Tyler looked at her and nodded a bit. She was right he was confused and didn't understand, he didn't know this wasn't a new idea or thought. "You've.... you've never told me that before.... I figured you would have said something to me... or anyone of us at some point.... but I mean if that's what you want... though you'd break a lot of men's hearts." He said only to chuckle a moment later realizing the accidental double meaning to his statement.

Beck ran a hand though her short hair and blew air out of her pursed lips. She wasn't sure on how to explain this, even to herself. Never having to have defended this feeling before, she was completely incompetent.
"And even if I was a guy, it doesn't mean I wouldn't want to date other guys, I'm still me."

Tyler nodded and smiled a bit more at her as he hugged Beck to his chest and held her. "Well, like I said its your call, I mean... what caused you to think about it?" He asked suddenly curious as to why she had wanted to be a man. OOC: Dragon, Asuka left a reply for David last page, and I said earlier I may want to bring in a second man to balance the girls, are you okay with that?

"I wanted to do the things you did, but without standing out. You know, like when you started football in middle school. I wanted to do that too... But If I had joined the team, I would have gotten hurt or judged, I've always wanted to be treated like a boy. Boys can have so much more fun."
Beck shrugged and thought about the electric shaver in the closet, if she buzz cut her hair.... no , that would be much to short, she would look alien. The young woman bit her bottom lip and took a deep breath.

"Alright, make that two medium lemon cones. Thanks."
David stepped up to the counter and slipped a five dollar bill onto the counter as he took the two cones from the woman. Carefully he licked his and held the other out to Sky. It was a pale yellow color and tasted creamy and sweet. More of a lemon custard flavor than lemon sorbet.
"Here you go Sky. Hope you like it."
He grinned and winked playfully, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen after all, she deserved everything he could offer her.

She merely stared blankly...rather angry that she hadn't reacted fast enough so that she could pay for it all. A frown curved her lips downwards as she wrapped her hands around the cone and licked at it.
"You know...I was supposed to pay for that." Sky told him, her eyes narrowed and glaring at him from over the top of her cone.
"You'd better let me pay for it next time."

Tyler looked into her eyes and smiled a bit with a shake of his head. "You really think its easy being a guy? Sometimes its not Beck, I envy you sometimes, as a woman you don't have to make first moves, no one will run up to you and ask you to do some physical task because you have a set of balls, ergo you have to be strong. Or hey Tyler, we may need someone to help us in a fight you'd be okay to come join in right if we need you?" He told her being honest about his experiences as a man.

I'd get to make first moves, and not have to be polite and ladylike about it, And people would ask me for help doing hard things, no one asks me to do that now, Someone might even want me to help them in a fight too like you said, Me!"
Beck used every example he had given her except in a way that made it sound exciting and interesting. She was clearly a lot more bright and alive when she talked about it as apposed to when she didn't.

"Oh, I'm sorry Sky. Did you want to pay for this, I didn't mean to annoy you, I thought it was polite for the guy to pay for dinner on the first date. That's what my Mum said at least, Next time you can pay though, alright?"
The glare odiously worried him, he thought that she might be really upset with him and he had better not screw up any more. which made him a little flustered and even more nervous.

No, not at all, she thought it was rather gentlemanly that he did and she appreciated it. Though she wished he would have allowed her to at least chip in.
"Don't worry...I'm not really mad David. Thank you though, for everything. Your mother obviously raised a good boy." Sky smiled sincerely and stood before him to give him short kisses on each cheek. Had it been just one kiss then it might have been misconstrued as romantic, the two kisses however, at least where she used to live, was a friendly gesture of kindness. She smiled at him afterwards and licked at her cone again.

David blushed in embarrassment and then in astonishment when the girl kissed each of his cheeks. he took a breath and another lick of his ice cream before moving towards the door so that they could eat in the park across the street.
"Thanks, only trying to help you have a good time Sky. I was a bit worried when I thought about you and Ty that you'd be brought down emotionally by him, he's going though a lot right now and you don't need to do that too. Ya know?"

Beck smiled and stretched her arms behind her head puffing her chest out as she stretched. This is why she hadn't told Tyler before, he didn't understand, and she couldn't make him understand.

It was rather endearing to her actually...she hadn't seen people blush often by such small things like compliments and kisses on the cheek. Sky pushed the door open and stood outside, the wind hitting her again. She was happy though, ice cream and a good meal...things really couldn't be any better. Schuyler looked towards David when he had told her his motive for taking her out. She WAS rather disheartened by Tyler's gradually dissipating time with her. It seemed that the couple hardly saw each other nowadays. The girl knew that Tyler was going through a lot, what with Beck's medical condition and what not. She was starting to believe that Tyler's having a girlfriend wasn't a good idea now.
"Well...thank you David. You made me feel a lot better and you don't know how much I appreciate this." Schuyler looked to David, her big crystalline blue eyes watering slightly.
