Sophomore Claire wandered through the dorm building, looking for someone she might know. Her things, besides the shoulder bag full of books and school supplies that she carried with her, had not arrived yet and she figured it was too late to see about getting her schedule.
So it was such that led her to find herself standing outside of the room labled "England, America, Canada. She raised a hand and rapped on the door...perhaps Canada was here and she could speak to him. "Bonjour? Frere Canada? Are you here?

*best junior ever*  Al patted his brother on the head as he stood and took out his phone. He pet the cats as he walked to the door just as there was a knock.
"Huh?"
He opened the door hearing a muffled voice on the other side.
"Hello."
He greeted the girl he didn't recognize that stood before him.

Sophomore "Ah, bonjour...?" Claire said to the person that opened the door. Though he looked like Canada, she knew that he was not that aforementioned country. "Tell moi, is Canada here? I'm Quebec, or Claire, and I would like to see him."

Sophomore Claire listened as the boy in front of her spoke, frowning in concern at the mention that Canada was not feeling well. When the boy walked in front of her, she huffed indignantly and muttered, "Excuse toi! Et un bon jour a toi aussi! {Excuse you! And a good day to you too!}
Assuming that it was all right for her to enter into the dorm room, she did so, closing the main door behind her. Claire made her way further into the dorm, poking her head around one bedroom door. Hoping that Canada was behind it, she called out softly, "Matthew? Are you in there?

Sophomore "Bonjour frere~ {Hello brother}," Claire said softly as she was acknowledged. Taking such as an invitation, she went into the room and sat down. She did not realize immediately that Matthew was on the phone, but when she saw the device in his hand, she inquired, Would it be better for me to come back later? I did not realize you were on the phone.

Sophomore "D'accord, tres bien {okay, very good}," Claire replied upon being told that she was not interrupting anything. When asked about attending the school, she nodded and affirmed with a smile, "Oui, I'm attending this school now, same as you. I just started today...well, I guess tomorrow since today is nearly over. She looked around the room thoughtfully, taking everything in before focusing her attention back on Matthew with a sharp gaze. "Who was that garcon {boy} that greeted me at the door? And why did he say you were ill?"

"Y-you mean Alfred?"He looked at her confused. He was ust to some of the American states not knowing him but for one of HIS provinces to not know America? He thought he had taught them all better then that. "That was America... my brother."HE looked at her a little concerned. "I just... well I missed classes today. I just didn't feel up to it today. How are you?"

Sophomore "I thought that was America, but I was not sure. There are several of the states here, so I've heard, and I thought that garcon could have been one of those states. Excuse moi for not knowing." Claire retorted. She then listened to his 'explanation' for not feeling well. Peering at him over the edge of her glasses, she said bluntly, "I don't believe you." The Quebecois had heard that strange things happened at this school sometimes and she wondered if something had happened to Matthew...she was certainly going to do her best to find out.

Sophomore "I'm just worried that you met up with some dark creature or something," Claire sighed. "I've heard stories of strange things happen at this ecole {school}"
Sensing that Matthew did not want to talk about this any more, Claire followed her older brother's prompts. "I see...I could not remember. Et non, I have not been to my room yet...I'm still waiting for the rest of my things to arrive. But I'm pretty sure I'm in Dorm 24, with Florida and Cuba."

Temp-Canada- "C-cuba? And Fl-Florida? Couldn't they have gotten you a r-room with other g-girls?"He was a bit concerned for his only Provence at the school being in a dorm with 2 boys even if one was his boyfriend. One of the reasons was a bit selfish thow.

Sophomore ."Oui," Claire replied casually, "I'm with those two. I was honestly wondering why I was not placed with other girls, but I have my own room and all, so it's tres bien. She gave a small shrug and half-smile. She truly did not mind the fact that she was rooming with Cuba and Floride. "I am surprised," the Quebecois thought aloud, "that I was assigned to room with Spanish-speaking countries."
