Tjaden emitted a feral growl as the scaly-skinned scoundrel unleashed his torrent of strikes against the front of Tjaden's shield. No matter how he attempted to pierce the whirling weapons, Tjaden's sword was turned aside while, at the same time, barely being able to fend of the lightning quick blades of his opponent. Fustration was mounting and every second gave way to the possibility of the dragon-wrought freak hurling an unexpected attack at any one of the stalwart adventurers. Tjaden wanted this finished.
A quick mantra in his mind focused his thoughts. He used the mounting tension and righteous anger until he felt his blood boil and his muscle scream with the agony of suffering such a creature to live. Throwing away all thoughts of self preservation, Tjaden sought the comfort and power of Ta'eh'jo...death or glory.
A bezerking Orc is terrible to behold, but not tuely unique. Tjaden had become a step above such a thing, as his own safety was now a non-issue. Everything he was, all his martial ability and all his strength went into a reckless gambit to destroy the creature before him. Tjaden hurled himself forward, his reverse gripped sword cutting a swath before him as he attempted to muscle his way through the blades. Instead of blocking with the shield, Tjaden was jabbing and punching with it as he strode forward, aiming the edge of the defensive item at the creatures face. Tjaden unleashed his own storm of deadly blows characterized not by the speed and grace of his opponent, but filled instead with dire strength and dreadful ferocity.
All the while a string of alternating curses and prayers where ripped from Tjaden's lips in the gutteral language of the Orcs.

((Tonas has given me permission to aid in the continuity of battles by rolling for us all, the rolling system is of his own design and battle will continue as he would be rolling, However since I'm unsure how Malfus would attack I'm leaving that open to Tonas' suggestion))
Kal, Selce, Tjaden and Erron strike at Malfus all at once!
4-8 Epic Fail: Kal and Selce's attacks are off target and fly past Malfius and strike one another for minor damage, Tjaden and Erron are counter attacked for Minor and Minor Damage, Malfus begins readying another attack/spell
9-17 Success: Kal's Dagger and Selce's spell's hit their target's wings causing only minor damage, Tjaden's and Erron's attacks also strike true but are partially deflected into a thicker part of Malfius' Body, Both deal Minor damage as well.
18-24 Epic Success All attacks are directly on target causing Minor, Minor Moderate and Moderate damage.

((Perfectly executed, Kaiten. Only one flaw, which is the fact that it is spelled Malfius, not Malfus, but hey, it happens hehe. This split rolling is also beneficial, as I can now act more as the monsters/NPC's. Only suggestion I might have had was to use a 20 sided dice when an action involves 4 or more characters, but I had forgotten to mention it before.))
Malfius is currently Barely Injured. Yeah. (Nearly Injured.
The dragon cultist shuddered at the damage dealt only for a moment. His anger began to swell as he prepared to begin his assault.
Malfius brings his twin blades to bear as he charges towards Tjaden, with a terrifying war cry!
All players except Tjaden( who is immune to Fear and intimidation effects) have their resistances weakened.
1 Malfius' silver blades bash against Tjaden's shield and sword, grazing through the armor with vorpal speed, dealing moderate damage.
2-5 Malfius lunges forth, Tjaden blocks with his shield expertly, no damage dealt.
6 Tjaden defeats Malfius' offensive. With a guttural roar, he counters for moderate damage.
Results: As the orcish knight defends against the dragonoid's fearsome attack, he roars in defiance and ripostes to devastating effect, moderate damage dealt to the cultist.

Kal once again tried to get out of the noticable range and fade into the shadows.
1-2 in Shadows.
3-4 not.
He felt the warm embrace of the shadows and felt the not noticed comfortability. He moved quickly to get behind Malfius, where Erron used to be. He attempted to backstab the foe. His blade warmly in his grasp.

((Wouldn't it be a cool embrace? Also seeing as how Laren can't do much else considering she left Zeus up above... I would like to Auto-apply Laren's next few actions due to the fact that I have to study for classes...))
Laren took note of the Draconic's increasing rage and decided to take advantage of it, launching a flurry of arrows at their foe in time with everyone else's attacks, "Oh come now, I expected a bit more fight from one who looks so much like the Beasts of legend!"

Selce maneuevered herself off to the right side of Malfius and began another spell. Wanting to end it as soon as possible she began the incantation for the LIGHTNING BOLT. "Ware!" She warned as she finished the incantation, to let her companions know to watch where the bolt went.

Erron hear's Selce's call and quickly looks over to her to see the tell-tale crackles of electric magic in her hands, He recalls the Golem and decides its better to take a few steps back momentarily to allow her spell and Laren's multiple arrows to hit Malfus first before attacking

Kal launches himself at Malfus who is unaware of him and still facing Tjaden!
1- Kal miscalculates his attack and in the process is knocked back by Malfus - Minor Damage dealt to Kal and he is no longer hidden.
2-10 - The blade sinks into a particularly rough section of dragonscale - minor damage dealt to Malfus.
11-19- The sneak attack is a success though no vitals are struck - moderate damage to Malfus.
20 - As Kal's blade sinks into Malfus' back he roars in agony, having been unaware of the rogue he was completely exposed and has been heavily damaged.

((Second Roll for Selce and Laren who are using their usual attacks, I figured Kal's backstab would be rolled uniquely because it has a chance to cause some very very serious hurt. And also, if he had attacked at the same time as Selce cast lightning bolt we'd have have to fry our rogue friend regardless of how well the roll went. sweatdrop I also might have gotten a bit over-zealous on the outcomes with this particular roll since Lightning bolt can have so many things go horribly wrong if it misses.))
As Kal his blade out of his target's back Selce and Laren simultaneously launch their own assault! a Flurry of Arrows and a Lightning Bolt spell mix in the air into a deadly long range assault!
2- Laren's Volley is completely off target, an arrow whizzes into Kal's foot for minor damage and the lightning bolt flies past Malfus and Tjaden, rebounding off of a wall into Erron for moderate damage
4-5 - Both attacks miss, the arrows bury themselves in the ground while the spell bounces off the walls of the chamber before safely fizzling out.
5-10 - The volley of arrows is deflected by Malfus while the bolt travels just over his head, ricocheting back at its original target dealing moderate damage.
11-15 - The arrows partially strike the target for minor damage before the lightning bolt strikes true for moderate damage.
16 - The attacks seem to combine in mid air, the metal arrowheads are charged by the ambient electricity of the lightning bolt and the bolt itself is guided by the arrows, the attacks thud into Malfus' body, shocking him heavily and wounding him. Heavy Damage.

Selce curses colorfully as her spell fails to have the desired affect. She begins to take stock of the situation. So far they were faring well against Malfius, but they still needed to end the fight quickly. She waited for someone else to attack as she thought of a new move.

Tjaden had lost all concept of safety in his rage against the dragon. He let slip his shield and pulled out the still glowing short sword he had entered the dungeon with. Now wielding his two swords, Tjaden's blades flashed in tandem with Malfius' weapons. His eyes narrowed and flashed with rage a moment before he lunged forward. Another gutteral roar sent saliva streaming from his pointed teeth as his face contorted into a horrifying countenance of righteous fury.
Tjaden brought the reverse blades in front of him as he leapt foward, the points of their blades seeking the soft tissue under Malfius' collar bones. As the sword tips approached their targets, Tjaden pushed out and away, trying again to force a way into Malfius' defenses.

Kal smiles as he pulls back and sees the blood upon his shortsword. With all the damage this dragon was taking, he seemed to be toughing it out. That slightly disheartened him, especially with the headache, but he was determined to take this thing down. He tried to slid back into the shadows, using his allies as a distraction.
1-2 in.
2-4 not.
He can't seem to get into the shadows enough, so he goes back to the wall, just trying to keep his distance from the dragonoid.

Laren noticed the Orcs change in fighting style and Kal's failure to slink back into the shadows and thus the elf quickly surmised that Tjaden's rage would make him vulnerable to their enemy’s attacks and fired another series of arrows at their dragon-like foe, hoping to distract him enough that Tjaden’s attacks would succeed.

Tjaden begins an enraged dual weapon assault.
(To-Hit Penalty applied. Knights are not proficient in dual-weapon specialization)
Laren assists using an arrow barrage.
1-3 Tjaden's assault fails, Malfius ignores the burning arrows and lashes out viciously, dealing heavy damage to the orc.
4-8 Tjaden matches Malfius, blow for blow, Laren's arrows sink into the dragonoid's skin for minor damage.
9-11 Tjaden's prowess breaks through the cultist's defenses barely, while in combination with Laren's attack, they deal moderate damage.
12 Critical damage, Malfius is struck off guard by Laren's constant attacks while Tjaden's swords strike true, dealing heavy damage.

Kal again tries to fade into the cool shades, in order to set up for a back stab again. Praying to Lady Luck mentally as he goes.
1-2 in.
3-4 not.
Kal smacks his hand into the wall behind him, annoyed that he can't slip out of view. He threw some daggers at the dragonoid. Venting his frustration.
