Sunray Tristram Saber just looked at him for a moment, his expression unchanging but his mind worked in another direction. One glance at Ophelia's blush confirmed that something was a bit off. "I don't think anyone would like to see her get hurt except Lucius. Me, you, her family, whatever." He wasn't going to jump to any conclusions.
He took a deep breatha nd huffed softly, crossing his arms over his chest and pronouncing, as if with great effortt,
"She is my friend. I won't let Lucius hurt her again. I don't want to have to choose between my brother nad my friend again. You don't know him like I do."

Saber was starting to grow tired of the guy but he wasn't going to retreat just yet. "Ok, you're her friend. You're worried. That's great. She's protected. And plus, it was her decision to stay here despite him being here as well." He then looked to Ophelia. "We can still leave, if you'd like."

"I didn't know," she said, softly, biting into her lip and shifting from foot to foot, meeting Saber's eyes, "But I don't want to go. He doesn't scare me anymore."
Bastian looked terse and thoughtful, but didn't say anything for the moment.

Sunray Tristram Tempest shook her head. "It's alright. Saber and I can talk another time. I don't think they'll be offended if we left right now." She gave Taji a small smile and a light squeeze. "Do you want me to take you home?" Taji said with a sigh as she forced a smile. I'm really sorry... I seem to ruin things in the most inopportune moments, she said with a small laugh.

Saber looked from her to the landlord then shrugged. "If she says she not afraid and wants to stay, we won't tell her other wise." He then looked back down to her. "Want to go back? I think we should check on those two."
Tempest nuzzled against her then shook her head a little. "You ruin nothing, love. It didn't seem like you had control of what happened so don't get upset with yourself."

Thank you... Taji said, not exactly sure what she was thanking Tempest for, besides simply being there for her. She held onto Tempest tightly. I love you...

"I love you too..." She smiled then started to stand, helping Taji up as she did so. "Let's get you home. How about something to eat too? Might help."

Taji smiled faintly, but warmly. That sounds good, Tempest-ai, she said lowly, moving to lean as close to her girlfriend as she could without knocking her over.

Tempest smiled to her, keeping one arm securely around her waist. "Would it be alright for me to use your kitchen when we get to your place? I may not be an excellent cook but I can at least make simple things."

Sunray Tristram Saber looked from her to the landlord then shrugged. "If she says she not afraid and wants to stay, we won't tell her other wise." He then looked back down to her. "Want to go back? I think we should check on those two."
"It's good to see you. It reminds me of the time before things got as bad as they did."
With that, he let go of her hand and slipped off, turning over in his head what on Earth he was going to do.
Ophelia watched him go, smiling, softly, a litle sadly, and shook her head, squeezing Saber's hand,
"Yeah, lets go back in."

Saber clinched his jaw when the landlord leaned in to kiss her cheek but he continued telling himself that it was nothing. Without saying anything, he headed back inside, sighing silently when noticing his sister and her girlfriend had already left. He made a mental note to check up on them later. "I think I'll go back to bed."

She noted the tension in his voice as her throat tightened in anxiety. She nodded, gently, murmuring hoarsely,
"May I come too?"

"If you'd like to," he said while walking back into the bedroom. He didn't know exactly why he was feeling ruffled or annoyed. He shouldn't be yet he was. Pulling off his shirt and pants again, Saber dropped back onto the bed, not bothering with the covers at the moment. He just needed time to sort out his thoughts.

She watched him go and sighed, heavily, muttering,
"I see. Right."
Instead of following him, she kicked off her boots and took a seat on the couch, stretching her legs out. After a moment, she tugged the throw off of one arm, and cruled up between the arm and the back, closing her eyes,but noot planning on getting any sleep.
