Jack sat down on the bed and set Alex in his lap wrapping his arms around her. He kissed her head smiling at his family in the room. It was good to have their daughter back and that she was safe and every bit the adventurous pirate h mother is. He siad looking at Lucia. "Lu, your mother and I have some things we want to tell you...just so you understand why we did the things we did when you...left." he got up and went over to Lucia. "I'am pretty sure Gary told you about my uncle when I was a child living in London."

Lucia looked at him and nodded,"I'm sorry about that daddy...I'm sorry I broke your hearts when I left."

Jack nodded. "I know...I wouldn't expect less, but that's alright. The point is, that if my uncle is roaming around, we can't be traveling. It's too dangerous and..."He looked at alex. "Your mother and I...already lost a child once.."He looked at her sadly. "We dont want to lose another."

Alex looked at the ground with a sad look on her face and she nodded.
Lucia nodded,"I know I was told that....and I don't want to lose you guys to your Uncle dad."

Jack hugged Lucia and closed his eyes. He didn't want to lose either of them to anything. Not traders, or the government. He would give his life to protect the two of them. "I'll do everything in my power to get Gary back, alright?" He rubbed her back and walked back to Alex.

Lucia smiled and nodded,"Thanks dad..." she looks out the window letting her mind wonder,'Gary please be okay.' she thought.
Alex looked at Jack and then looked at he bed and rubbed the sheets a little.

Jack sat down and laid back on the bed sighing and rubbing his face. How did everything go so wrong? he wondered. Gary taken to prison, his uncle back from Hell, everything was going downhill for them.

Alex got close to Jack.
Lucia looked at her parents,"But we can't just stay here, anything can happen we need to get Gary ourselves we can't just trust to of you crewmen to do the job of bringing back someone we care about."

Jack looked at her. "If we tried anything to bail him out, then we would be hanged. I may have friends in high places, but I am still a pirate and can be hung for it. There's nothing we can do without risking our own lives."

Jack got up and walked over to Lucia. "I know, your worried. We all are." he rubbed her arms kissing her head. "Gary will be fine. He's as tough as nails."
