Peyton and America were right there along with them, and while Harrison appreciated the teamwork, he couldn't help ribbing as Rep cut another large swathe through the mass.
"Hey, Peyton. You know these are like, people right. Like with hopes and dreams and families and s**t."
As far as Harrison was concerned, this also applied to Halloween, but people got extra mopey when it was their species instead of the species of their partner.

With the lights back on, Cee straightened and lost her vice-grip on both Milo and Noemi. Of course Milo pulled some brave move and shoved her behind him but she bumped straight into Nora's front. "Fancy meetin you here.." She smirked up at the taller woman, a hand grabbing the woman's thight behind her playfully. It was less forward and more reassuring. Yes they were all in one piece and thankfully, no one in their current group was bitten. Cee's attention had been breifly caught by the sight of Rep and Jordan going to town with their massive weapons. She was impressed. Unfortunately spectating wasn't an option when their fellow hunters were slathering at the mouths like wild beasts. "Finn.." The petite woman summoned her whips. "I wanna beat you so bad..." But a couple people had jumped in the way and she hadn't gotten a hit in. seussi no dmg but she will git you i swear

WHOOSH!She bent down as she heard a sound like a pendulum blade she saw in some movies and winced promptly at the infected got hit and flew like a star or knocked down like domino. Rep's weapon hit like a hurricane and she suppressed the desire to give him a loud clap. It wasn't the time - some of the infected raised again, going for them.
Releasing the ball, the other end sharp like spear head was revealed. The petite girl wielded the hammer, hitting one or two while the flying ball knocked down three, four, five, six and seven.
Seeing Rep's example and Z's encouragement gave her a push, she finally looked like a hunter.

Rep laughed out loud at Harrison's comment, and it wasn't a friendly sound. He was right of course - the people they were decimating were no doubt people that they'd passed many many times in the hallways and on the training fields. They might have even saved their lives once in a while without ever even knowing. This was not moral, not by a hundred miles but was easy for Rep to ignore this - morality for him was negotiable - as long as he wasn't up against harming Harrison, everything else was irrelevant, all that mattered to him in the moment was executing his orders. If he happened to enjoy the crunch of bone and the thunk of steel in flesh while doing it, so much the better. He didn't care if there were other possibilities to save these ********, he just wanted them all dead.
<> Tracey hissed, breathless, but Rep already knew, he could feel it in his blood, in the crackling wild tension that ran circuits like electricity through his nerves. They were starved so often lately, perpetually denied charges from spars and friendly attacks and constantly headed off at the pass, that the redhead had almost forgotten how good it felt. It was like a drug, it seized him and devoured his full attention and made him fight with even more ferocity. He didn't need a virus to be aggressive, it came naturally.
It was cramped in the room and there was no room to jump the way he wanted to, but he knew without a doubt that he couldn't restrain the fear, he couldn't help himself. Holding it back even for a few seconds was like trying to grasp fire in his fingers, it was like trying to consciously hold his breath, it was ******** impossible. It demanded release and he was - wether he liked it or not - its servant.
He couldn't jump, there was no room to use Problems. It was ******** impossible in such a confined space, there was no airtime, no gravity. All that remained was desperation, the air crushed out of his lungs as he let Tracey take the fear he never normally used and run with it.
<yesssss>> the fallen angel exhaled.
The runes sparked as The Cost took hold and the axe's blade rapidly turned blacker, blacker than normal, blacker than should have been possible, and all across the floor, shadows twisted and pooled together, bleeding into one another until they formed the silhouette of wings, of a lithe humanoid form with hair that swayed and moved on its own and handfuls of long, very long lethal talons.
And then it struck, reaching out of the very shadows to rend and tear, to sink those claws into whatever exposed flesh they could find, twisting, flickering, moving through the hoards of zombies and drawing upon all that Rep was to sustain itself and prolong the assault.
It was only when he could take no more, when the fear was spent and even his own lifeforce was taxed to its limit, his shield ticking away that in a flash it halted, the axe returned to normal, and breathless, feeling as though he had almost drowned in the intoxicating sensation of power, he dropped to one knee, panting as he tried to regain his composure.

Harrison winced at the sudden dark gathering of sucking fear.
It took something out of Rep whenever he did it. And it wasn't like the jump, where Harrison could catch him. Hell, Rep could near weather that s**t himself now, as many times as he'd grown accustomed to the impact.
The dark, though...and he wasn't even sure it was all Tracey. The attack hadn't even shown up until after Rep had gotten that dagger. Rep hadn't been able to use a heal since.
There were still a few hunters milling around, trying to bite folks.
Harrison pulled Rep over anyway, pushing up his sleeve and clearing a spot, before shaking out his tin of bandages.
"Here," he said gently, wrapping it over Rep's arm. The warm flow of extra fear and power tingled through his veins.

Rep let Tracey drop to the floor, the zombies around them temporarily backed off enough to give them space. He leaned against the other man, physically cold to the touch. Every single time he'd used that fear he had regretted it immensely and this time was no exception. He felt drained, the fight he'd had moments beforehand sapped clean out of him in the moment.
A least Tracey sounded satisfied.
The bandaid was a lifesaver, restoring warmth to his body and pushing back the cold chill that had taken up residence in his chest. It let him breathe again and stand on his own.
"Ta." he said, and added almost apologetically. "I couldn't stop it."

With America defending her the Sun hardly picked up a scratch to her shield. They kept pushing back, cutting down the advancing adversaries, until eventually the numbers thinned. Shoulder to shoulder with her Moon, they acted as a shield between the infected and men they cared about. "Glad you're with me," she aimed at the red head, flashing half a smile as she brushed America's hand with her own. Harrison's comment pulled her attentions, and she took one look at Rep swinging Tracy through the infected hunters and rolled her eyes. "Your hypocrisy never ceases to amaze." The Sun didn't see a damn thing wrong with doing everything she could to keep those of them as of yet uninflected safe. Especially considering they had yet to told whether or not there was even a cure. Ignoring the both of them she turned her attention to Noah and Kon. "You okay?" Boss hp: deadski

Chel looked at Jack and the others, unsure of what to do. It seemed like everyone else was knocking the zombies out so a cure could be administered.
But she really didn't want to knock out Finn.
"Er ... one of you do it," she said.

The light came back on, and the dead were gone. Ami looked up at Dakota. "Finally stopped talking to your invisible friend, then?" she chided.
She could see the door, but it was on the opposite side of the room than where she thought it was. A wordless gesture prompted Dakota that she was going over there.

Molly didn't go away, but in the mass chaos that ensued, she wasn't much use. She was completely out of it, and as the black out happened she could do nothing but stick to the nearest wall and just stayed leaned against it. Her heart had been thundering in her chest, and as much as she wanted to reach out to Dakota, her hands did not dare leave the firm reassurance of the wall behind her. So she stayed against the wall the entire time, her eyes clenched shut despite being in the dark. When the lights came back on, she still stayed against the wall, her eyes wide in bug eyed horror as Hunters were taking down other hunters who were clearly not in their right minds. She didn't know what to do. She was frozen, and thus she continued to stay against the wall, her knees shaking. Shadows came arrowing through the room, vicious and hungry and familiar, and left nothing standing behind them. Jordan turned to look for Rep, found Harrison tending to him, and felt a sharp stab of grief all tangled up in pride and a gentle happiness, and thought of course, and turned away again. Ferros twined through his thoughts, sharing his emotions, and the swell of complicated feelings roiled with the agitation of the weapon's charge, almost unbearable.
Go ahead, Jordan said.
Ferros exhaled a cloud of steam, but something went sour inside them as he released it. It trickled away without doing any good, and Ferros returned to ring form with a faintly apologetic sigh.

INFECTED - HP: 17/20The infection had sunk its claws in deep. There was no talking to Zascha. No reasoning. All he felt was the need. The need to feed. And all his attention was focused on that. Focused on Nellie and her delicious looking skin. He merely grunted as she tried to trip him up. Catching himself with a hand before he would hit the floor, his elbow almost buckling under the weight as he had used his injured arm. Instantly springing back up he attacked her again. Large hands clawing for her throat. DMG: 4
