Vincent

"Aimee I did mean the moon. We were together till just before the rise of the Mesopotamian Civilization. Then she noticed that without the movement of the oceans mankind couldn't survive." Vincent stopped her and pushed her into the wall. The damned jewel on her finger kept her from getting hurt. He wanted to slam her through the wall.

"She sacrificed herself so your race could live. Don't laugh again, please I like you alot." Vincent let her go and then pulled her along gently.

Aimee Lynne Cox

Aimee gave Vincent a queer look; she could feel the bridled rage in him when he pushed her into the wall. It bespoke volumes of his past millenniums of violence and mayhem. It was easy, when he was being the nice, little demon to think that he'd always been that way. Idiot. Don't let your guard down; all that stands between you and utter annihilation is a bit of silver and a semi-precious gem, and you only know that because he let you know that. You don't even know if it's true! Stupid, stupid, stupid!

"S...sorry. I, uh, I didn't realize that she was actually Luna. I thought it was just her name."

Aimee pulled free of Vincent's guiding hands, not wanting to be touched by him, ibidem. None too soon, they were at Aimee's next class and she ducked inside, taking her customary seat up near the front. For this class, she actually paid attention through the nonce of it all; probably because the professor was incredibly hot by her standards, but still. No idle doodles and sketching for new novels and novellas ever had a home in this class, no sir.

Vincent

Vincent sat down in the back, still simmering. He noticed the professor was very attractive. Aimee was enamored, and it made him sick and jealous at the same time. He wanted to suck the uppity professor dry so he turned to dust. He could do it, but then Aimee wouldn't talk to him ever. Vincent nearly dozed off, but he managed to keep a more accurate record of the lecture.

It ended and mercifully he didn't have to look at the teacher. Vincent waited for Aimee, but she was taking her sweet time.

Libby

"Yeah, sure," Libby said, waving him off as he left. What had she just agreed to? The demon walked away, shaking her head and headed for the back of the campus where her feeding crew was usually situated. It was one of the less preserved buildings on the school grounds but the misfit freshman managed to keep it from falling in on their heads. She arrived in fifteen minutes on foot at a very slow pace to knock on the door. The natural darkness that came with a lack of electricity welcomed her and she stepped in for a feast that could last fours if she so desired.

Aimee Lynne Cox

Aimee lingered afterwards, stealing a few precious moments with a bight mind like herself. All too soon, she had to leave again, falling in step with Vincent.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. But then again, you've got nothing but time."

She grinned at her ill-humored joke.

"Bad taste, I know. Professor Tellman is my favorite."

Seth

Seth barely paid attention to the simulation he had made. There was no point he had worked on it for weeks and knew how it would end, most of the time. As the class ended he moved on to Modern Military. One of his least favorite classes. It was taught by a Major Colonel, on special duty from the Navy. They went over every battle after seventeen seventy six. They were currently finishing up the Battle of Sigon. More like the siege of Sigon. This class to droned on and then Seth was on his way out, anticipating two hours with Libby.

Vincent

Vincent just made a non-committal sound at first then when they were alone, mostly he stopped her again. With ease, born of being a supernatural being he pulled her close to him, so he would whisper into her ear.

"I'm sorry about earlier, You were ignorant of my past, and thus I should not have done what I did. When you spend several thousand years with someone you tend to get touchy when she is knocked around." Vincent sighed as he let her go again and they were walking.

"She told me to not mourn her leaving, for she was not leaving. Just moving up. I would see her every night and she would see me. She told me to be happy, to live my life to the fullest and when I was ready I would pass on like the other four." Vincent shuddered at the thought. His three siblings, and his love. Passing on to safe the human race, or punish them.

"So forgive me?" Vincent looked over at her smiled warmly.

Aimee Lynne Cox

Aimee shuddered when his breath was suddenly teasing her ear. She closed her eyes, trying not to notice just how close Vincent was.

"It....its alright. No harm, no foul, right?"

And then he was gone; Aimee could breath easily again. I never going to laugh at him again. But how full could he live his life, anyway, chained to my finger after all? It was almost depressing.

"The others? Who are the other four?"

Vincent

"I told you two. Gaia and Volcanis. Mother Earth and Brother Fire. Aegis vanished a long time ago, before I met Luna. She decided that humans would need the wind on their side if Gaia and Volcanis were trying to kill them. Then Luna took the weight of a meteorite on her shoulders and flung herself and it into orbit. She was absorbed into the rock, softened it and controls it." Vincent wove his fingers into hers.

"We were free, and mischievous and evil and cruel. We kept the human race from evolving quickly, but then they started breeding faster. So Gaia and Volcanis took up their roles and have been trying to eradicate you ever since. Angered that homa sapien has ruined this Eden. Luna was the only one to take pity on you." They were outside again, the sun blinding him for a fraction of a second.

"So then what's next?" Vincent didn't want to talk about the past anymore, it made him long for freedom more and more. He was sure he use the loophole if it existed, but he liked mingling with the humans to much. Still freedom was only a hundred miles away.

Aimee Lynne Cox

Just like the Good Neighbors. I wonder if those are true, too, Hell, maybe all the other fey and supposedly faux creatures are real, too. Aimee grinned, the thought delighting her inner writer and story yarner to no end.

"Now? Now I have a forty-five minute break between classes, and then another quick little class, and then lunch. And then I'm done for the day; Lilly's done an hour or so after me, so we can be ready by the time she's done to go."

Vincent

"What could we do for forty five minutes?" Vincent placed his finger to his lips as he thought about it, he knew what he wanted to do, but he was sure she was put off by earlier. Still might as well ask.

"Well, I haven't fed in nearly thirty six hours. I could probably fulfill a fantasy of yours." Vincent chuckled as he pulled her out of sight and with a shimmer he was Professor Tellman, voice and all.

"Miss Cox, your grades are slipping." Vincent fought the chuckle down.

Aimee Lynne Cox

Aimee giggled, shaking her head.

"Not now, professor. I'm awaiting my boyfriend. He's about yay-high with the dreamest blue eyes you ever did see; they shift, depending on the lighting."

She leaned forward, kiss Vincent/Tillman gently, her hands winding around his neck.

"I kind of prefer you the way you were."

Libby

Libby wiped her mouth as she peeled herself away from her friends and mapped out a mental path back to Seth's building. It was not that long before she spotted him waiting for her in almost the same spot that they had departed at earlier.

"Hey," she called, jogging the few steps between them and landed with a jump right next to him. Any closer and she might have stepped on his toes, not that the bracelet would not repel her immediately. She did not bear a goofy grin or some other twisted facial expression that was supposedly worn by lovesick fools. As much as she wanted out of this relationship, she wanted in and that was the only idea keeping her from bolting as fast as her supernatural speed could carry her. "How was class?" However, her pupils lightened against her will so she closed them off.

Vincent

Vincent shifted as they kissed he deepened the kiss and his hands roamed around her lithe form.

"That's good, cause it took years to perfect this form. If you ever want me to change something, just let me know." Vincent picked her up bridal style and with a jolt they were in her room. It had taken just over a second and a half.

"Now how did we do that I wonder? Weren't we just outside. Might as well take advantage of the sudden time lapse." Vincent chuckled and he pushed her down onto her bed and began massaging her feet.

Seth

Seth stepped down and wrapped his hands around her waist, not pulling her close just wanting to touch her. He noticed her eyes shift colors, crimson to hot pink. She closed them and he frowned.

"Class was fine. Why do you hide your perfect eyes from me? Ashamed of the truth?" Seth leaned it and kissed one eyelid and then the other.

"No matter, let's go get something to eat. It looks like you itching to get back on Raiths." Seth chuckled as he wove his hand into hers and set a slow meandering pace back to the dorms. He had two hours.
