maybe I'm pulling too much from Princess Leia here, but I've seriously been toying around with the idea of making Thessa Force Sensitive. maybe not Jedi Level, perhaps more like BoShek. I'd like feedback on this idea if possible,

Who would teach her if she was?

hell if I know. Like I said. I was throwing the idea out there for feedback. It would pretty much manifest as just premonitions and chances of bizarre luck if anything at first. Not like telekinieasis and lightsaber proficiency.

Well, I honestly don't have an issue, but thats not my call. Leia was cool in her way.
She'd need some mentoring from one of the Jedi around, and even then it might be a few chapters before it was entirely useful.

>.> I don't have an issue about her being force sensitive, though I think it'd be better if she was completely oblivious to the idea she had it.
And contrary to Des's misconceptions, just because someone's got a touch of the force, doesn't mean that she's going to be snatched up by the jedi order faster than a hutt runs from salt. Only those with strong potential would be ultimately pressured into joining (for their problems with the dark side), though her age and her already present career would prove to be a pretty nasty thing to just tell her to pack up or be pressured into the service corps.
Meaning, very simply, no, she won't need mentoring, though some jedi might remark on it whenever she is confronted by them; and more than likely, since she hasn't joined yet, she might see this as annoying and irritating as well. For jedi seeking to mentor her, this isn't necessarily a warning against it, just don't be surprised if your actions mess her up.... Especially since chances are, the majority of you have much bigger things to tackle than trying to teach a weak powered Ambassador how to be moral. You know, there is a war starting to broil up, and while i encourage interaction, try not to bite off more than you can realistically chew.

Sayla, what're you going on about with a library? SIS is more than just decoding cyphers.
Nelo: No misconception about it, I never mentioned anything about the Order or her becoming a Jedi. She even said 'not Jedi level'.

Well, then the guy wouldn't be there acting as he is. We're not entirely canon anyway. Could've corrected me when he showed up my first post when I was uninformed.
Hes also been referred too as 'ex-military', so I'm just rolling with the momentum now. Maybe hes from a secular branch that supports the Ministry of War, on collecting information crucial to its members, thus his interrogation of Stellar's PCs and implied military history.
Skye: Sounds good, we should prolly get moving off to doing something soon.

I wasn't that focused on the Republic side of things and wasn't really paying attention until I read Sayla's post. I wondered where she was coming from and so I looked it up.

Des, why would a Bulk Freighter have better communications equipment than the Listening outpost?

Its a refitted mobile command center for the Republic Navy.
The listening post is a relay on a rock run by three guys with a shuttle.
The ship uses the relay to boost its own equipment. Thus why its there. It shifts between the relays in the sector to maintain a secure, rotating location with good communication if needed.

So why couldn't I use the relay to boost my own signal?
