 Leo looked at the twin and smiled gently at him before looking at the master, "no, thank you, master. i will be quite content simply serving you. i do not wish to take up too much time by making another fetch me a book." he bowed his head and then bowed to the men in the group, his mind having already erased what had happened with the last guard who had taken them on the journey here. "I will do my best to not cause trouble and stay out of the way."

 Ipo smiled. "Well then please enter the carriage so we may depart. There are small meals stowed under the seats of fruit, bread and jam. that should satiate any oncoming hunger before we arrive at the city of Loslith." "Is there not a city on the way there?" "The king has re-directed the course of our travels so we shall be camping." He explained, letting them both sit down. "Please remain seated at all times. I've heard that you have a bad habit of opening doors while we're moving, Prince Elliot." The man chuckled. "It happens." And the door was closed, voices outside signaling their departure, moments later the wheels beneath starting to turn. Silver eyes looked at Lily. "You will cause no trouble. You are harmless and to stay by my side, remember?" Elliot smiled softly, kissing the boy's head with much more affection then he had Kashi. "I do not wish to lose you during our travels."

Leo knelt at the prince's feet when they had sat in the carriage. he smiled when the master kissed his head and looked over at Ipo, not sure the master wanted him to lay his head on his knee like he normally did. He remembered why the master had opened the door the first time and shivered slightly remembering the discipline stick. "Mr. Ipo? The master opening his door was my fault, please do not blame him,"

The fourteen year old smiled. "I blame no one except bad locks." and laughed to himself before allowing the door to close. Elliot waited a moment, making sure Ipo was talking to someone else before stroking Lily's ribbon weaved hair. "I should not have kissed you in front of him, but I know for a fact he is not a gossip. Kashi and Ipo were gifts to my father from Kasp. Apparently hare's were a rarity there, considering they've built their own kingdom rather high in the sky above our own mountains." his fingers found the other's ears again, making the prince smile and kiss them. "They are just so adorable. Sadly I've nothing for you to do, I need to finish my papers." The door opened quickly, the teen poking his head inside. "We're leaving now." And closed the door again, horses huffing before the carriage started to move.

Leo smiled when the master stroked his hair and looked up when Ipo came back to tell them they were leaving. "so they are like me? a gift? are they only servants? they do not serve your father in the same way i serve you do they?" he didn't think the King or Prime Minister would accept any other into their beds, especially considering the PM's mental instability. but then again-the master had kissed Kashi. maybe it was similar to what he did. "i shall leave you alone so you may work, master."

"They were gifts, yes. Ipo and Kashi were given as servants of the highest quality. Purebred hares, good at what they do, and their appearances and personalities are enjoyable as well." He explained, shuffling through his papers and beginning to read. "What they do is nothing like your position. though I wonder why they call you Mistress." He looked at Leo for a moment, contemplating this before shrugging and continuing to read. "And you're free to talk, I already have a mild sense of motion sickness, reading doesn't help so hopefully talking to you will. You cure all ailments." And chuckled, making sure to keep his papers all on one leg so Leo could rest on the other. "You are nervous about Falia, yes?"

Leo saw the master was leaving the leg next to him clear and smiled as he lay his head down. this time he felt his magic slowly creep out to the master and ease his motion sickness, this was bad. he was getting more and more aware of his powers and using them more freely. but the master asked him something that took all thoughts away from his breaking of the rules. "i-" he bite his lip and kept his eyes on the floor of the carriage. "I'm not sure how i feel about that, master. i-am scared, yes. i fear-there has always been a...small part of me that believes my mother is alive. that-that they are all waiting for me back at home and it will be like nothing happened." he closed his eyes, "when-when i was new to being a bentien and things got bad. i-had this place i'd hide in-it was my home and my mother and father were there. we would be in the living room and Tsume would be curled up in front of the fire. they would hold me and tell me that it was all a bad dream, that everything was ok. sometimes there was the baby there sometimes it was just my parents, but it was somewhere safe that i could hide." Leo shook his head, "i know-i know that it isn't possible. my father-he is gone. Tsume was so badly hurt, and my mother might be-even if she isn't the chance of the baby living..." he fought back tears, not wanting to even think about such possibilities. "so long as i never went there i could keep on dreaming. but i fear what i will find." he clenched his hands and took a slow breath, "Forgive me, master. this is not what you wanted to hear, i am fine."

And as quickly as Leo rested his head Elliot felt the sickness being turned away. A wonderful healer, but as the Falian spoke, Elliot was partially regretting asking. It sounded so complicated so he couldn't even imagine the torrent of emotions going through the boy. His paperwork was ignored, stroking his hair, caressing the pale face in comfort, once the head shook the prince moved to the bottom of the carriage and held the bentien. "That is all right, Lily. That is what I wanted to hear. It's normal to be fearful. Once we get there, if you wish to leave after what you've seen we'll leave immediately, all right?" He asked, letting go and holding the clenched hands, kissing the fingertips.

Leo licked his lips and looked at the master, "thank you, please forgive me for troubling you." he kissed the man softly on the lips and took up the papers the prince had set to the side. "please don't neglect your work because of me, master. i am fine, i promise you." he smiled to show he was telling the truth and held the papers out. "Please?"

"If you insist, Lily. And you are no trouble at all, really. I enjoy your thoughts, your feelings, your words and your company. You are no trouble whatsoever." He kissed the bentien back before focusing on his papers, mostly reading, a signature or two. First were the papers for Loslith, then Falia. It was thirty minutes later did the prince look up, ears raised to their fullest as he stood. "Did they pack it?" he opened the seat he had been sitting on, finding the papers for Falia on Leo, then the food. Closing it he opened the other one, giving a sigh of relief and pulling out his lantern which was fading from it's confused orange to plain white. "Thank heavens. I'd nearly forgotten, since I don't carry it within the castle."

Leo looked at the lantern curiously, cocking his head to the side. "master? why do you always have that lantern outside of the castle?" it seemed kind of inconvenient for him to have it around when it showed his emotions with the changing colors. "forgive me for asking, i was just curious..."

"Hm? Oh well, I don't remember how it started, actually. Mother said that I needed to control my emotions because the castle lights were constantly changing. So this was specially made for me and she made me carry it around to show myself how extremely emotional I was. In turn I learned to control and hide them better." He shrugged, placing it on a seat and sitting back on the floor. "I'm sure it was more complicated but that is all I really remember. I remember mom gave me gelatin when I managed to keep it white for an entire day."

Leo nodded, "i see-" he could understand why the master's mother would have him do it when he was young, but did he have to keep it up? it was the master's choice, though, so leo didn't say anything more. he carefully straightened the papers in his lap and the set them back in his lap once they were perfect. he smiled and looked at the master happily, "You don't have to sit down here with me, you know. i am far more used to it that you are, master, and if we take a sudden turn you might fall over."

Elliot chuckled. "As would you if we were to take a sudden turn. I will be fine, you merely relax, look out the window if you'd like. Sometimes I merely need a change of view." And gave the smallest of shrugs before continuing his reading, unconsciously wiping away at the makeup slowly. He just wasn't used to it, it was incredibly foreign.

Leo had to fight to keep himself from rolling his eyes, "master, i am far more used to this and can adjust my weight so i do not fall." did the master really think him so clumsy? but he sat silently and noticed that the master was wiping at the makeup, smearing it. "master, here-" he took the sleeve of his dress and turned it inside out before he began to carefully remove the makeup. once it was gone he sat back and smiled, "there, does that feel better? it is gone, but i can do a more proper job when we stop and have water."
