Shinzo came walking down the hallway, a lit cig in his mouth. He liked the music room usually due to it being empty, so he could practice his singing. His voice was powerful and strong already, not to mention he was good, but he still needed to work on his opera tone. There was a song coming from his powerful esophagus that was telling the story from the lyrics of one of Beethoven's songs about an angel of death tired and lonesome with his own pity. As he reached the door, his song was cut off by a mere violinist. He wasn't expecting anyone to be here. " God...damnit.. " He took note of, a monotone looked of embarrassment on his face as his voice grew to his normal more high pitch yet powerful section.

*Anau looks and sees Shinzo* Oh...hello there *she sets up her violin and smiles* sorry did you want to be alone in the music room???
He readjusted himself, gaining his cool posture from before. " N-no...not at all...I just came to practice the acoustic guitar I left here...I'm still trying to learn. I prefer brass but I've been trying to indulge myself in orchestra related music. " He noted, removing a fine, oak-wood instrument with a glossy crafted figure covered in cloudy maroon paint on the sides with a woodening finish on the front and back while the blackened strings seem to shine as if designed to be slide up and down upon. He readied a home-made strap consisting of feathers, beads, and other things weaved in a nice leather and silk strap. He looked back over at the girl, noticing her instrument. " and I'm guessing you are also a player of strings...? " He asked, obviously expecting one answer.

Well yes I am...but I also play other instruments... *she smiles and looks at his guitar* Your guitar's very beautiful...its custom made isn't it??? *then Cerberus appears and growls quietly*

Shinzo nods, running his fingers across the cords and playing several notes. " Most of what I own, I try to have it customized myself. It's add a touch of my own personal flare. Plus, I try to gain a good bit of mastery of what I enjoy so I rather have it made like it was made just for my body, personality, and thought. That goes to pretty much mostly my weapons and clothing, but I guess this time it applies to this guitar. "
He puffed his cig, a cloud of smoke forming from his throat in the shape of a quotation mark as he noticed the creature.
" Strange. Normally there isn't animal life around here with extremely high intelligence. Praise goes to you then for having many gifts, including the most important: music. "
He noted, playing a small, comforting tune from a song he knew in the past.
Cerbeus please he didn't mean it... *Anau smiles then she touches her own violin and starts playing* *the sun starts to glow brighter and the flowers bloom...the melody sweet and pure calming Cerbeus and making her ruffled fur to go back down* *then Anau starts singing*
He noticed the growl of the animal, and expected what Cerberus mostly thought of his opinion on him. " Apologies, I did not mean to offend someone of your stature. I was only taking note in to the comparison. Usually creatures around these parts are rather, the majority, rather ignorant without matching to human intelligence. I was only trying to give you praise. Especially since you can understand me. "
He enjoyed the slight melody, clapping when it was over.
" Excellent. Where did you learn to play? " He questioned, a bit curious. Her style seemed foreign and was positive she did not learn from this school. Might leave some insight to where she came from.

*Cerbeus only huffed but Anau smiled* I learned in the Palace. My grandmother instructed me along side my older brothers. She was stricter with me though...But I loved playing...espcially the violin and the piano
As the heiress my Princess has been blessed with music *Cerbeus growled but Anau petted her*
I'm sorry she's just annoyed being called an animal
I'm a royal guardian to the Princess not some lonesome mindless beast
He nods. " The guardian speaks true. He and I bleeds the same as anything else. I should treat him with respect like he deserves. I don't mean for him to think I look down upon him. "
He nodded through the comments until he heard something strange.
" Uuumm..princess? Quite confused... I did not expect you to be of royalty. That's interesting. I was I could compare noble blood but I'm not exactly royal in any form. "
He noted, puffing another cloud of smoke.
" Just a poetic warrior I guess. Nothing more, nothing less besides backgrounds story."

Oh Cerbeus stop he didn't know. I'm sorry if it surprised you. But yes, I'm Princess Anau Salamarie but you can just call me Anau. There really isn't any need to be very formal *she smiles and looks at him* If you like we can practice together. I'd love to hear you play again. *she smiles and postions herself to play her violin again*
Shinzo sighed again, getting it all wrong. " Again, sorry guardian. =w= In mythology, I always imagined Cerberus being a male guardian. I'm just getting a lot wrong today.... " He nods both ways. " I'm not really being formal. I said poetic warrior for a reason. This is usually how I speak, when I'm not trying to speak lesser than my usual tone. War does that to you. " He smiles afterwards, puffing a cloudy musical note and positioning his guitar. " Of course I wouldn't mind...Although, can I know your name first? "

*Anau giggles*My name's Anau Salamarie...but Anau's fine *she smiles while Cerbeus growls in annoyence but keeps her mouth shut* And don't worry my twin brother does this to her as well...I'm afraid they never get along.
He shrugged. " Some things are meant to be. It's how it happens. Maybe if she is a good enough fighter as she is cute, then there is no worries. " I gave a small, joking laugh. " Anyway, I guess we can begin now, Anua. Just call me Shinzo. We can begin whenever. " He prepared a new cig after tossing his old one, he lit the new one with the yellow energy off his fingers and readied his instrument.

*Anau smiles and begins playing...this time though Shinzo sees a little girl playing with two boys. Both the little girl and the younger boy are about 4 and the other is 10* *he sees that the little girl is Anau and the boys must be her older sister* Memory Melody...a rare gift even among the Royal Family of Salamarie...what you see before you are her memories played by her music... *Anau looks at him and motions him to please join her*
Shinzo begins strumming note after note, using his skills of sliding, tapping, tapping his guitar wood, to play his emotions. He may not be able to make visuals, but the sounds he played described the bullets that flew, the bombs that, dropped, and the days that passed all the time he endured going through battle with others in the past. It wasn't sad, it was just intense it seemed. Such experience that had to be. He tried sharing his sound of a childhood past into the music Anua played, hopefully sharing a bit about himself.
