As he shook Leviathan's hand, Alias almost purred from happiness. Coming along nicely... He mused.

His eyes flicked over Annie. Not exactly a threat, but still one to be watched. "Ah, miss, you seem to mistake me for your... large friend, here." He laughed. "I have all the power I need. I'm not... after you, particularly."

This man wants more power... and the girl seems confident enough in her abilities. Take time to discuss this with him... and set the girl on the wretch? Or is that too forward?

No. He decided. I'll do it.

"Metahuman..." He pretended to muse. He was one, if not an offset of a traumatic incident of one such person. He whipped a newspaper out of his back pocket and tapped his forearm with it. He slid it up his sleeve after a moment's deliberation.

He smiled at Annie. "Most powerful, huh? You sound a bit cocky, you know that? Had a chance to prove it or two, hmm?" He reached into the front pocket of his jeans. "Funny, because this kid nearby was parading about, bragging about taking down some business honcho with his bare hands... or something like that... and calling himself everything short of omnipotent. Sounds like a bit of conflict." He took out what looked like a photo from a older camera, small sized with space below the picture for a label and looked at it for a moment.

Insolent fool...

His inward thoughts might've shown for a second on his face, but he smoothed his features out and held the photo out to Annie. It was Gray, taken what could be a few days earlier, a rare smile on his face as he walked down some street nearby. It was barely noticeable, but if you looked closely you could see a hint of ice on his hands, but the average person would bother not to notice.

"Strangely enough..." He spoke with the experience of a seasoned double-talker, hoping this would get the girl riled, "I think I saw him a little ways from here. Down near that old laundromat on Maple."

But his attentions had soon returned to Leviathan. "Perhaps we could find a place to, ah, chat a bit?" He raised his eyebrows expectantly.

He did purr, but only in his head. Absolutely wonderful.

I believe Alias is a little older than Gray, which really makes no sense, but I'm characterizing this as I go along. I believe I'll brush up on the character profiles, he needs to know what makes people... tick.
On that note, should I submit a "Villain" profile for Alias? Even though he's just a humanized reaction of Gray's to the meteor...?

When Lily said hi and complimented her on her "nice bike" she couldn't help but feel that it was forced not genuine. Trinity wasn't always the best about first impressions, either she'd get the wrong impression about people or she would give the wrong impression to people. When she heard the girl speak to her, she couldn't help but get the feeling that the girl only came over to find out what's wrong with her and why is she hanging out with a man like Lev. It didn't seem to be out of genuine curiosity about "who" she is more of a question of "what" by judging by her appearance. Trinity nodded just simply, to let the girl know she heard her and continued to head toward her home.

She was nearing home when Lev was acting funny. Trinity stopped, it sounded very dangerous, she was highly considering going home on her own as she remembered what Lev said to her earlier...


Thing's almost went blank and home when she heard the crash echoing from the alley. She clenched her fist before she started falling. This was getting too close to home, she began to feel that she would be responsible if trouble were to follow her to her own home.

Trinity watched as Annie ran into the alley at that point Trinity she hesitated questioning should I stay... should I go? Trinity's train of thought was interrupted by Lily,
Everything after that became muted not because she couldn't hear it but because she didn't want to. Trinity threw a deadly glare at her with her glowing eyes I'll show you who's pretty little head shouldn't be worrying. The girl knew that she was capable of something why would she treat her like a total pedestrian with nothing at stake. She drops her bike and heads toward the alley. Earlier she desperately did not want to show what she's capable of, but since the ruckus started close to home she may not have that option. She heads over to the alley to help Lev. Good man or not he hasn't yet treated her bad and right now he's the only teacher she's got.

Annie dropped to the ground, and began taking deep breaths, as she did so the air around her began to heat up. All the moisture in the air was to her advantage, it took seconds for acid to begin raining down on Leviathan. Perhaps she should have went for the water inside of him- but she wanted a confession from him.

Through clenched teeth she spoke, "Over 70 percent of the human body is water, though. Are you aware of what that acid raining on you would do inside your body. I can kill you in less than a minute. From what I've seen it is a VERY painful way to die."

Her vision was already beginning to go in and out, but she knew that the acid would burn on contact. It was only a matter of a minute or less before the acid would eat through far enough into Leviathan's flesh to bring out blood. Clenching her fist she forced herself to stay awake, already beginning to concentrate on the liquid of Leviathan's blood, "You... You have to the count of ten to get your bloody power out of my body. One..." She gasped for breath, "Two..."

Alias moved next to Lev, and quick. He murmured up to the giant's ear. "I'll take that coffee. There's no need be uncivil, now."
"People!" He spoke louder, now, but not too loud to be uncomfortable. Baptist preacher level. "None of us are any good if we're dead!"
Some might not have noticed, but there was a shadow falling across Lev's shoulder. Alias spoke quietly from that, a whisper audible to the man: Don't turn towards the voice. You won't be able to drain the girl's powers if she's dead. I've learned that much.
And for the record, He added, making himself clear, It's a known fact among... creatures of darkness that a man's heart is no less than thirty-five percent darkness. You can't imagine the pain of a heart exploding. "Either of you..." He added aloud, vaguely.
He stooped to help Annie, tried to help her up. He looked at Lev. "Stop, Lev, you're better than this..."

He laughed inwardly. Lev's heart was, by examination, between 85% and 95% darkness.

He turned back to Annie. "C'mon, let me help you-" He was cut short.
A robot with an annoyingly catchy theme music landed in the alley. It spoke deep, like a rumble or mild earthquake. He could see through the darkness... the only thing inside was a young girl surrounded by screens.
He spoke to the robot. "I assure you, he was going to stop. There's no need to spill blood... or brain."

The girl on the inside reminded him of the wretch, strangely. Almost too much invitation to try something. He refrained.

Lily looked out from her hiding spot, her eyes locked on Annie, she was worried about the girl, Leviathan wasn't easing his hold on her. She gritted her teeth, looking from one persons face to another, then she heard a child hood song. Her brow coming together in confusion as she looked from the direction of the voice. A robot swooped into action, talking about protecting the innocent and what not. She blinked, but didn't have time to worry about it before the rain began to fall.

In a panic, Lily came up from her hiding spot. But was sidetracked by the sudden disappearance of Trinity, she could hear the girls cries from near by. She looked around, trying to find the source, and found it to be coming from inside a dumpster in which Lev was beside. She gritted her teeth, taking a few steps closer, trying her best to ignore the stings of the acidic rain hitting her skin. If she didn't get Annie to stop, Lily ate alive by the substance.

"Now look, I'm sure this is all a big misunderstanding, and we can farther discuss it over a nice, warm cup of coffee. Annie, please, stop the rain. It really burns, and Lev..Release her, please?" the girl asked nicely, finally coming to the dumpster the other female was inside. She cursed, seeing a small lock and chain holding the lid down. "Hold on, Trinity. It's locked, but we can get it open. " she shouted, knowing the girl already knew it was locked, she didn't care how the girl got in the dumpster to begin with, all she cared about was getting her out safely. She examined the lock carefully, it was a key lock, which looked fairly easy to pick. Hell, she bet even Lev could use his power to just zap it off, or she could just shoot it off. No, Lily. That's a stupid idea, it can rickashay and hit someone.. We don't want that.

"Leviathan, we can really use you over here. So why not just leave Annie alone, and help me get your student out of the dumpster? Sounds civil enough, right?" she stated, pointing to the lock on the dumpters, the hood on her shirt already pulled over her head to sheild her from the rain, as best as it could. She was going to need some medical assistance after all this was over with, that much was sure.

Gidget hears what Annie says and maintains her look on Lev, "You do anything to hurt Annie and you're going to be sorry you woke up this morning." She glances over at Lilly standing by the dumpster. Taking a few heavy steps over to it she asks nicely, "Please step aside, I'm going to break the lock."

Cautiously moving around Lilly she reaches a large hand out to the lock and take hold of it. With a swift motion she pulls the lock free, breaking the cain in the process. She lifts the lid up and looks inside. She says kindly, "Are you okay? Here, let me help you out of there." She gingerly offers a hand to Trinity. Gidget recognizes her as the girl from the video she saw earlier. She is glad to see that the girl is relatively unhurt.

Gidget is shocked (to say the least) to find her view going from the girl in the dumpster to the entire world spinning around her. She plows through a brick wall close to them, the building materials falling around her. She sits herself up slowly. Thankful that she had thought ahead of time to add concussive padding to the armor, she checks her systems. The padding took a severe hit. The suit estimates that it can only take several more hits like that before losing it's effectiveness. Then something else catches her eye, and her face turns red.

Shaking her fist in highly immature manner, her girly voice bursts from the mic, "You big jerk, you broke my voice filter! Do you have any idea how long it takes to assemble a good one?!" The large metallic pauldrons shrug around her head as she slowly turns the visor toward Annie. Her words and mind speak in sync, "...aw crap."
