Yuzuki just stared blankly at Kazin as though he just suggested that they do something obscene with farm animals. "So... let me get this strait? You want me, the bottom of my class who failed the genin test about three times, to teach you how to do something that we learned in class? Er... alright. I'll see what I can do, no promises though..." Yuzuki got up and went over beside Kazin where she sat down and placed a kunai on the ground infront of each of them. "Alright, here's how I do it, manipulate the chakra into the tips of your fingers like you would a puppet master jutsu, they taught us in class how to make the string; by stretching out and extending chakra to the target object (aka; the kunai I placed infront of us). I found that alone, my chakra threads weren't really strong enough to manipulate the kunai... you may be different depending on the control and focus of your chakra... but for me, I find it easy to create two more threads of chakra and weave them together. I'm not sure how easy this is for you, I'm much more of a 'thread and needle' style chakra type in that I find it easier to manipulate my chakra on a much thinner and finer frequency. You may be different seeing as you seem to be more of a taijutsu type. I'd try it first with your regular chakra threads so you don't frusterate yourself trying to weave chakra threads if you don't have to." Yuzuki wove her chakra threads together to benefit herself and her demonstration. "Alright, I'll show you the rest of the binding and then I'll let you play around with it for a while... I don't want to confuse you, I'm not a teacher type genin, thats for sure." When Kazin indicated that he was ready for her to continue, she manipulated her woven chakra threads around the entirty of the the kunai, and used the chakra strings to lift it off the ground, she pulled her finger around like she was playing with a puppet and the kunai attacked accordingly. Yuzuki grinned a little wickly. "It's a great technique for a backstab, especially if your opponent has you pinned. While you distract them, you manuvour your kunai into place and then unleash it on them. Either they'll get out of the way and set you free, or they'll get a few kunai in their back, either way it will benefit you."

 Kazin nodded and started to understand. He had to think back to his academy days to remember the techniques. He gave a small chuckle, and rubbed the back of his head. He was kind of surprised that he had forgotten such a basic technique. "Well, I think I can handle it. I guess I just didn't think of it that way. I actually have a pretty good knack for controlling chakra considering my taijutsu technique actually requires me to concentrate my chakra to the tips of my fingers to attack the chakra network directly" Kazin said as he pulled out one of his axes and laid it on the ground in front of him. He started to focus his chakra into his fingertips. As he felt the energy flow to the tips, he tried to focus them into one large thread. He led the thread from his hand to the handle. As it connected, he started to control the axe from the distance. As he did such, it almost seemed like a light-bulb flickering on in his mind. He nodded towards Yuzuki and felt the wave of accomplishment wash over his body. He dangled the axe, and started to retract the axe from his hand. He started to move his hand a little more vigorously to see the strength of his chakra threads. As he had predicted, they were pretty good considering his decent chakra control. "I think I have it now" Kazin replied, "I think I can start working on my basics. I just needed to better understand the basics before I could really grasp a hold of the ideas. Thank you, I really appreciate it."278 Axe Threads Rank "D" - {250/250}[Obtained] Axe Threads Rank "C" - {278/500}

Yuzuki watched with distance in her eyes as Kazin almost automatically created those chakra threads and began to play with his axes, combining them with his chakra strings. Yuzuki fought back a howl of frusteration as she watched him work his new technique. Gods, it took her hours to play around and get things right with those chakra threads and about the same amount of time to get her kunai off the ground with them. She had to put so much effort into teaching herself and learning the technique, and then to see Kazin just... do it... she sometimes wondered what the effort was for, and why she bothered at times. Yuzuki forced her gaze into the fire, becoming quiet as she watched the dancing flames. She wondered if Kazin was the Genious type, where it seemed like everything that he touched just came naturally to him; people like that aggitated her to no end. It was safe to say that she was jealous of those people, they were the reason that she sought to be powerful on her own, it was there lack of effort that made Yuzuki doubt her abilities as a Kounichi and even gave her pause for concern about her own goals. Yuzuki looked over at Kazin at the corner of her eye. Before her face soured, she raised her face shield over her nose again and stood up. "That's great, Kazin-senpai. I think I'm going to go to bed soon. You can wake me up when it's my turn to take watch, alright?"
Yuzuki body flickered to a tree, not far off from where David was nesting, high enough so that she could keep an eye on the camp but stay out of sight for the most part. When she got to the tree she slumped into the craddle of some branches. She snuggled down and raised her chin to the stars above and gazed a the few that poked through the tree branches. Her eyes softened as she thought back to the times that her father would take her out and show her what constilations were which, to this day, she could easly find the north star, and from there she could get her barings. She closed her eyes and tisked silently to herself. She felt like she was starting to get weak or something, thinking back to the past and feeling nostalgic all of a sudden. The band proved to be their own people, they had been having a conversation until she came in and then all contact seemed to stop from them. It seemed that their talk was boy talk after all. It almost felt like her outlook on things soured the thoughts of those around her for some reason. She was entitled to her own thoughts and feelings, was she not? It was almost at that point that things seemed to soured towards her. Pft, typical... if something didn't fit into the mould it was outed.
Yuzuki rolled over slightly in her tree, turning her back to the campfire so that the dancing flames wouldn't bring her gaze and stur more of her memories and inner insecurities. She strangled that part of herself and forced it into submission. She steeled herself as before, nothing was wrong right now, she was in a mission right now. That was all that matter. The success of the mission and the crushing of any competition that stood in the way of her goals. The Band members desolved back into clients once more and their faces were replaced with an envisioned, featureless mask. But enough of that, she used a good percent of her chakra today from the summoning, it seemed that summoning used up at least half of her chakra. Keishi warned her about that, but it was still a tool that she was going to use regularly, the more she used it, the more she bonded with her summons. The more that happened, the more they could learn from each other. It was the same with her team mate. Though, she wondered how quickly- if at all- she would be able to learn that form of Taijutsu that Kazin was going to teach her. She would just have to try and see. She wouldn't hold her breath, she wasn't sure what it entitled, and from what Kazin described, she might not be able to match the speed needed to pull it off. She wouldn't know till she tried, really, but that was after the mission, and if the Raikage didn't have another mission lined up for them right after.

"Alright. Thanks again Yuzuki, I appreciate it" Kazin said with a deep smile. Kazin looked around as everyone settled in. He was gonna have to stay a little more alert. He straightened his focus and gathered his chakra around his eyes. Byakugan The area's scenery rushed into his vision. Kazin saw the other five's chakra networks as their positions were scattered around the camp. After a few hours on his watch, Kazin deactivated his Byakugan and jumped up to Yuzuki to wake her up. "Your turn," Kazin said as Yuzuki's eyes blinked open. "Wake me if you need anything." Kazin jumped to a nearby tree and settled in, waiting for the morning to come.

When Kazin stirred Yuzuki from her sleep, she gave a soft, airy groan as she pushed herself up and sat quietly for a few moments while she collected her thoughts. She looked around from her position before lowering herself to the campfire. After putting a few more logs on the fire to bring it back to full life, she sat with her back to the warmth. She was cross legged and in a meditative postion, she closed her eyes and concentraited on the sounds around her, it was pretty late, so she wouldn't be able to see anything all that well anyway, if she toned out her eyes and concentrated on the noises around her, it should do a better job, if she heard something, she would certianly look for it, but until she had reason too, she wouldn't distract herself too much with flickering shadows that the fire may have cast or that her imagination spun to its own liking. She briefly opened an eye an looked over her shoulder to see where the bandmates were, she was really starting to think that this was going to be a waste of time, truthfull, it was more than obvious that the band didn't need them at all, with their level of skill they could more handle themselves, and the presence of two genin was something more akin to a joking jeasture than anything else. One could even go as far as saying it was insulting for the band members. Yuzuki gave a bit of a defeated sigh too, normally missions seemed to be about building up a team... but so far, Kazin and Yuzuki learned that they were just two totally different people, Yuzuki had no idea how to approach that. She was pretty proud of herself for allowing the group to see that much of her, and it ended in a souring of what little relations that she had with her 'team' of Kazin. Next time, she would most likely keep her opinions to herself, like she usually did concerning said topic.
Guard duty... how boring.
Especially when there was nobody to talk to, she wasn't sure what to think about Kazin, and that made things awkward for idol chatter. That and he needed his sleep too, if there was one more member of their party, Yuzuki might have suggested that their shifts over lap with each other so that one could keep the other company while the second got their head in the game, but having to split the night up like they had, it wasn't going to happen. She wondered how long it would take the band to get to where they needed to be? While they were doing their duty, she felt awkward asking for some training time, they were the mission, after all. Yuzuki opened her eyes slightly, when she got back, she made a mental note to ask the weaponshop if they had a pair of bladed fans. Then... she might actually play around and teach herself a form of wind jutsu. She was told that was her type, but she never did learn any. Strange, and perhaps a little sad that. She wondered if any of the band mates knew wind jutsu, maybe she could get some pointers on what to do, not having done an elemental type jutsu before. Well, maybe not, at least not till they arrived at their destination.

╔═蓮 新潟════════════════════════╗ Mood: Don't care enough to have a mood Doing: ...Not much Status: Workin for the Udai Council Location: Somewhere on Earth╚════════════════════════蓮 新潟═╝Ҋecromancy? Wasn't that having to do with raising and/or controling the dead? Apparently one of those old sayings was right. Nothing was impossible! Well, there were a million "old sayings" and a lot of them seemed to contradict one another, or so Ren had found to be so. "There's no such thing as true immortality" -well what about now? Apparently there were several of them! "Nothing can bring back the dead" -something told him that Zhang Guo would have something to say otherwise. Even if those two sayings were true, they'd contradic the phrase "Nothing is impossible." Ren's mind wandered fleetingly over all these thoughts and he filed away in his mind the information given to him while he followed Denrei through the trees. The mist didn't hinder the grime-coated boy one bit. He'd been traversing through denser fog since he could walk. Everything short of that was a stroll in the park. Neko-chan never seemed to have much trouble either, not that this mist was at all troublesome. For a short moment, Ren was kinda glad to be taking a little boat ride. It might give him a chance to get some reading done. He wanted to finish one of his manga, and he also wanted to get started on this other book he was really looking forward to reading. This one actually wasn't a work of fiction. It was a book on the philosophy behind a different series he'd read. He like reading philosophical works on the occasion. They gave him a little insight on all sorts of things.... like why people bothered to feel things and how those feelings worked as far as reasoning went. It hardly helped his understanding at all, but he was hoping eventually one book would set off a 'switch' in his brain. On that other note, even with necromancy sounding like something out of a horror/fantasy/sci-fi book, he had once hear of some sort of forbidden jutsu allowing that to work.... at least he was pretty sure he had. It was probably one of those things a teacher or classmate mentioned once then never spoke of it again. It was still kinda creepy though, to think that the dead coming back was even plausible. Ren's rule of thumb had always been- safest place to be was in a graveyard. Everyone was dead, so they couldn't hurt you. But it probably didn't matter much since, as Denrei had said, he hadn't been seen around for quite some time. But on the chance that they did run into him, the info was still in mind. Landing on another tree branch, Ren pushed off and lept to the next. It was a bit out of reach, so he held out his arms, grabbed it and swung himself over to the next. Neko-chan had just jumped for the next lowest branch and was soon back at Ren's side, jumping completely in-sync with him.

TATSUYA MIYAKI See the lightning in your eyes...
Tatsuya was a bit taken back by just what the three immortals seemed to be doing, but he didn't have much time to comment on it before he had to take to the trees. These Immortals seemed to be abusing the power they had to benefit themselves, something that in a peaceful world could set into motion such horrible things. "I understand." The comment more than likely not needed at all, but it helped Tatsuya drive the information into his head while the trio traveled to Kirikagure.
See them running for their lives...

Yuzuki sat on her scorpion mount and let it carry her through the forest towards their home. She shifted slighty till she found a comfortable spot to rest and keep her wounds from getting more intense. She would rest, for the night, then hide in the daytime, when night would fall she would summon her scorpion allies again and continue on during the cloak of darkness until she got home. She doubted highly that anyone would be stupid enough to attack someone on a giant scorpion. She would still be cautious, she wasn't stupid either, and she would find a cave and have her scorpion stay with her while she rested. She would push her mounts if need be. He objective was to arrive safely and alive. Intelligence was needed as well as caution. Even more so, especially now that she was in her condition. She slowly prepared some exploding tags around kunai and slowly unraveled some wire, as well as prepare some smoke bombs. She would assist her scorpion if need be, hopefully that would be more than enough.(Chakra Count: 1/9* *Penilty due to injury)

Yuzuki's first few days were a bloody misery as she rotated her rest time with her summonings, the first few days of rest for her were filled with agony and bloody discharge from her lungs when she coughed. After the first couple of days she started to feel a lot less stiff and wasn't as pained as she once was. She continiously refreshed the summoned scorpion that she was using as her mount, she summoned a new one after the first full day of rest turned into night, it was the size that she was use to, large enough to bring down a horse like Keishi taught her, it was a constant draining of her chakra, but she felt it was worth the sacrifice, not only did she travel faster that what she would be doing, but it was a deterant for would be robbers. Nothing said 'zog off' like a large black scorpion with a shinobi ridding ontop of it.
Still, she was tired, and though she didn't feel that her wounds were going to kill her anymore, she was pretty sure that they were still serious injuries, if it wasn't for that sand ball that she was wrapped in when she hit the ground, she would have kacked it for sure. She wondered how Shukaku was doing? She was rooting for him as long as he was a threat to the Leaf Village and offered the possiblity of war between the Leaf and the Sand, which would quickly spread thoughout the other nations. Desperation gave way to new advances in technology, and after the wars were put on pause a while; they would allow humanity to enjoy the fruits of their evolution. Someone like that Mutt would never understand the reality in which she was helping the human race, she was so focused on a false reality where people all held hands and sang happy songs and wore silly hats that she couldn't see what humanity really needed.
She should be home soon, within a couple of days or so, she had stopped at some water and got the blood out of her eye so she had full vision again. Now... what was she going to do about that mutt, she foresaw her becoming a pain in the side and an obstical to her future goals. Perhaps she should tell the Raikage that it was the Leaf-mutt that broke the seal and attacked her afterwards to try and detere her from returning and reporting her. The only problem with that is that it would be her word verses a few others and it would likely backfire when the Raikage caught her bluff, she decided not to say anything, if he asked about her injuries, she would keep it vage, as to where Kazin was... damned if she knew... she wouldn't have been able to give a difinative answer one way or another on that one. Maybe he stayed behind to help the Leaf. Though if he did, it would confuse her seeing as he was so uncomfortable with the place to being with. Ugh, she had no idea one way or another about him. Whatever he decided would be so. Right now the best thing for her to do was make the Raikage think of her as a valuable weapon so she could continue to get boons from him and get stronger till she could eclipse his power. She'd work in the shadows and continue her attempts to do what she would have to do. Prudence was necessary.(Chakra Count: 1/9* *Penilty due to injury) ((Headed Home.))

☽Madaraki Shiso☾ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ "Fly me to the moon, and let me play amongst the stars..."
Already in the depths of the forest, and Shiso was already starting to feel the tension and anxiety of having to lead a group on a mission. Perhaps it was the responsibility that was killing her... Or the idea of something bad happening if she didn't do something 'the right way'. The whole thing was just biting at her self-confidence. She knew she needed to toughen up and stop whining, but leadership took confidence and know-how; this was something her brothers would know how to do. Not her. She then glared down at the dirt between her toes and sighed, rubbing her arms as she fixed the mask on top of her nose.
"I hate walking..." chided Shiso as she stared back down at her sandals and dusted the dirt from her bright pink pants. "The air's killing my hair... A-Anyhow, the Leaf village should be a short walking distance compared to Suna. I doubt this 'Udai council' will be expecting us..." mumbled Shiso as she continued walking her way through the forest, staring up at the many trees and branches that hung above her head. She doubted they were listening to her. Or if they even cared, but the silence was killing her. She had to say SOMETHING that was... 'Comforting'.

If only I could see through the storm... Seo Himine

Seo followed close behind. He hated leaving the village. It was the only place where he was comfortable with his minor disability. He knew the layout there but the forest was a different story. Although the smell of the fresh air and the feel of the soft soil under his sandals made him feel at ease. he had already decided ahead of time that he would only wear them for no more than a quarter of the walk. It was much easier to walk bear foot plus it would let him take more of nature in.
Seo had actually been listening to Shiso but he was debating whether he should answer if he did answer they might end up in a conversation that led to him having to talk more. He decided not to care and responded to her statement of not liking to walk. "Well walking isn't all that bad the forest floor is soft and comfortable to the feet. these sandals might not even be on when we get to Konoha." Seo paused before responding to the second part of what she said. He placed his hands behind his head and relaxed. "The Udai Council was probably notified prior to us being called. If not the Raikage probably sent a messenger hawk after we left to let them know of our arrival. You don't really have to worry about much. We are all accomplished ninja. The Raikage wouldn't have gave us this mission if he thought something could go wrong." I really hope that I'm right. I don't think we can afford to fight at the moment. He only had enough time to grab three fire bombs on his way out of his small house this morning.
...I'd blow you away with my power.

Don't worry...♦ Yukai Okaeshi ♦ ==== ♦♦♦♦ ==== Yukai looked around, this place... it used to be a safe haven for her...now? not so much... it almost had an eeriness too it, she couldn't really explain it... her shoes were hurting, if she knew she would be going on any missons, she would have chose some different shoes, or at least a better outfit, she was a bit cold, but nothing she could do now. me neither. she simply stated to Shiso, she could tell she was a little on edge, but who could blame her, who could blame them? she was sure they were all a little bit tense at least, the prospect of war isn't exactly nice...
mmm... She nodded in agreement to Seo, Nemu would have sent someone else on this misson if he thought they were incapable of completing it, right? It almost gave her a bit of hope, either Nemu didn't see her injury, or he thought she could still be a ninja with her handicap, which means she must have at least a bit of potential...
I think as long as we don't run into any trouble along the way, we should be ok, it's not like anyone wants to hinder us, right? Nemu didn't say they would be any trouble did he? She reached for her parasol, and in one quick swing she opened it and used it to sheild the sun, it was hurting her eyes. she didn't think she needed to worry too much about trouble, the forest was vast, they would have to be very unlucky to run into anyone hostile... ==== ♦♦♦♦ ==== Just relax...

Yuzuki closed her eyes for a moment and gave a satisfied humph. "I had to work exceedingly hard to get were I am today, nothing was handed to me, and it frusterates me when people are just given something and take it for granted. Those type of people... they don't understand how the struggle makes us stronger as people, how it pushs us and shows us limits we would have never found before." Yuzuki humphed at herself again. "Then again, prattling on about it like that makes me sound somewhat concided and hotty, doesn't it?" Yuzuki paused to slightly adjust the container on her back again, careful not to spill the contents all over the forest floor while she found that comfortable spot. "Well, why not try back again one more time before you go? Maybe there will be a few genin looking for a chance to prove themselves. An originized group of genin should easily be able to take on whatever bandits may come after you. They'd be cheaper than the Jounin. I'll mention it to the Raikage if he calls be back soon, I handled a mission with just myself and my Jounin instructor before when bandits were involved, and I survived... ...bearly.... Yuzuki added in her head as a bitter after thought. Though it was true, if Mana or Kazin were there it may have turned out very differently, but they weren't... so it didn't.

Farmer
Am I getting smaller...
The Old man smiled slightly and nodded towards Yuzuki. "Thank you very much; I would be very grateful if you did that for me" The man and Yuzki soon entered what looked like a small field. "You act a lot like my Son; He was a Jounin when he was killed; but he never took the easy way out of anything" He said smiling slightly. "His Favorite saying was, Only those who Cross the line; know how Far they can really go" He said nodding slightly; It made sense to the old man; however everyone took sayings like that in there own way.
The Field that they entered looked Freshly plowed; and yet there was no farm animals to be seen; no large equipment like many people used. Only old fashion tools such as hoe's rakes, and so on. Even though it was a small field comapired to most farms; it still was a field; and plowing it by hand would be a very difficult workout for even the most in shape of Ninja.
..Or is this thing getting Bigger?

"Well, I can't promise anything, so don't get your hopes up too high. I will mention it to him though." Yuzuki closed her eyes again for a moment. "Your son was a wise man, or perhaps he was brought up right. Either way, I think you should be very proud of him regardless of his outcome." Yuzuki opened her eyes and began to look around as they entered the farming area, she could now see where the boy got his mindset from. There was nothing here that would prove an ease to the farming. It was so old fashioned, even for a poor farmer, then again she imagined that such tools were cheap, and for the poor farmers, it would be perfered over something that was more expensive and prone to break down or require more time and money than what it may be worth. Yuzuki wasn't a farmer, never was and never would be. So she didn't claim to understand the mindset of such actions and tools, still it was something to be admired. The old man must pack a pretty wicked belting with a cane if he could do that much work with nothing but a horse and a handplow... if he even had that... Well, whatever worked for them, she guessed, not her idea of how it might be done. It seemed like it would be a lot of work and time for something that may not be worth it. But it would teach things like patience and persurvierence. Life lessons that could be well learned by some of her generation.
