After having checked out some of the campus, Amaya decided she wanted to take a walk outside of school. The cool, gentle breeze felt lovely against her skin, and she had a small smile in place as she walked on. Mm, I'm just itching to fly now, she thought as she continued on. A crunch beneath her shoes caused her to pause to see what she had stepped on. Broken glass, spotted with blood! She frowned as she stared down, and noted a trail of blood leading toward the river. Ammy followed, and from the top of the slope she saw a being who was half man and half fish! Her eyes widened a bit. She had never met such a person before. She quickly spotted the red staining the river and rushed down toward him. "Excuse me! I know this is out of the blue, but may I tend to your wound?"

Amaya giggled, despite her concern over his injury. "My name is Amaya," she replied with a smile. "And I'm not really a human, though I know I can easily pass as one." She took her shoes and socks off, then carefully stepped into the cool water. The stones at the bottom poked at her feet, and it was a little painful, but she moved carefully. "I'll take a look at that injury now, if you don't mind." She smiled reassuringly at him.

Simon followed Rebecca's lead to the river he looked over it, it was certainly beautiful in its own respects, not unlike the woman he was walking with... a blush sifted across his face as thsoe thoughts progressed, but he quickly shut them off, Rebecca was able to read minds, and if nothing else, he wanted to let her know by him telling her, not by an errant strand of thought, he took his jacket off and stretched his wings a bit, they felt a little cramped in there when an idea popped into his head, "Fancy a flight?" he asked, he felt relatively sure he could carry a passenger without much penalty to his ability. He smiled tying his jacket round his waist, even if they weren't gonna fly he'd just go with his wings out... unless they were going into a building, then he'd have to reign them in.

Simon could only smirk as she admired his wings, twas a natural thing after all, how many humanoids went walking around with thundering great feathered wings on their back? "Thank you." he said, smiling warmly he streched them a bit, stretching them upwards the way he couldn't this morning he thoroughly enjoyed the stretch as it made everything feel that bit better, he smiled ever wider as Rebecca agreed to the flight, Simon scooped Rebecca into a cradle hold, "I'd recomend grabbing hold of my neck or something relatively solid." he stood still waiting for Rebecca to make any adjustments to her seating position and for her to hold what she felt appropriate before he took off.

Simon waited for the confirmation of Rebecca's comfort before he started checkinga few things... he stood there for 30 seconds analyzing wind speeds, and factoring how they'd affect their path considering the new shape he had while carrying Rebecca... once he'd got that sorted he did an unnecessarily dramatic wing flare before bringing them down, and in doing so raising them up, Simon had everything tailored to Rebecca's comfort, by making her the centre of gravity he prevented her from being jostled a lot by the movement of his wings he ascended to about the point when humans would start gasping, parlty because he and she were part human, and partly because he didn't want to test her survivability past half a mile high, Simon did a slow spin to allow her to soak the details of campus from on high, "I can see my house from here." he joked as he caught sight of the dorms building, once his little heightened tour of campus ended Simon began flying towards the town off campus, he said to her, "Point out a destination, I'll land us there." she was the one who knew what she was doing, Simon was just the muscle, the flying, kinda snide muscle.

Simon smiled as the laugh escaped her, it felt nice to hold her, he looked to see the clearing she had pointed to and whilst he felt somewhat disheartned having to put her down he descended slowly to reduce jostling before landing in the patch, he put her down gently, feeling sad that he couldn't be that close to her again, but he quickly cast that off, he didn't need to feel sad around her, she'd pick up on that and wonder why... right now he didn't want to force his emotions on her, he'd tell her... in time, "Where to now then?" he asked curiously.

Simon pondered for a bit, then saying "Perhaps we should go to town first, get that out of the way so we can enjoy peaceful times in the forrest and other natural places, hows that sound?" Simon knew that being in a place like a town would bombard her with thoughts and whilst he would be keeping his thoughts to a minimum everyone else would be thinking up a storm, getting it out of the way first would be benficial, that and it would give Rebecca more time to appreciate nature once they got to a forrested area. But at the same time he wanted to make sure Rebecca agreed to that sort of plan before making any sort of action towards that, perhaps she wante dsome time amongs tnatuer to properly prepare herself for a trip into the town? He didn't know but he'd let her chose how she wanted to go about things.

Simon looked about liking everything, the shops seemed large and well stocked, the place seemed lively, a facotr he usually liked but he knew the more people there were the more peoples thoughts barraged Rebecca and whilst practice made perfect, playing with fire still could wind up with a burn, he really wanted to look inside the shops, but thought against it for now, perhaps he'd return here on his own some time, or just comewith Rebecca when it wasn't so crowded, he kept his thoughts minimal he made a few comments about the town, and how he liked it, but beyond that didn't say anything of interest rather he wanted them to get to the nature tour as soon as they could, of course he'd have to work it so Rebecca got everything about the town across to him before going away, and he wouldn't hurry her per se, he just wanted to be in a more comfortable environment for Rebecca... an odd thought indeed... he'd give it thought later, right now enjoying the time with her took precedence.
