Once Lance thought that they had gotten far enough away from the Zigzagoon they stopped to catch their breath.
After a while Lance said "Okay lets keep going and see if we can survive the rest of this trip."
They set off again across the desert to complete the mission given to them.

Unless you roll an encounter, please continue to roll] The heat of the desert would just be stirring as they took each step forward. Early in the day ....it hadn't reached it's full heat yet ...., and that was a good thing as the place was already warm, but not to the point where it was terribly uncomfortable. It was hot, but not the point just yet that sweat would pour off the body or that the sands themselves would shimmer with heat.
It wasn't that deadly heat yet, but only just yet.

The pokemon would use ARM Thrust then at him as those fingers stop and it's arms would shoot outwards with rapid speed while moving the stone to one side to another. It was an obvious attempt to injury the boy as Shadow as about to learn a very interesting lesson. That pokemon didn't just hurt other pokemon, but that they could also managed to hurt the trainer as well.
The Cleffa had a snarl on it's lips.[Out roll me in order to avoid the attack.] [Thinks I want you to know about. First off, a trainer can be hurt, and if they take 3 injuries they will black out or faint. When this happens, your character will awaken back at the pokemon center sometimes, and others ...since you out in the field might be new or strange places. Either way, you will wake up with less then you had when you were knocked unconscious. Now, also, I want you to know that on the Front page is the information center. Here you can find every move that is in the game, and also you can see how the move is used in the guild. ARM THRUST = Con. type Tough = normal attack formula/5 Straight-arm punches that strike the foe 2 to 5 times consectively, until the foe is able to roll higher than the opponent. These hits take place during attack & defensive turns, and the user can't use a new move until the opponent is able to avoid this one. ]

Shadow wasn't expecting the Cleffa to attack and he was a bit late to jump back as the pokemon attacked."No don't attack me!" It would be a miracle if Shadow was able to dodge. (Why did you have to roll a 20))

What happen next ....was probably fastest succession of five strikes in a row. Each one aimed for the same spot as the Cleffa would actually hit hard enough to crack a bone ....before it was done, and standing with a smirk on it's face.
The pokemon was done, but, it wasn't finished.

Shadow was sent tumbling back from the attack. He slowly stood up reaching back grabbing Grey's pokeball and held it until it grew. He then tossed it up releasing Grey right infront of Cleffa ready for battle. "Grey use headbutt!" Grey would quickly take off running right at Cleffa lowering its head in the process.

Though the Cleffa was no stranger to a good scrap or fight. It would smirk in an almost maddening sort of way, and them move to the left as it tries to let it's opponent charge on past it.
A malicious look was in it's eyes, and it's hands were already ready to start waving back and forth. A very powerful move for such a little pokemon to know.

Arlie felt her heart plummet as she stepped off of the helicopter and onto the island. It was so hot and dismal here that she'd be lucky to survive, much less catch a Pokemon. She sighed and began trudging forward, seeing as the helicopter was already leaving and so there was no place to go except forward.

"No wild Pokemon yet." Arlie observed as she looked around. So far all she saw was sand. Maybe the Pokemon lived among the sand dunes? Or perhaps underground? Well wherever they lived, she wouldn't find out until she found one. She pressed on, heading for the center of the island.

One for his defense and the other for his attack.] The Houndour would find that his paws weren't fast enough this time as the rage would catch him by surprise. The pain in that move made him flinch, but it was something that he could easily get over ....as he turns just as quickly as possible and open his maw to release embers towards his opponent once more.
This was a life and death struggle, and he had no plans of dying. [Roll# 1 - past defense, Roll# 2 - current attack] [You gain + 1 to attack rolls ] [8 - 6 = 2 + 1 due to the usage of rage = 3dmg] Houndour [m] lvl:2/Jolly Hp: 10/13 Pp: 17 Att: 7 Def:6 Spd: 7 Sp Att: 7 Sp Def: 7 Moves: Leer, Ember, Beat up Capture roll: 11 "Strife, prepare yourself." Molly commanded. This Houndour wasn't giving up, in the slightest.

[2/10] Arlie's foot would come into contact with her first pokemon as she would feel something push against her foot. A brown pokemon the same color as the sand ....head stood just a few feet out of the ground as the sandshrew that had been digging about found itself in a very strange situation.
A bit of a vein in her head throb at the contact that she decided wasn't right to being with as she looks upwards at her opponent with a glare in her eyes.
