Illiana's face lit up and she bounced a little, squeezing the stuffed animal to her. "Papa! Puppy Papa!" She giggled and kissed the stuffed dog happily. She then stood unsteadily. She wavered but caught hold of the side. She glanced up and stared at her dad a moment. "papa!"

Jay just clapped and grinned, saying "Way to go illiana! You're standing" He said as she gently took her small hands in his and held her up, saying "I've got you"

Illiana pouted breifly but then yawned. "Bye Papa...." She curled up on the floor of her playpen and wrapped her arms around the stuffed dog. Her eyes then closed and soon she began to snore lightly.

"Bye little one" He said as he let go of her hands and lay her down on the playpen. He walked back outside the room and closed the door gently as he then discharged all of his mana by emptying it into the castle,turning the other doppleganger Jay back into the real Jay.

Illiana gave a yawn as her eyes blinked open. She stared around her in confusion for a moment. Then the blurry images were recognized. She crawled to her knees and sat back, trying to figure out where everything was. In her grip, she tightly held her puppy. She wanted a real puppy though. Illiana squeezed her eyes tightly and suddenly a copy appeared. She gasped and grinned. The other Illiana grinned too. The copy put her finger to her lips and clumcily opened the Playpen. It was a wooden one so the latch was easy to reach from the outside. As the gate swung open, the second Illiana vanished. The real Illiana yawned but crawled out. She could stand but she could move alot more easily on her knees. This time she wasn't going to be caught. Maybe there was a puppy downstairs. She peeked out the door and then grinned as she saw no one. She immediately set off to the stairs. She reached them without anyone knowing and began to descend them by going down backwards. At the bottome of the stepps, Illiana turned and forwned, her nose pulled up as though she smelled something bad. "Puppy!" Her voice was soft. Just in case.

Jay walked out of the bedroom, having felt a brief surge in energy in Illiana's room. When he reached there, all he saw was the discarded puppy and the hatch of the pen down. He closed Illiana's bedroom door and decided to go downstairs to find her, since she had a fascination with going into the living room for some reason. He heard the soft sound of her voice and grinned as he stayed a fair distance away, far enough for her not to notice him.

Illiana scrunched her nose. She crawled toward the faireplace and peeked up it. "Puppy!" She jumped as her voice echoed. She pulled back and shook her head. She then went to the coffe table and peeked under it. "Puppy..." SHe pouted unhappily. "Puppy..." She sniffed and then looked toward the window. An idea came to her and she grinned. She then made a move toward the front door. There were always puppys outside.

Jay would continue to follow. The front door, however, was fairly large and difficult to open for a child. He just watched and followed her back out in towards the main door and decided to watch with mild interest to see what she wanted to do first.

Illiana scowled up at the door. It was big. She got up on her feet and tried to reach for the handle that Her mama and papa always touched. She was too short. Illiana scowled deeper and pushed on the door. It didn't budge. She pounded on the door and finally said a word she had occasionally heard by others. "Stupid!"

"Hey you. None of that language here" He said in a stern tone as he swept his arms under her and lifted her up, saying "No puppies here. You shouldn't run off like that. You could be hurt!" He said as he then carried her up to her room. "Your getting a time out"

Illiana instantly cried out as she heard her father's voice. She had attempted to escape but he had swept her up before she could do so. Illiana began to pout and crossed her arms, sniffing loudly. "Puppy!" Her yell echoed as her hands fisted.
She refused to look up as they headed up to her room. Once in, Illiana began to throw a fit. She began to kick and scream with all she had. She didn't want a time out that was for certain. "No no no no no no no no no no!!!!!"

"You can scream all you want, but your not leaving this playpen for...15 minutes!" He said as he set her down and firmly padlocked the playpen so she couldn't escape. He sat himself in a chair and watched her, knowing the soundproof walls wouldn't wake pale.

Still irked by everything, Pale went to check up on Illiana. It looked like now she had settled down from the screaming she was going through earlier. Almost peaceful, but Pale wouldn't go so far as to say that yet. "When are we going to fix your eyes?" softly she put her hand on Illiana's forehead.

Illiana yawned as she opened her eyes blearily. She squinted and then grinned, squealing. "Mama!" She wrapped her hands around her mother's wrist and giggled in excitement.
