Kai was sleeping soundly, his head leant against the wall of the plane's cabin, breathing deeply. He shifted slightly but gave no other indication that he had heard or felt anything different.
Kisa's eyes met Taki's silently in a challenge. Would you ever let him get away? She had already buckled herself in and so was just waiting for the plane to land.

Next day at School
Brooklyn tried hard not to look for Bryan as he walked into the school gates. He tried not to scan the crowds to find the familiar lavender hair, towering over the rest. He tried not to look for the telltale partings of the crowd indicating Where Bryan had been moving. He tried. And failed.

Bryan moved through the corridor slowly, not in a real hurry to get anywhere. The real Kisa hadn't shown up yet but it hadn't even been a day yet.
He frowned and looked around. No sign of Tala or Brooklyn either, yet.
~
Taki looked away from Kisa and at Kai. Still asleep. Peh. He got up from his seat and nudged Kai. "Hey," he said trying to wake the other up.

Kai inhaled sharply and looked over at Taki groggily. "What?" He asked, looking dully at Taki through sleep-filled eyes.
Kisa hid her excitement at finally getting back to Russia under an iron curtain of self control. She sat perfectly still in her seat, confident that Taki had gotten her message. Whether he chose to follow it or not was in his hands.
~
Brooklyn slumped when he couldn't find Bryan. He had sent Tala home to go and find clothes for himself to come to school with. He didn't know whether the redhead would actually turn up to school though. Brooklyn had a feeling he needed some alone time. A lot of it.
Brooklyn began to try to make his way through the crowd without stepping on anyone's toes or getting in their way in general. After about 5 minutes he had made his way through 10 metres or so of the crowd. this isn't working he thought grimly.

Bryan slid out of the flow of students and wandered over to his locker. It was too early to get anything out still so he rested his forehead against it, not minding how cold the metal was in the morning.
~
Taki frowned at Kai. "Buckle up. We're landing soon and i don't want you flying around the place when we do." Ok, so flying was exaggeration but it got his point across.
He moved back to his seat and buckled his seat belt up. He could feel the plane slightly descending and waited for his to start popping. I hate flying.

Kai did up his belt, looking at the window sleepily, interested despite himself. "So. How are we doing this?" He asked. "I doubt we're just going to waltz through the arrivals lounge, are we?"
Kisa shrugged. "I don't care. I just want to go home"
~
Brooklyn eventually opted for tunnelling through people. He got through the bulk of the crowd and began to move through the schools halls on automatic. It really shouldn't have surprised him that he ended up in front off Bryan's locker.

Bryan stayed in the same position for a few moments before turning around and leaning his back against the lockers. He opened his eyes and blinked at the sight before him. Why was Brooklyn standing right there?
~
Taki looked up. "They have an arrival lounge here?" He mentally slapped himself. You idiot. He shook his head.
"Well unless you wat to come calmly, which i doubt you will, i'm going to have to tie you up and lead you through the place." God that sounds bad.

Kai's eyes narrowed. "You are not tying me up." He said slowly and definitely. "I can't believe Biovolt didn't come up with some other way to get through this." He said, glaring at Taki.
~
Brooklyn blinked when Bryan turned around. "H-hi." He stuttered, looking down at his feet.

Taki rolled his eyes. "There would have been handcuffs but I thought you would get the wrong idea."
He let out a deep breath. "And i don't think Biovolt has a very high opinion of me after i kinda yelled at the higher ups..." He said softly.
~
Bryan sighed. "Hey." He looked around the corridor, noticing that the other was alone. "Whats up?" He asked quietly.

"I missed you." Brooklyn said softly, covering the metre or so between them and embracing Bryan tightly, burying his face in teh Russian's shoulder. He had had far too much time in the last night to contemplate how Tala was reacting to not having Kai there.
He didn't want to be in the same satate over Bryan.
~
"Taki! I thought we talked about this!" Kai said, smirking. "I won't run as long as you keep your handcuffs to yourself." He jerked as the plane touched down.
Kisa smirked quietly to herself, the prospect of getting back home clouding every one of her thoughts.

Taki smirked back at Kai. "I feel exactly the same way. Wow, we actually agree on something."
Taki waited for the plane to stop completely before getting up. A thought suddenly occurred to him. Are we actually fighting anymore or is this play fighting. He blinked and shook his head, unbuckling his seat belt, getting up and crossing the distance between himself and Kai.
"C'mon then, can't waste time. We've got things to do, people to see, lives to ruin. That shoul so be Biovolts motto."
~
Bryan blinked in surprise but wrapped his arms around Brooklyn. "I thought you'd be too angry to do this."

"Do what?" Brooklyn enquired, turning his head so he faced Bryan's neck. "I don't want to be angry any more." He semi-explained, hoping that that would be enough to get Bryan off his back.
~
"Emblazoned on all of the uniforms?" Kai asked as he stood up and stretched. He edged his way out of the seat and began to walk towards the hatch of the plane, confident that Taki would be following him, handcuffs at the ready if he tried anything.
Kisa stood up and walked behind Taki. It was still a short while until they would get to Biovolt. And then she would have to be debriefed. But she could rest easy in the knowledge that her mission was almost over. Small blessings.

Taki walked behind Kai closely, trusting that he wouldn't do anything stupid. "I was thinking more like huge neon lights everywhere."
He looked over his shoulder at Kisa and raised an eyebrow. Wonder what she's thinking about?
~
"Right." Bryan said. He looked around again. "So, where'd the other one go?"

"Tala?" Brooklyn asked. "He went home. I don't think he's coming today."
~
"Because that'd be a great way to advertise a secret company." Kai said, smirking, not noticing how their normal insults were turning into normal, everyday banter. He walked off the plance and on to the tarmac, looking around.
Kisa ignored Taki's glance and continued to follw him.

"Who said the Biovolt was going to be on the lights? I just like that phrase now," Taki countered walking up beside Kai and motioning towards some buildings. "This way."
~
Bryan nodded. "I don't blame him. He'll be alright on his own right?"

Brooklyn paused to think about what Bryan had said. "...I don't know." He said finally. He lifted his head off Bryan's shoulder and looked up at the Russian. "I don't think he'll do anything, if that's what you mean."
~
Kai inclined his head and began to walk to the buildings Taki had pointed out. "Do you know what's going to happen when we get there?" He asked in a conversational tone, his fists balling being the only outward sign of his nervousness.
Kisa didn't answer Kai, too lost in her own memories of Biovolt and thinking about how it might have changed in her absence.
What about Sacha? She wondered as she followed Taki and Kai. How has he changed?
