Want honesty about how I feel now that I've come to find viictoria is a prit [Sorry. D:] and, well pretty much, an art theif? Prepare for a rant. A long, mean one. Because I am thoughroly [I CANNOT SPELL THAT! xD ] fed up with all this elitist crap. This will be just like that rant I made when people were picking apart another members outfit because it wasn't 'Loli enough'..BOLLOCKS!!! D: [Screaming/flailing/other stuff like that.]
OUTRAGED! D:< What kind of sadistic fool would steal pictures just to make fun of them?! It sickens me at how cruel humanity can be, but alas. I do suppose it's what also keeps us Loli going; trying to live up to the integrity and all that other stuff. ^^; Anyway~! I HATE THAT SITE AND EVERYONE ON IT!
Seriously. Elitists are at the bottom of my respect meter. [Unfortunately, so is viiictoria, now that she did that to us.] Really now, How could she STEAL pictures, just for the sake of makign herself feel better? Trying to be better? In no way is bashing others going to help your own self esteem. In the long-run, you're just killing your own esteem. Trust me, I've delt with bullies and Elitists long enough to know what they do and why they do it. Picking apart others, bit by bit, making them feel degraded. That is the LEAST Lolita thing a Loli could ever EVER do. Isn't it supposed to be about the innocence, cuteness, and sweetness/what has you? Really, folks, Think about it..
I'm sorry for bashing. I just hate to see poor lolita being picked apart by the big bad elitist snobby prits who just...ARGH. [MEAN! ;o; ] So they tried! So what? ThePantiChrist even said that her photoshoot wasn't lolita. But decora/FRUiTs. I am so mad/upset/sad/blah. I hope someone talks to the LJ owners about that site and how they are stealing pictures just to degrade others.

wow alot of stuff has gone down! raining blood. thats a kind off cool picture. i think you should have taken off the tee shirt under the corset though. the shirt killed it a litte. and... what shoes are you wearing? i cant really see. your price looks KICKING. and im just so jelious you have photoshop just something to say about victoria and ********; wow if my outfit was so bad how come I never ended up there? i mean come on i did the atrosity of not mentioning my lolita was casual and my skirt was a tad short! please someone put me on there i want to read all about it. pic links. please im begging. I wonder if you can get people banned from Gaia for harassment if they take your photos from a closed guild and post them elsewhere?

thanks guys. you should see the bad pics of me though. i have an unusal face so it either looks attractive or grotesque. i just choose to post the nice ones whee
yeah cat disection is pretty cool ecpept picking at the fashia is so annoying. like when we skinned it and were are peeling it away to see muscle definition. annoying! just a heads up for people who havent done it yet, dont pick a fat cat. try to get a lean one. out is a litte clubby in areas but this one group got a HUGE cat and trying to see the adbonimal muscles is pain!
i really wouldnt mind being posed on the cumminity, i mean come on my outfit is not great but its not too bad. tell me what you think, honestly its real hard to hurt my fealings. ive been made fun of all my life.i think the wost thing about my outfit is the back pack with my stuff is covering my beauitful sleeve ruffles and i hate those shoes. in fact i just sold them days ago. i have more maryjanes if anyone is intrested btw.

I don't think there's a written rule about it, so I don't think so. ): But it is technically theft, so it might fit in under a rule that is there. I'll remember to get a skinny cat, thank you Cloudy. ^^ Your outfit isn't that bad. It may have worked better if the skirt had been worn longer and if you'd carried a purse instead so the backpack didn't get in the way of the ruffles. But nothing else much.. just a few extra accessories would have done it well. (: Maybe try a headdress and pinning on crossover ties to your top? Your necklace is very cool, though. ^^

Unfortunately for the guild, she is now unbanned due to some silly thing with the mods. I hope she gives up her stupid antics. =/ Saddening really.

On another note, I should post a little update of myself. I used to have waist length hair but I got the courage to cut it to my shoulders last week. ><; It's so cute, I love it, good with pigtails. ^^
It's a little messy in this picture though. I need to get my digi workings again.

HEY GUYS!
I apologize for posting you, but maybe you will think twice before dressing a certain way and calling it lolita. To you it may just be a lacy fashion but to me it's something I really hold dear to my heart. I have dedicated myself to this clothing and lifestyle, and to see outfits that resemble nothing lolita, are poorly put together, and basically desecrate the name of lolita and everything my friends and I have worked so hard to achieve, it just seems to ruin it all for me. It's just sad really! Call me an elitist, it doesn't hurt my feelings, but to me it's just protecting that which I love.
It's my thought that whatever you do, you should put your heart fully into and give it your all. How can you HONESTLY look at... say... the Baby, the Stars Shine Bright website, (it's on the links page, there's no excuse for not visiting it) put on an outfit that look NOTHING like it, and call it lolita? And it you didn't claim it's was lolita in the first place why did you post it on a lolita community? It just makes me sad!
I understand that we cannot all afford or fit into brand. That is why you study the fashion more and learn how to sew. Which is how I started. Lolita is an EXPENSIVE hobby and you'd do well to understand that. Save your allowance, get a job, do SOMETHING but please don't try to pass off things that are not lolita as such because you're cheap.
I am going to make a page full of links and recourses for you ladies, and hopefully it will help you grasp the concept of what it really means to be a beautiful maiden. (kudos if you understand the reference)

*le sigh* it didn't hurt my feelings about what she did, but i still can't believe that she would take my and the other girl's picture off here and do that. confused i was seriously considering leaving this guild becuause of that, but since others in here seem to be so against it too and it seems like just her, i think i'll stay.

To make yourself look cool? Let your clothing do that, instead, as an example for us. Let your dedication to the lifestyle and your positive attitude inspire us, rather than snide remarks.
The next time you see something that you disagree with, tell us directly. I'm personally more annoyed by the fact that you joined a community, were praised and complimented, and then paraded your fellow members around to get giggles from other people rather of letting us know that you felt that way until after it became a problem.
All the same, it's over with. So. Hopefully this can just fade out.
[edit]: I apologize if this has already been said and addressed, but I wanted to say my piece and get it out. This whole mess has rather had me ticked off and I needed to just get it loose and let it go.

I knew it would get caught. :shrug: That's kind of what L_F is for. It's a learning experience. Besides, I'm bitchy. That's just how it is. Novala wrote an essay why a lolita should be protective of her self and her fashion, I'll post that too. There was just too much to deal with. I don't understand how much misconceptions can get SO out of hand when there are resources are all over the place, even in this community.

Novala Takemoto has mentioned in places, not just that one essay, that a Lolita must stand up for her fashion. However, his meaning is that if someone wants to make fun of you for what you're wearing, you need to stand strong. Honestly, though the context is rather different, aren't you and your community being the bullies here? We have a lot of girls here who haven't quite found themselves as a Lolita yet, are making the transition, or who simply don't have the money. If your family was poor to the point at which it was a strain to put something decent on the table every night, would you go out, get a job, then blow all the money overseas to buy fancy dresses and frilly outfits? I should hope not. Some of us have to make do with what we have, using what we can get. I feel so lucky because I know that there are such girls here, and they're still trying. And maybe we all can't afford a sewing machine, either. You have numerous brand name pieces, you're not overweight or have skin problems, bad hair, or anything wrong with you, really, except maybe you have the wrong attitude.
I am QUITE sure Novala Takemoto did NOT mean that, when you find a Lolita that looks like a cosplayer or who has gotten the fashion wrong, you should gather up all their pictures in your sweet and innocent 16,000 yen Baby, The Stars Shine Bright basket and slap them down for a crowd of unkind, snobbish, elitist pigs disguised in sweet ruffles to desecrate. If you feel so strongly about your love for this fashion, you won't do this because it won't help your cause at all. Maybe you can change... and do something that WILL help repair the problems that you and your community are seeing here... which is staying and helping others out kindly by giving constructive criticism and suggestions.
I know for a fact that Hotaru-chan wants to learn about how to become a good Lolita, and she's interested in Punk Lolita style. Perhaps you could help her learn.
