[[lol I think it’s just cuz these posts have been requiring a lot of back and forth, as mine are also pretty short]]

Mother removed me from my place in society both in hopes that you could train me and to provide you with a replacement companion while Ymir is away,” she said, fidgeting some as she spoke,” also, I’m telling the truth... Mother showed me a video of him running away... and-“
“Where are they taking Ymir,” Carpo interrupted, seeming actually concerned at the prospect of the wolf leaving.
“Preparing him for the front lines. Mother has heard whispers that a nearby country is planning on declaring war, so they are moving him to the border.”

kawaiihogoshatenshi So Sorry this took so long to reply to sad I started a new job and school has started back up
Watching the girl explain herself didn't make Pan any less cautious, but she did give them shocking news. Pan gasped in shock, afraid for his friend's life but he knew now that he really couldn't leave Carpo. But now he knew what the mix up was.
"The flash drive..." he muttered to himself, glancing away from both of them for only a brief moment. And then looked back down at Carpo, pacing and taking a few steps away from Carpo's table. Carpo was going being punished for that? But then... There's a video of him running away? But... surely Mother was capable of faking film, right? Why would she go through all that trouble. Maybe, he had questions to ask later, but now...
"War?... But... why haven't they taken all of us?" He asked, almost sounding as it he was slightly disappointed that he wasn't chosen to go. Though, that wasn't the case, Pan was just being curious. " Why would we be going to war?"

She then nodded in response to who knows what and parted her lips. “We have been the target of a bordering countries ire for awhile... They disagree with our practices, but have not been able to find a good enough reason to attack us,” she recited in an uncertain voice, as if she was only partially sure of the truth behind her words,” rebels escaped our borders recently and its thought that they may have told them about you Pan and, by extension, about all of us. That’s all they needed to hear to have a good enough reason.” “That and the flash drive,” Carpo said with a frown, just for the woman to shake her head. “I’m afraid I haven’t a clue what you are referring to Carpo, but it doesn’t matter. The point is they want to destroy us and our nation... We aren’t all ready yet though... I’m only the second to be awakened, after you Pan, and they are still working on figuring out how to wake the others from their constructed realities. They don’t want to accidentally trigger them like they did with you,” she said softly as she fidgeted with her hands,” Ymir is being sent to the border as he was the only one of us who was never giving a constructed normal reality, so he’s the best prepared. You are to stay behind because you are the only one of us to have trained with him and, thus, are the second best trainer they have at the moment being...”

Pan frowned. "No... he's telling the truth...." Pan confessed. His fears now was that no matter where he went today, Carpo might not survive, either from his injuries, or Mother going back on her promise of protecting him. But... even so, Pan felt urged and needed here. He couldn't just leave. But thinking about it more, Pan wondered that if he came out to tell his side of the story, would it matter? Having to choose between the home he's always known and his lover was torture, and thinking that only made it seem like this whole scenario was created to test him, not Carpo.
"Phoebe... can you...wait outside the room for just a moment? I'll be ready to join you shortly and we can start your training then..." Pan asked politely, speaking clearly despite him facing away from both of them. The albino was scanning the room, looking for anything useful to help Carpo with his pain. The needle that was prepared prior to Pan entering the room had probably fallen to the floor or he dropped it back on the medic tray. Pan was suspicious of its contents now and he just needed to find something else that would ease on Carpo's pain.

Phoebe looked confused, but left with a nod. Upon her exit, Carpo relaxed some. He was still pretty tense though, both out of pain and fear. “Pan.... we have to leave... You know that right,” the redhead whispered as he turned away from the camera,” all three of us... we have to go. Ymir will die out there on his own and they beat me to an inch of my life... They are pretending that they care, but they are just using us, like they always have..... I can’t... we can’t do this anymore... please.” As he spoke, he shook a bit. The fear was clear in his eyes. “They stuck things in me again Pan... please I can’t.... I don’t,” he said, his voice starting to get loud enough for the camera to pick up as he went on, obviously growing more hysterical with every second that Pan didn’t confirm that they could leave. If what Phoebe said was true, that needle probably would’ve really helped calm him down him down. But there was no way to prove it without sticking Carpo with it and it was quite possible that the needle wasn’t even sterile enough to be used anymore. There were plenty of pills in nearby cabinets though. They weren’t strong, but would certainly be better than nothing. They were things he would recognize, painkillers and sedatives. Despite his whole career being a facade, he still would easily be able to remember what pills could be mixed with what.

"But... Carpo... how? Where would we even go? I-" Pan stopped. Though he was whispering, he had a feeling that they could probably be heard. He walked over to a cabinet and grabbed the bottle of painkillers that he knew would be strong enough to ease the pain. But he knew one pill would easily knock out Carpo, where as half would be enough to numb the pain. He'd just have to hope Carpo wouldn't have any reactions to it.
Along side the pills in the cabinet were also some small paper cups. Pan took the bottle, broke the pill, and grabbed a paper cup. He walked to the sink in the corner of the room and filled it up with water and returned to his husband with the painkillers.
"Here, only take half right now. A full pill will probably cause you to lose consciousness... " he handed to him gently, ready to help his husband drink should he needs it.

"The how is easy... You and Ymir are the strongest people here and I can hack us through anything you two can’t break... As for where.. A-anywhere is better than here....,” he said, still shaking considerably as he spoke. “ Heck, now that my heart is better, we could live in the wilderness for all I care.” His breathing steadied some as his brain thought it all through, but he was still full of nerves. He wasn’t sure if Pan would actually listen to what he said or if he’d just ignore him. Both frightened him as this moment as both seemed equally dangerous. As Pan handed him the items, he could clearly see that Carpo was still sorting things out, which, in combination with the pain, explained why he proceeded to spill half of the water on himself. He jumped for a moment, out of surprise, before just dry swallowing half of the pill unflinchingly. “I mean.... they are going to kill me if I stay here... heck they will kill all of us eventually... You do believe me... right?”

His genuine concern for Ymir was almost astonishing. It did warm Pan's chest at the idea of the two of them getting along. But thinking like this in the facility where Mother could see all and know all was nerve wracking. Pan had thought he worked hard to get them comfortable here but if Carpo really was attacked, then his safety came first for Pan... despite all of his instincts telling him to ride this out and let Carpo heal, he just found that he could not deny Carpo anything... "I-... I do... believe you..."
"Okay..." he frowned, taking a few nearby tissues and gently pat drying Carpo's chest as the water spilled. With the bandages wet, Pan delicately dried them. If he wanted to avoid an infection, he knew he'd have to change them.
"But... you need to heal Carpo... I can try to go find Ymir right now, but what if they try something while I'm away... At least let me put you back in my room where you can lock the doors..." he pleaded, leaving now would be suicide for Carpo and with this new girl waiting outside, there was little chance to leave without her noticing... unless she would want to escape too... but Carpo probably wouldn't go for that.

“N-No don’t bother. If you carry me away, it’ll look suspicious. Besides. they can easily get past the locks if they want to... I’ll just... I’ll be fine,” he said, seeming relieved enough by the fact Pan believed him,” it’ll only be for a little bit and if you get worried, well, you could always just bring Ymir here.” Carpos hands steadied slowly as he spoke and slowly the panic seemed to leave his voice. The meds hadn’t kicked in just yet, but the fact that they would be leaving made the pain he felt seem less scary. Sure, they’d have to live rough and might be pursued, but they’d be together and far, far away from here. Here. Where they played games with their heads and experimented on their bodies.... Scratching mindlessly at one of the locations where they had stuck him with a needle, the redhead began to slowly smile once more. “I’ll be fine. Promise.”

Reluctantly agreeing with his lover again, Pan was already getting a sinking feeling deep down in his gut. Nothing about this was going to simple. He leaned down to give a light peck on the red head's forehead and turned to head out of the hospital ward.
The doors slid open as he approached and closed behind when he stepped out, facing Phoebe, only to look down to the floor.
"Come on, I'll show you around. Starting with Ymir... you should know where he stays too. " he spoke blankly as he started to walk ahead of her. "... Not like he'll be there for long now..." he frowned as he spoke out loud to himself.
Leading her down the halls, along the way he pointed out few of the other subjects stalls and rooms, and let her know that though they could be just as dangerous as herself and the two white haired beasts, the others had difficulties in other things such as talking or communicating emotion.
But when they finally reached Ymir's room, Pan didn't go knock and go in right away, questioning if Ymir was even still there... but there was another issue that kept him from going in. His earlier behavior might've really disturbed Phoebe and that thought made Pan feel guilty.
"I'm sorry... about earlier. I get pretty over protective of my husband...But..." he paused... "... recently my emotions seem to struggle in intimidating situations... I'm sorry I threatened like that... I was being unkind to you... " he spoke to her.
