Kiera had finished her food in a matter of minutes, only to look over to Asher as she tipped over the jar and her mouth bent in weird ways to devour the soul. Almost made Kiera spit out her food onto the plate. But luckily, she didn't. Just swallowed the food and pushed her plate forward. Asher waited for a few minuted before giving a verdict. Kiera stared at her. "So?" Asher shrugged. "A lot like bad human souls, actually." Kiera frowned. "Well that's boring." Asher sighed. "I see why demons don't really try eating each other. But it's bearable."

*Shortstraw nodded, "well the souls may tast diffrent depending on what the demon was. Thats a low class DD. However... he was kind of ugly on the outside too, so... it might just be him." Shortstraw laughed and pushed cyrils plate infont of keria, "Here you can have seconds. I know you need the energy." He smiled, "how was it?"

Kiera grumbled a little. "It was pretty good, I suppose." She then shook her head and looked to the door to the living room. "And I think I'll leave Cyril's in the fridge for when he wakes up. He'll probably be hungry or something. I'm not all that hungry anymore anyway. I'll snack on things." Asher stretched her front paws and nodded. "You're probably too nice to him. But I'll tell him that when he wakes up." Kiera smiled. "Thanks Asher."

*Veria stayed quiet and just watched. She didn't really know what to do at a dinner table. She never ate dinner exacly. But she was glad she could be there to share the time. And to see how shortstraws family was. However as he finished he nodded, gathered the dishes, and put cyrils in the fridge. He too was tired after what happened the day before. He then smerked, "well i'll be upstairs whenever your ready." He chukkled and walked up, "i too and vary tired after the mission." However it was now veira noticed the sligth limp in his leg. "I see he took a injurry..." She replied.

Kiera nodded as she stood up. "Yeah. He was lucky I was there, actually. Otherwise it'd probably be a lot worse than it was. And even after healing it to the best of my abilities, it's still a bit bad." Well, a bit in the lightest sense of the word. "Now that you've reminded me, I need to contact Hikari about that." She shrugged her heavy shoulders. "That'll be something for tomorrow, though."

*Veria rased a brow, "oh? I can fix his leg no problem. Though i'm afrade i'm about to pass out. So i will have to int he morning. It seems internal, perhaps i can show you somthing. It will be messy however." She giggled as she followed keria. "Theres more to healing others then just waving a hand over a cut you know." She nodded, "Which i may add, i can't do. I can only fix the internal stuff."

Kiera looked back to Veira for a second before she continued to walk up the stairs. "And here I was, convinced that you had got the Guardian healing gene from mom, too. Although she herself can't actually heal either. It's just run in the family." Kiera laughed. "Hikari can to the internal and the external stuff." Kiera dragged her tongue over her teeth. "I wonder what kind of family we have, outside of the one we know about."

*Veria smerked, "that sister i have already looked for. Turns out our fathers origen is made up of bouncing around familiys, none he's really related too. All in all YOKAI, was give to him when he was accepted in the NURA clan. Tenicly his last name was some japanese one from his mother, who was a orphan herself. So tecnicly, our family that we know of on dads side is all just put together, not actully related... well mostly. You know wha ti mean. Mother however, i am still investigating." She giggled, "And when i heal it's diffrent then yours. You see you get a gut on your arm, it heals. I get a cut, i have to chop off my arm and grow a new one. However with others as i said, i can only do the internal stuff. Meanwhile i know you can heal the extermal with just a wave of your hand." She nodded, "although strangly my seliva does hold a healing property to skin." She smiled as they entered and Shortstraw was aready in bed. She then relized it, she would be sleeping with shortstraw... in her sisters bed... with her sister there. This would be odd in many ways. Meanwhile shortstraw figured if he fell alseep first it would save him the embaricment of sleeping with both girls, being they were always fighting over him. She however seemed happy of the idea.

Kiera scratched the back of her head. "I've been reading a lot of our messed up family history in a book, actually.." She paused when she saw Shortstraw. "Oh god, this is going to be awkward. I squirm a lot in the night, too. So we'll probably be all tangled up in the morning." She shrugged, and yawned. "I'm so tired I'll probably sleep through anything, though." She was surprisingly calm about all this.

*Veria smerked, "i sleep like a rock. THough there isn't much chain to tangle up. This my sound like and excuse, but if we put shortstraw in the center, ontop of the chain, then he will act as a ballance. And i have a thing with hugging whatever is near when i sleep..." she replied the last bit alittle low toned relizing it made her sound more like a child. Be never the less it was the truth.

Kiera sighed. "Fine, fine. I did that a lot too. Not as much any more." She remembered something and her cheeks reddened a little before she coughed. "Lets just sleep." She neared the bed and carefully climbed on, shifting to one side of Shortstraw. How stupidly undignified this was. That bloody spider woman had a death-wish from her, now.

*Shortstraw slightly woke up as veria placed him softly onto of the chain, under his pillow and then finally he was placed in the center of the two. Veria then smiled, "So i do actully grow out of that then." She giggled and hugged shortstraws side, snuggling her head in happily... however she was out instantly. He however looked to Keria, "This is alittle ackword..." he held out his arm however for her to do the same. After all they alwasy did that.*

Kiera rolled her eyes before she rolled herself over and buried herself into Shortstraw. Before Shortstraw did that, she had convinced herself that she wasn't going to do that tonight. Clearly as she grew more tired, her will weakened. She then sighed and shut her eyes. "Goodnight, my dear."

*He kissed kerias forhead, "sleep tight." It looked alittle weird at first, shortstraw there int he center with both of the girls on his sides. But to a point, it was cool. Both girls were happy, and they weren't fighting. Plus it was ever boys dream to have to girl, one on each side of them, snuggling in to him. Oh what a dream come true it was. He closed his eyes and he too was out like a light. Question was, was Asher going to come in tonight.*

Downstairs, Cyril woke up. When he slowly brought himself up off the couch, he almost fell off in exhaustion. There, he was met with Asher. "Good journey?" She kept her voice down for obvious reasons, which also gave Cyril an indication as to what time of night it was. As he stumbled past her and into the kitchen, he steadied himself against the fridge. Asher followed on behind him. "Shortstraw cooked dinner, we saved yours in the fridge." Cyril nodded and lazily opened the door, bringing out the food and putting it on the table. Asher hopped onto the table next to the food. "Might I ask what you were doing at the Ice dragon kings castle?" Cyril rubbed his eyes and moved over to the table. "If I had known wha' was gonna happen while I were there. I wouldn't 'ave gone." Asher's eyes thinned. "What happened?" Cyril lowed his eyes to the table. "There was someone there. Before I came." Asher adjusted her seating. "Who?" Cyril shrugged. "Dinnae say his name. All I do know is tha' he's been goin' round from country to country askin' for their alliances." Asher looked to the food then back to Cyril. "And if they don't ally with him?" Cyril coughed as he attempted to swallow some food. "He massacres the kingdom."
After their discussion, towards the end of the night, Asher trailed upstairs. She had been given something to think about, and maybe she should update Kiera in the morning. It'd be hard telling her without Veira hearing. So maybe she should just.. save it for now. It wasn't a priority yet. She hoped, anyway. Asher pushed open the door with her paw and sauntered inside. As she hopped onto the bed, seeing Veira made her shiver a little, but she settled down on the end anyway. From what it looked like, Kiera's dreams were disturbed tonight, even though she was next to Shortstraw. Maybe this was what Cyril was talking about.
