 "If you're gonna bend the truth at least make it realistic" Oukami grinned at him. "... Well I think it's about time I went looking for Goosie. She should have been here by now" He frowned.
"I'll go check if she's at my place... Catch you later" With that, he downed his pint and headed out, back to Gaia.

 Inoke giggled a bit, exchanging a quick glance with Kami. 'So you suspect much of that wasn't true?'

'R-right, you're right, of course.' Inoke sheepishly agreed, nodding to him before saying 'Well, ah, when I see you, then!' She hastily retreated before she said anything dumber, ducking away into the crowd and outside.

Oukami returned through the portal, sighing to see that it was raining, again. He began to trudge home, a sinking feeling in his stomach as he realised that his mother would probably kill him when he got home.

 Inoke had been meditating under the cover of a nearby tree, looking lost deep in her thoughts as she sat cross-legged with her eyes closed and her head bowed. Tomorrow she would begin the final stage of her training as a warrior and in spite of herself she could feel nerves eating at her tummy.

The dysadin hung back for a while, figuring that if he waited until his mother had gone to bed, he would not have to deal with her yelling. He walked past Inoke as he sighed, trudging through the mud.

The Dysadin opened her eyes, blinking a bit of rainwater that had slipped through the cover of the tree away and looking up at him. When she recognized it was Oukami she clambered to her feet and said a quiet 'Ah--you've come back?'
