. When it ended, she breathed out a silent sigh and refocused her attention on the movement. "Who's there? Show yourself!" Her voice was sharp with high-strung unease. With a sigh, Horace snagged another rune. The sooner he was healed, the sooner he could head back out. This was probably good enough.

He looked around at the other hunters again, they seemed mostly alright, he guessed. Horace grimaced at Rep's annoucement - his voice was creepy, like uncanny valley creepy. And he was entirely unsurprised that Al had gone out alone. Horace bounced up off of the cot with another glance at Jordan and his team. "Tommy," he called out and grabbed the mist trainee by the wrist. "BEtter get your shield to 100%." He wasn't sure how much good his heal had done. "You totally were not." Cleaning up the ichor was a job all by itself, and as they'd discovered previously, the stuff smelled bad, too. But there was no helping that. Probably everybody was going to smell awful before this was over. Noah looked startled as the LED light was switched on, then grinned, a little shyly. "It's great," he said. "I like it. You brought a buttload back, I bet people will be happy." Al's HP: 6 +9 =15
