Lark's laughter soon started to subsided."Sorry hon, I promised not to tell." she told him as she winked at Fredrick and went straight into another giggle fit at Devon's groan because she found his embarrassment funny but she knew he get her back later somehow.

"You know I'm going to kill you later right?" Whispered Devon to Fredrick. Fredrick only grinned and replied, "Worth it." Moving to stand by Lark, Devon sighed. "I'm glad you seem to be feeling better."

Lark sobered at that statement as she looked at him with a smile. "well a little but I sure did enjoy hearing about your childhood very interesting but don't worry I don't think any less of you. So did you pig out like I think you did, I hope you left food for everyone else." she said giggling

"Eh, hardly anyone eats the food anyway. It's mediocre at best." he shrugged. It didn't stop him from eating three trays full. He frowned at her "less of you comment" He dreaded to hear what other stories she knew. YUp. Fredrick was dead.

"Well unless you suddenly get the bright idea too go out and get some real food where both stuck eating it now how much of it did you eat and I hope you didn't scare anyone." Lark joked with him squeezing his hand gently

Devon rolled his eyes. "I only ate a few tray fulls." he relented. "And I didn't scare people.... Just attracted a couple of stares, that's all. Not like that hasn't happened before." He squeezed her hand back, smiling... just slightly.

"I hope you remember not to wolf down your food because that might attract stares too you know." Lark said with a smile. "So Fredrick what brings you here I know it wasn't the food." Lark asked peeking around Devon to look at him

Devon nodded to Fredrick. He was eager as well to know why he was here. His second was too efficient to only be here for a visit.
Fredrick smiled. "I came to meet Lark and offer my apologies for her troubles. However... The pack is restless. They have been very eager to meet Lark since you first saw her. I'm kind holding off a bombardment of get well cards balloons and flowers. I might have let them in by there are a lot of people to fit into one tiny place.
Devon chuckled. "I should have known, but I suppose that I haven't been listening to the link as well." He looked down at Lark. "It doesn't have to be now, but you'll need to meet them sometimes."
"And I also came to tell Lark all your embarrassing childhood moments." Fredrick added before getting up and running out the door.
Devon anger flared and he started to pursue.

"Make it clean Devon." Lark told him while in a fit of giggles at Devon's anger and the other wolf's quick get away it made it clear that this isn't the first time Fredrick did something that resulted in Devon strangling him not that she minded she actually wanted Devon to work off his stress even though it had to be at Fredrick's expense but then from the way their relationship sounds this maybe normal for the two and it wasn't like she could stop Devon once he got riled up away but she could laugh at the situation which she did

That was it Devon was going to kill him. He chased him all the way out of the hospital and down the street, but he'd catch him. One way or another....
Sheryl saw them running and rolled her eyes. Len behind her grinned, his arms laden with flowers and cards. Plus a bunch up balloons on his arm. "It nice to know things can be normal for awhile." Len laughed. "Yeah, but I hope they at least down attract the cops attention." Sheryl said dryly. She peeked into Lark's room. "Hey. Mind if we come in?" she said with a warm smile.

Lark was still laughing when a familiar face peeked in the door and a big smile came on Lark's face. "Sheryl hi its great to see you please come in." The girl said eagerly thankful that her friend was alright and here to see her she had to admit she did miss Sheryl's company a lot when Devon was gone and she was so depressed she couldn't bring herself to spend time with her friend who had been very worried about her. Lark pulled her self up a little more so that she was sitting up instead of laying down.

Sheryl came in with Len behind her with the arm full of gifts. "You remember Len, My husband?" she asked. Len nodded. "It's nice to finally formally meet you. I'd shake your had or something but the others wanted me to bring these." he said, shrugging and almost losing a bouquet. Sheryl caught it. "Let me just find a place for those." She began to place them around the room. "How do you feel?"

"No we've never met I'm afraid but Hi Ben." Lark said watching Sheryl place the balloons and cards in a nice place like a mother hen and she even found a vase for the flowers. " Well after meeting Fredrick I feel a lot better especially after the trip down memory lane we had which is why Devon's chasing him like a runaway dinner." Lark said with a smile

Len looked confused for a moment then grinned. "I remember that. Told him he couldn't take her down. I won 20 bucks off that bet." he said proudly. Sheryl shook her head and chuckled. "Men. Most of these are from the pack, Lark. They want you to get well soon." she smiled,

"So no one sided with Devon huh? My poor guy no wonder hes mad no had any real faith in him." Lark teased with a smile Lark knew that if Devon had heard that comment Ben would be hiding out somewhere with Fredrick. "Well what can you do about them Sheryl we can't really put a leash on them." she joked at Sheryl's comment about men but she was taken of guard by what Sheryl said about the gifts. "They are from them really? Why would they do that?" it wasn't that she didn't like the gifts in fact she loved them she just never had someone give her something for nothing in return for a very long time especially people or wolves she should say she didn't know that well
