Alessa couldn't help but blush furiously when he kissed her on the cheek. "I-I have patrols to do today. I can't let the security around here drop just because today's the dance." she replied, trying her best to cool her heated cheeks. Nothing worked though, so he would be able to see the charming blush that covered a good portion of her face.

Now that she had finally found him when he wasn't busy, she was tempted to ask him about his recent behavior towards her; the whole thing about avoiding her. "Hey, Ace…" As soon as she opened her mouth, however, she closed it, afraid of his answer. What if he doesn't truly want me? What if he's just stringing me along, just as he did? Doubt and fear ate away at her mind, and Alessa gnawed on her lip. "N-nevermind… it's nothing." She bent over, picking up her sword from the snow, dusting off the ice that stuck to the cold weapon. "I should get back to my patrol." She said simply, keeping her tone neutral to keep him from noticing her change in mood.

"Huh, I see…" She replied to the choir director comment, her head off in the clouds already. Tyrek had been acting a bit oddly around her, ever since she'd gone to save them from that… place. He had said he needed to talk to her about something, but since he had been recovering, they hadn't had a chance to talk in private at all. What was it that he wanted to talk to me about…

Tsukiko's voice roused the black-haired girl from her musings, causing her to shake her head. "I'm sorry, Tsuki, what did you say?" Fyte gave her friend an apologetic smile, feeling horrible for tuning out her friend like that. As her friend talked about her being a witch and stuff, she couldn't help but laugh. "I'm not quite sure about the frills, but I might take you up on the sparkles/" she grinned, trying to imagine the dress the brunette had designed for her. It was a bit beyond her imagination, since she'd only worn a dress once or twice as far as she remembered. Just what would I look like in a dress…?

When they passed by another dorm hall, her friend mentioned asking Nemo to breakfast. At the mention of his name, Fyte couldn't help but blush lightly at the thought of him. "U-um… s-s-sure. I-If you don't mind him coming with us, that is." She replied, her blush becoming a shade darker. Holding up a hand, she started to head towards the dorm. "I'll be right back, okay?" Heading up to where she remembered his room to be, she knocked softly on the door. "Nemo, you there? It's me… Fyte. Listen… I was wondering… if you wanted to go to breakfast with me and Tsuki…ko." She called out softly, hoping that he'd answer her at least.

In a matter of moments she was alone again. Looking around it wasn't like anyone was caring enough to be up at this hour. With out realizing it she was thinking about the dream demon. She had the past few night,but she hadn't seen him. Tsukiko didn't feel rejected, if anything she just felt lonely. Maybe the connection between them broke, maybe she was broken. Crossing her arms over her chest she waited for Fyte and Nemo. Oh god, she was going to be a stupid third wheel. She hope she didn't ruin this for Fyte. Looking around there was no one to talk to. Even if there was, she was sure it wouldn't be who she wanted to talk to. No, the person she wanted to see couldn't see her. Then again she didn't even know if he would want to. This was how her thoughts went the past several days. Sure something was on her mind, but she didn't share the thoughts.

Trying to clear her mind, she knew Fyte and Nemo would be back soon. Maybe she could get away with acting dumb, its not like she hadn't done anything that would make him hate her in the past five days. The girl wasn't even paying attention to the cold outside. She had the power of snow, it was her birth right. She was also doing a horrible job on keep her thought together. She wasn't going to say it, she couldn't say it. Still she knew she missed him. No matter how hard she tried. Tsukiko was still a teenage girl with a crush. Snow fell in her hair, and on her bare shoulders. Shivering slightly a scarf and a cloak appeared around her neck. Only because she needed a distraction. It shouldn't be this hard not to think of a person, but it was. Waking up before dawn every morning, going to sleep late at night. Spending her time drawing pictures since she couldn't take any.

It was going to be fun getting through breakfast. Keeping her mouth shut would be fun this morning. Just smiled and nod no matter what was said. Even if it wasn't fair. That's just how life went.

They hadn't touched, but he could have sworn he felt her warmth. Some part of him wanted to have closed those few small inches to see if she really was as warm as he imagined. But then he pulled away, giving her extra space. Nemo wasn't familiar with girls and didn't want to scare, or offend her. Feeling more comfortable moving, he had started off down the hallway at a slow pace, making sure she followed with small sideways glaces.

Nemo stopped himself and looked over at Fyte as she advised him about his clothes. Dark gray eyes scanned over his attire before shrugging off both the tension he felt building and the acknowledgment that his sweatshirt and jeans weren't dress for snow.

"I'll be alright. I'm from Nome. Snow doesn't really bother me," he admitted shyly. It was the first time he had told anyone here where he was from. It seemed like an intimate part of himself, but he didn't mind sharing it with her. Somehow it felt ok to open up, if only a little around the air bender. He could tell she felt as awkward as he did, if not for the same reasons.

Ace pauses and tries to think about the easiest way to tell her about what happened.

At the same time Ace 2 walks up to Nemo and Fyte smiling "Hey guys was up? So are you gonna say yes for me taking you to the dance?" Ace 2 says waiting for an answer.

"Well Ace 2 as I am calling him is from an other timeline or universe where he and Fyte and Tsukiko and Ryo were dating each other while Nemo was dating you. Eventually he will return back there or they will come here. He does have some differences as the others will most likely have the same attitude problem. You see if they can't be with the one they like he will most likely try and eliminate the compitition and if that fails, well kidnapping is next I guess. Thats all assuming something happens to cause him to believe anyone is a competitor. But with Fyte I don't think anything will happen as Nemo is not the type to stand up to someone over a girl he is still trying to confess to."

Alessa had to make the conscious effort to keep her mouth closed as Ace told her about the parallel universe's Ace. "Who's Fyte? And who's Nemo?" She asked him, totally confused. All that she understood was that they were different people who she didn't know. Which made her wonder… What am I like in the alternate universe? Am I the same? Or… Her thoughts were interrupted as he brought up the possibility of a threat from the alternate Ace. Instantly she scowled; he was truly proving to be more of a handful than her Ace was already. "That still leaves the threat of kidnapping up in the air, and quite frankly, I won't have any of it." Alessa said firmly, crossing her arms over her chest. Was there seriously not one moment of peace on this godforsaken campus?

Nemo's eyes lit up with amusement at her statement. He should have known she lived someplace so sunny. It went well with her personality, he thought.

"Heh, no not all the time. Alaska has a couple or three months without snow, mostly in spring and summer," he explained as they walked down into the main lobby. "During those months, everything melts and becomes green."

Nemo's shoulders relaxed a little more as he talked, his nervousness and stuttering almost completely gone. When he realized this be paused to laugh at himself silently. Talking to girls wasn't that hard after all. At least once he got started anyway.

"Well, if you don't count the permafrost," he added with a shy grin.

"Hey guys, what's up?" Nemo turned his ash gray eyes towards the voice and his grin disappeared. It wasn't that he didn't like Ace, just that the boy in front of him didn't feel right. Maybe it had something to do with his power, the dreamscaper didn't know, but it made his skin crawl.

The short question/answer between Fyte and the double Ace had really thrown Nemo for a loop, though outwardly he looked unfazed. He knew that the time drifter was always this forward, from what other boys on their floor had said, but he hadn't known that he had taken an interest in Fyte.

Feeling slightly disheartened, Nemo stood silently as Fyte declined his request. Of course other boys like her, what wasn't to like? She was outgoing, uplifting, compassionate and by far the cutest of the girls he'd seen on campus. His breath tightened in a threatening manner, as his heart sped up a bit. He wasn't going to deny it, he did like the airbender. But that didn't mean that she liked him as more than a friend. Taking a steadying breath, he did his best to stay calm so that his asthma didn't act up.

'But,' he thought. 'She doesn't like Ace that way either, if she said no.' And that was an encouraging thought.

"I-I'm sorry Ace, but you'll have to excuse us. We're making Tsuki wait outside in the snow, and it's pretty cold out there." Fyte said, grabbing Nemo's hand. She gently pulled the younger boy along with her, walking quickly past the parallel Ace. She didn't look at him, keeping her eyes focused on the floor as she tried to get them out of there as soon as possible. She did, however, whisper one thing as she passed the vice-president. "I'm sorry, but I'm not the girl you like." Fyte had no idea what her alternate self was like, but she was sure that there were key differences between them. With that, she all but whisked herself and Nemo out of the dorm.
