A blind spot that had been seen. Perhaps the reasoning behind the bubbles had finally been found in the brash young woman who now darted between Soldier Virgo and the youma's lashing attack towards both the solider and their princess. "Cancer Guarding Barrier!" The words had not been heard in the Surrounding for weeks upon weeks of time, words that they were afraid they were never going to hear again. The voice was, however, incredibly different.

Abeline Froust had slipped away forever to be replaced by a roving spirit that would not lay down and let things die. Angelica 'Hawke' Jones had somehow possessed the body of Sailor Cancer, made it her own, and lived again to keep this power and position for her own. Just in time too for the bubble popped up above Soldier Virgo just in time to deflect a captain that had been hoping to use the youma as a distraction.
Foolish boy.
(( Congratulations Vamps! You were chosen by the Zodiacs and the players to be the Zodiacs' newest comrade-in-arms. The body is yours, the memories are yours, however you know very little about being a Zodiac past what Hawke herself would have known upon reaching the Surrounding. More will become clear soon! ))

Of course it wasn't over. Of course victory was short-lived. How could Magellan have expected anything else? They'd been slapped down and slammed back since the beginning of this space fiasco, and it seemed like every time they gained a little bit of ground, something else came hurtling at them and knocked them five paces back. She was sick and damn tired of it.
Maybe it would have been some kind of consolation to know that the Negaverse hadn't expected this -- apparently -- they'd been panicking for a moment -- but all that showed her was that this ******** youma was so strong that even the ones who had brought it to them didn't know what it was capable of.
Who the hell tried to use a weapon they didn't understand, couldn't control? She wouldn't be surprised if the big b*****d turned on them all and tried to kill them.
When Camelot rushed back into the battle, Magellan could do little but follow him. Yeah, she was hurt. Yeah, she was tired.
No, she didn't want to die.
Magellan did 33 damage!

Bifröst watched in horror as the youma picked itself back up, and took the color from the Surrounding. Lilac eyes widening, cut in her side almost forgotten. She glanced at Virgo for a moment as she spoke but nodded. The Page turned her eyes back to the dragon and sprinted forward
She slammed her fist into whatever piece she could reach. "You stole all the color from the Surrounding... You will pay!"
--
Jarosite's mouth fell into a lazy grin again. He scanned the area for senshi and almost caught a fist in his face by a rather busty senshi (Corvus). He smirked and snapped his leg out at her, steel toe aiming for her stomach. Fists were clenched and picks held in them, that grin still on his face.

He'd thought the creature was dead. It had certainly looked dead. Usually something with that many holes in it wasn't going to get up and start moving around again. The Surrounding was a place were really ******** up things could happen it seemed though.
He watched as the color drained out of the road under him and fill the monstrosity. As the creature stood up and shook itself off he cursed and tried to scramble further away from it.
He wasn't a fighter. All he was going to do here was get in the way. They were all probably going to get in the way now. With the size of the Negaverse force here and that creature they were out numbered and out powered with no way to regroup or ask for back up.
In short they were ********.

"Hardly ******** around or goofing off." His hand wrapped tight around Gunn's as she hauled him to his feet, even as he came up he grunted in pain. He wasn't in the best shape and with the chaos in the role of power again he was far from good shape for this fight. "I won't let them take anyone... I won't loose another friend. I won't let them do what they did to Lyra." Moving past Gunn he held his hands out wide. "I will forge their defeat, their fall, and I won't let them harm any one again... LIQUID METAL!" Suddenly an orb of liquid was floating between his hands spinning to build momentum he slung the orb towards the chaos beast.
"LIQUID METAL!!" The pain was sharp in his chest; pulling at something deeper inside his chest to power the second use of his power, the second orb flew up just like the first and he continued to turn like a discus thrower slinging the second orb right at Fluorite.
"THEN COME AND LET IS BE DONE YOU CHAOS b*****d!" He shouted in rage.

Leto would recognize Scylla's attack any day of the week. "Watch out for the tentacles! Attack them if you can, Scylla will feel anything that you do to them!"
While she had no right to tell anyone in the Negaverse what to do, she figured a fair warning to all of them would be appreciated. She hoped. <******** them up.
When the words were yelled at the group, Leto's mouth spread to a wide grin.
"Dark Mirror Senshi... Stay close, work together. Don't get in over your head. And as the General said.... ******** them up."
She narrowed her eyes and moved forward towards the side of Order to fight.

"Back to square one, it looks like," Sessrumnir mumbled to himself as he picked up a rock to throw at the great youma. It wasn't like he had magic. And there was no way in hell he was going to get close enough to touch it with his bare hands.
He was perfectly fine just throwing things if it would somehow kill it.
"I mean, it's not like we don't have to watch our backs for everyone else, too. Now there's a youma that acts like a trick candle? Kill it... Just kidding! Kill it again... just kidding again! This is like a bad video game. Only the minons have actual weapons," he said to Pasiphae and Ganymede as he threw another rock at the monster, jabbing a thumb at the DMC and Negaversers.
"Just try and kill it," Valhalla shot at the other page, picking up a rock for himself to... throw at the youma. Because what else could he do? Besides keep an eye out for people trying to attack them, as well.
He glanced over to where he'd left Naica, making sure he wasn't being attacked or anything like that. "Stay there!" he yelled at his friend, not wanting him to get hurt any more than before.

All in all, Corvus had been called worse. 'b***h' was at least something that she was used to and something she could and would answer to given the situation. This was certainly one of those situations. A smirk curved the raven-haired young woman's lips as she brought a gloved hand up, catching hold of the Dark Senshi's fist. The impact made her palm sting, sending a jostle up along her arm, but she held fast (as fast as she would be able to, given the situation), bringing her other hand up to aim another punch. This one, at the very least, had direction. It was aimed right for the other senshi's jaw.

What..?
There was a time when Sailor Nyx was standing in arms with the Jovians and the page, Naica. They had a civilian in their midst. Her spirits, at least, were rallied into something resembling hope, though the strange, smokey senshi was simultaneously casting doubt on what she thought she knew. That time wasn't long ago.
It began with a near silent "puff" -- the sound of their sheltered civilian going up in a fine gold dust. None of them had much of a chance to try and peice together what had caused this before the entire battlefield was lifted and split: what Nyx assumed was the Order into the Chronos Castle and the other without.
"Not again..." were her first words upon waking, recalling how a youma had knocked her out in the midst of battle a few weeks earlier. She thought about starting to wear a football helmet. A welcome quiet greeted her this time -- not entirely so, for there were soldiers in varying degrees of unconsciousness, planning, fear, and confusion. But, for the moment, there was no death, and she relished it. If the civilians were all dead, then... at least they were still standing. Maybe even the new allies she had just met, if there was any luck left. Pasiphae simply had to be.
The senshi of phantasmagoria was not surprised when the tentative peace shattered under a fresh onslaught. Steeling herself, she stood among strangers and fought the dark monster until it crumbled into pieces. This calm was met with a refined, hard-lined pessimism tempered with determination. The latter kept her there, kept her fighting, and kept her from falling into despair.
Sailor Nyx stared out into the void of space from the perch of Chronos castle, watching for Negaverse movements as bits of the great youma lay scattered on the rainbow road. However, it was not they who struck first. The seeping shades of gray formed a revitalized youma! The ashen thing left behind added insult to injury.
To battle.

Wolframite, Howlite, gather a few more and come with me, we’re going to see the princess. Make sure their… experienced.” He said turning with bright eyes. If anyone was going toe to toe with Senshi royalty it should be him. He turned his eyes towards the captain and looked pleased. “Save it for now, if there is anyone badly injured or too tired give it to them, or yourself if need be. Good work Captain.” The sight of Sailor Cancer restored made him curse not so mildly. She looked different from what he remembered though, her…Hair if that’s what one could call it looked like she’d turned over an easter basket on her head. As strange as she looked though she should not be underestimated. “MIND THE ZODIACS! KILL THEM” He ordered the rest of the soldiers.

The orb of metal hit her arm, and she screamed. She had plenty of armor, the only thing that protected her arms were cloth, below the shoulder.
He'd gotten a lucky shot, but Fluorite's attention now was on him, her arm burned, the skin bubbling, an angry red that was quick to start bleeding.
She ignored it.
Perhaps it was the adrenaline, perhaps it was the youma's second wind - but Fluorite ignored the pain, pushed it away, and her unharmed hand rose, katar and all, pointing staight at his eyes.
"If you are that eager to die..."
She was gone.
Then, not even a second, she was right in front of him.
"I can definitively do that."
She turned, aiming to slash his throat open.
General Fluorite was done ******** around.

Cancer! Virgo's scream wasn't one of fear, but of joy; she threw herself at her missing comrade and hugged her, tightly, uncaring as to her own bloodied state or the state of Cancer's hair--it'd been beautiful, long and dark before. Now it was... rainbow-colored... dreadlocks? Who cared! "Cancer," she said, smiling and squeezing the Sailor of Protection. "Help me protect the princess!" And then it was once more into the breach. Even the revival of a sister could not stop this battle, couldn't be a distraction. There would be time later, whether they went to the Space Cauldron or to Denny's. Gunn was proud of her little protege. (Who knew when Hephaistos had become her protege; Gunn didn't, just knew she wanted to make sure he was useful.) "So don't. We all have a star in our hearts... and the power to keep it there. Use it, Hephaistos. Let's kick some a**." And then he attacked a General. "You moron," she said, affection suffusing her tone. She'd done a lot of stupid things, too. "If only it was on fire."

At last a fight. A cruel smile crossed the dark senshi's face as the white moon senshi caught her fist. Instead she aimed a kick at Corvus as she tried to avoid the punch heading towards her jaw. She tried to grab the senshi's fist but missed and caught her arm instead. Still not before she got hit, but it would be nothing, she had so much energy, she felt so alive. So yes the crack probably meant that her jaw was broken but she didn't feel it. Not yet anyway. The adrenaline was running and so she just threw punches and kicks at the senshi in anyway that she could.
