"I cant really believe it is your dad doing things from what I've seen before, he's more of creating darkness and mindling with the shadows, I dont think its him but something else." she said looking up herself had the slight changes since everyone started laughing their heads off.
Putting two and two together from all the weird things that had been happening there was no doubt that the positive energy the clan was giving was doing its part to make things better from the damage done from a negative energy. Hitomi looked around and saw Eve as she was amused from Drako's slight pout behavior at the fact he was being teased for something so simple but embarrassing on his part, it was apparently the laughing wasnt going to stop too soon since the woman seemed to have so many combacks to say back with some hitting the right nerves on the poor man.
Thinking about though the first encounter between Eve and Drako wasnt the most simple like any greeting should've been since the whole reincarnation thing was in play, he was so in his own little world at the time that only a good beating was enough to set him back straight with his head back on. In a way it was obvious that Eve had plenty to say back to him keeping it inside till the time was right to let all her thoughts out and from the enviorment now was right to say it all while the clan was almost in stitches for now and it had to continue.

"She sure is a firey one at that. Jeeze! And I thought I was childish. My own father, almost two thousand years old and still acting immature." Darien answered amused but Hitomi put him in his place.
Drako had a lot he had to put up with. He had not laughed since Scarlet had died so in a way it was a way of healing for him as well.

Drako spent so long feeling only the negative emotion anyone could feel and continued that bahavior the the brink it started to fester inside and in his mind only a few time of good memories would at lease put a smile on his face, but it wasnt enough to actually let it stay on for awhile before going back into a depressing cycle that was just hurting him more. Thinking about it even though he was being taunted by Eve it was definatly changing his mood a little more from showing an empty eyed expresstion, to actually showing a slight shine in his eyes thanks to memories of the past.
Just like the first encounter with Eve he had mistaken her for Scarlet right on the block since her personality was very close to hers in every way, so the taunting was something he remembered and could laugh at since in the past it was Scarlet that would be on his case whenever something bad happened or he caused some sort of trouble, the first reaction would be to rant on his case even though at times he didnt take it seriously and had to smirk at his wife's yelling tone, to the brink however when it goes too far he would be dancing around flames not to get burnt. It was those memories coming back that was bringing Drako into a lighter move though Eve wasnt Scarlet it was pretty close to the real thing.

As the laughter started to die down finally, Drako and Eve looked up after their little fight and just gaped in awe. The city was still rebuilding it's self but it had picked up the pace. What was more was that there was a sword that was wedged into the concrete fountain that was starting to rebuild it's self. Taking a double look, Drako gasped. It was the same sword that he had made for Scarlet so long ago and this time, instead of just haveing her name etched on it, Darien's name was etched on it as well under his mother's name. Pulling it out of the crumbling rock, he handed to to Darien who just looked at in question but suddenly understood as he saw bot his name and then his mother's name above his.
"your the next one Darien. You were chosen. This sword never lies." Drako gravely replyed.

For Darien it seemed like everything was going a little too fast in the short time both him and Drako were eye to eye which eachother, from been giving more detail of how his family was to now being chosen. Even though it was much and suddenly he undertood from how his father had said it that since his mother was no longer to take on the task fate had placed on the family, and it was time to pass the torch onto the next one in line to weild the duties with the former gone from this world. After having to watch everything that had happened and knew that something had to be done to put the balance back to normal, Darien nodded gripping the sword firmly in acceptance. As Dresden was coming back to life on its own time everyone else followed to look around them at the once smoldering city damaged by hatred, was coming back reverted into its more glorious look that everyone, Drako the most from years ago remembered vividly even with the pace slow to rebuild but the grim feeling that lingered thick in the air was dieing away and peace pushing its way in its place.

"This is our city now. We are in control of it. Alas, If choose to continue to fight, I will fight on my own. My own powers will not help us that much anymore."
Darien gripped the sword that his mother used and put it back in it's sheith. He then attached it to his side. "I know I had a safe house somewhere. It's a matter of if someone found it." Drako announched

He was definatly right on the nose on if it had been seen or not after everything that went wrong when the destruction began, many would be in sheer panic to try and keep alive from possible outcomes. Like any disaster those who were not prepared for the worse would try and seek refuge whereever they can find things to survive with, Drako on the other hand wasnt sure if his had been discovered and was resided with other occupants. At this rate it was best to try and survive a little bit till things were back to calm again but with how the group was looking, true they were a little more happier again from the small humor but like the realms before they all needed to set a camp for the time being and recover from anything from a wound to the lack of sleep that all were suffering from with the faces in the crowd. Since nothing bad was happening it was just the right time to recooperate before something else wanted to raise its head from the shadows and cause another problem, what needed to be done now was finding location.

"The city is ours. Feel free to make it your own. At least we will be safe here now." Drako answered to everyone. " Go ahead and make it your own. I have some unfinished business that I have to attend to though."
Drako reply before stepping down from the fountain and dragging Darien and Violet with him.
"We are going to have a family talk.....in private.....now." His words grew sharp in anger.

The two siblings just looked at eachother a little in surprised for being plucked as quick as they were, but at the same time a little spooked on what their father had to say if it was said in an angry tone. Not too sure what was going to happen in their talked they just noded in agreement and followed Drako where they were to talk in private about something urgent.
"This may a great place now that we can have some peace, but from his tone its something very important if he's dragging those two by their heels."
Hitomi said over to Eve when they looked over to where the family was going as the two of them went about to do as Drako said and make the city their own and get comfortable a little. Most of the clan members were taking the advice and spreading out a little more than their tight bunch, getting a little more comfortable from having to be scared but to be alright and secure. Before Hitomi walk off eve said something looking at the improvement that made her stay still.
"If everything is looking safe for now, how come the mute dancer never showed up after seeing Sara vanish."
Hitomi really didnt have the right answer since that was something she was wondering after finding the bruised rose she touched in her hair for security, but she just looked back at Eve with something.
"She is of Phamtronian decent so that's something I would expect from our mute dancer, who knows at this point it could be she thinks its fine and shes not needed or something is deep in her mind that she wants to take time away. What matters is that this city isnt what we just saw not too long ago but how its suppose to be, thriving with life and positive energy."

" I don't know, there's just something about her that screams warning but I will say nothing since Drako did after all tell us to keep our mouths shut."
She murmered back as she started to dissapear back into the city with it's tall towers and loud noises.
She wanted to know what was going on with the Rose family and she was determined to find out. As she quietly slunk along the tops of some of the buildings, trying to keep up with Drako and his kids, it proved fruitless as they went though an open portal that closed behind them just as quickly as it opened.
"Damm it! I knew that he knew I was tracking him." She muttered
"Actually, I didn't know you were. But, thank you for giveing yourself away to me." Drako smirked behind her with his hands folded across him.
"Eve, I knew that you would probably follow and that is why I even said that aloud. You are the only one bold enough to even try to face me. That takes spirit." Drako pointed out to her but then softened his voice to his normal speaking voice. Quiet, calm and musical.
" I have troubleing news that only you, violet, and Darien can know. If anyone else knows of this, our fight will be nothing and the lives lost will be all for nothing as well. Eve, I no longer have control of my own powers when it comes to chaos and controling Nocturne. They overthrrew me when I was with Sara. They made a bargen with her. Give me back my city without touching it and in return they would do what they could to prevent me from entering the battlefield. I fear that I am nolonger the leader that you want. I have nothing more than my powers as the reaper to help fight if I can even stand anymore."
Eve was floored. She couldn't even speak but just continued to look at him in shock.

She was looking for more of an explination but alas Drako was blunt to the point, and there was nothing else to say with his grim news. Because of the several egos pulling on his body his voice was silenced as another was doing all the talking, with the deal that was made. It was a little bit of an explination on how Dresden started to restore from everyone's happiness and not remaining a destroyed ruin, but now that was done Drako's words from earlier had changed from being the ruler of the rebellion as the strongest to only being more of an aid to the cause with the power of the reaper as his only arsonal. Eve didnt want this to be the thing to know about but what was said was said, and there was nothing that could change that. He did have a point knowing his knowledge if it was to leak out then the clan's already high hopes will fade back to thinking the fight is just leading them to their deaths....something Drako didnt want to happen being too close to the goal.

" I will still continue to fight but I will nolong have all the powers that I once had. I can no longer stand up to Sara. I can still take on Yuki but it will cost me dearly. As of now, I can only use my knowledge on the battlefield like I have done before. That alone should protect us." He answered her quietly while looking over his city from the rooftop. Planting his boot on the concrete wall, he peered over to see some of the chaos that had started to return to the streets. He sighed. " Same old, same old. You can't never keep the streets entirely clean anymore,"

As much as he would like to see the city back into a place anyone could live in peace, but with every city there is always a small handful of wrong doiers hidden in the dark that still keep something going to cause a problem. Sure when Dresden was in ruins it was a criminal's playgroud to take control over anything that was still left, but once it was back to being uniformed and intact, it wasn't enough and the same old things still went on like they always did. As much as Drako tried to keep the city stable and in control with his own problems on his shoulder, but not everyone thought eye to eye on keeping the city a well known place of living in harmony. Eve watched the rooftop veiw herself being able to spot a little trouble happing that was almost like seeing it it in her past before of the dog eat dog world she had to live in as being a survivior than a victim. As much as she wanted Drako to be in the fight he was worn out, almost to the brink of using whatever knowledge and power he was able to keep.

"So what do you want me to do then? If you say you can't fight anymore than what chance do we all have Drako?Your not giving us much options other than to live within this city. You and I both know that the world is splitting apart from within." Eve snarled in outrage at him.
"Do you not think that I know that? I have been fighting her ever since she murdered my own wife right in front of me. How do you think that feels? I have lived for almost three thousand years and many more because I can't die. I don't have the precious gift of time like everyone else has. That was stripped away from the moment Sara entered my life. Life's not fair Eve! It never was. I have lost more than you will ever know. I have seen my friends grow old and give up their spirit. I have seen countless battles, I have seen it all and watched it all. I want to go. Oh if only you knew of how much I want to just finally be at peace." Drako finally vented in a fitful rage. His anger growing by the moment. Eve only stood there and took it. She knew some of it was true but other parts, she could he needed to vent.
"If you want this so called peace, how do you intend to bring it when there really is no peace. It's all fake Drako. You can't keep letting people live in a lie." She threw back at him.
" I never said that I wouldn't fight. I just don't have all the power that I use to. I'm not much stronger that Queen Yuki is right now. But, that is where Darien comes in, if I had known that he had survived I would have done everything to protect him from this fate but I now have no choice. He has Scarlet's powers and only he would be able to challenge her I'm afraid."
His voice toned down a bit as he tried to get his mindset back.

There was so much going in his mind at the point that the extra two cents wasnt much help coming from Eve with her own opinion on the situation. True, Drako knew what was happening and wanted to just solve each and every problem, but it wasnt in his favor this time since everything changed while other sudden changes were brought from the shadows. All he wanted to do was let everything just be back to where it was in the beginning, but to get tat far there were things that needed to be done wether it was planned or just came with fate. With barely much power anymore being able to fight would cause more problems with Drako since he wasnt as powerful as he was from all the strain his body had gone through, till he only hadenough ability just like his friends had almost close to being equal with power, if not a little more by a touch.
Before going out of the quells it was told that it would be Scarlet versus Yuki with one last fight to end all fights, but with her spirit gone the one to take the plate was in question many times till it seemed like fate had another thing in store just for that. Like he was thinking about Drako would most likely see Darien being the one to be in Scarlet's place to fight, with the fact that he did truely have the abilities she had and the ability to do the task that Scarlet had left to do to keep the balance on the universe. It was just a matter of time and what was going to happen that would tell. Eve wasnt sure what he was thinking but just listened to him as his composure started to calm down from his rage fit.
