Amelia Frances
She stood up a little straighter, surprised, "You can take that class here?" That sounded like an interesting class: one with simple animals would have been interesting enough. "I admit to not knowing many magical creatures, except the ones in Muggle legends. Do you teach how to strengthen the connection between creatures too?" She believed that eventually (soon) she would be taking a class to teach wizards how to work on their empathic abilities, as she still was under the misconception all witches had them.

Professor Kalle Ithilwen | Care Of Magical Creatures Thought | Spoken Word | Action 'Yes, you can take that class here. Currently we are studying unicorns. And although working on connections is a brilliant idea, the strength of the connection between humans and creatures is something you must work on personally, for as personalities vary so widely between humans, the same goes for animals,' she said quietly. There were a few students in her class that came to mind when she thought of needing a better connection with the creatures she brought to class.

Heart Rainy Seabrooke, Second Year Ravenclaw
Cloaked by the invisibility charm she mastered as a young girl, Heart steps outside of the castle, her hair blowing in the breeze. Tonight was the same as past occurrences of sneaking off...
The girl carefully walks in the shadows to the shores of the lake, avoiding possible giveaways to her presence. She reaches one of the rockier areas, and knocks on the rock in seemly random places before a hole in the rock six feet away opens, artfully hidden by the vegetation. Looking around her, the Ravenclaw enters the dark entryway.
((My place, no one else knows of it, roleplay-wise))

Amelia blinked, slightly confused. "Everyone's different...does that mean..." She trailed off, now feeling guilty. Perhaps that was why no one had helped Liviana. They couldn't sense her pain. Realization forming on her face, she whispered, mostly to herself, "I really am different." It wasn't just her father saying, 'What's wrong with that girl?' It was a true difference.

Professor Kalle Ithilwen | Care Of Magical Creatures Thought | Spoken Word | Action Kalle cocked her head to the side. 'What is it?' she asked quietly. She did not mean to be intrusive, but she was curious what had conjured such an odd reaction in the young girl.

Licking her lips nervously, she sighed, "Well...you see..." Looking over at the teacher, she drew strength from her calm demeanor. Even if she did turn out to be a freak, she wouldn't tell her. "I sense...emotions. Like from everyone, people, plants, my dog...I guess that doesn't make sense, but I thought everyone could do that." She glanced over to her, judging her reaction. If it embarrassed her, she'd simply avoid her class. But she wanted to take it...

Professor Kalle Ithilwen | Care Of Magical Creatures Thought | Spoken Word | Action Kalle thought for a moment, gazing at the sky. She had never heard of someone with the ability to do that, but she found it interesting. 'When did this begin?' she asked, turning to look at the girl. She was not frightened or uncomfortable; rather, she was intrigued. For her not to know of something like this was very rare.

"Lumos." Heart could have not bothered with the light, for she could see in the dark without it...well, at least 'feel' her surroundings. Crack, jut, turn... Finally, she comes to a rather large cavern. The student extinguishes the spell, then with a flick of her wrist, she lights the candles placed around the chamber.
Closing her eyes, she probes her brain, scanning the Grounds for presences. She notes two beings: a confused one and a nervous-embarrased-slightly puzzled one. Most of the people were sleeping, but there was the occasional person who was still awake.

The young girl blinked at the question. It was like when did she learn to read? Her mother might have been able to tell that, but Amelia, well she always knew it. "For as long as I can remember. I've never been tested or anything, but the Muggles call it Empathic." She relaxed under her curious gaze. She knew now that it was unusual, but since Kalle was quite calm about it so was she.

Professor Kalle Ithilwen | Care Of Magical Creatures Thought | Spoken Word | Action 'It is definitely an interesting ability; one that I have not heard of but I assume is very different than empathy. I think with your ability you would excel in my class, should you wish to join it,' Kalle added with a kind smile. The ability to read emotions would definitely be helpful in the class, but she wondered how it would be kept a secret.

The chilly air nipped at Liviana's cheeks and nose as she plodded across the grounds to Hogsmeade. The sky was a clear blue in the Great Hall, but as Liviana gorged herself, gray clouds had moved across the ceiling. She popped open her umbrella to keep the drizzle from getting her wet. The last thing she needed now was a cold.
As she approached the gate, the winged boars snorted in greeting. She nodded curtly, and continued down the cobblestone path to the little outpost village.

Liviana entered through the gates again, and made her way to castle, lost in deep thought. Her anxious face betrayed the storm that welled deep within her.

The young girl looked proud, with a grin plastered on her face. "I would like that very much." She'd intended to take more classes, once she was settled enough. Since she'd responded over fifty times, perhaps now was the time to check.

The young girl turned around, thinking she sensed something. Upon seeing nothing but the darkness of the forest, she shrugged, then returned her attention to Kalle. "Yes?" The suggestion seemed characteristically good, not as if she was going to deny entrance to her class. But still, her throat caught in worry.
