"Well Parth called it Project 1, and the last project from what i've heard was a person." I said, "So Kouchi, tell me about yourself if you dont mind." His hand went instinctively up to the blood stone again...but he slowed regained control of his hand and brought it down. "I come from the mountains where I live alone with only the ape men as the closest thing to civilization." He wasn't quite sure what else she wanted to know about him. She may have seemed familiar, but he wasn't too sure about telling her everything just yet. "The mountains, for some reason something about that place seems familiar, but then again I cant recall. Maybe I'll have to ask Chan or Runa about that place and see if I've been there before." I said and then looked at him once again, "Do you have any family, I mean still living or close to you?"

I felt more tears coming to my eyes, I turned my head from Kang as I began to cry once more. He didn't want to live.....I felt my heart broken into peices. After all we had been through, after all.......after everything.... he wanted to give up on me....I did not understand. "Please Kang. don't give up on me....don't give up", I cried softly. Did he not understand how much I needed him and that if he ever died I would end my own life just to stay with him....did he not know the deapths of my love, did I not show him enough? I continued to cry keeping my face turned away from him, not beacuase I didn't want to see him, but because I didn't want him to see my tears. He had asked me to stop and I couldn't.

Standing beside Kouchi, I placed my hand upon his shoulder, and said, "Im sorry to hear that, I know how you feel for I cant remember my family either. I mean yea I know I have a brother and sister but thats because Chan has told me about them."

He looked at her hand before giving her one of his small smiles.

His smile left almost as quickly as it had appeared.
"I don't know..he was taken from his home by a dragon. It destroyed half their village before flying off with a few captives; Orion was one of them."

He was glad she turned away, for the blood stone was glowing bright red again. He quickly brought his hand up and yanked it from his neck. He looked at it for a moment before depositing it in his pocket.

He reached his own hand out to comfort her this time, but stopped short and brought his hand back. He looked around at the sleeping companions, eager to change the subject.
"What happened to Runa and Chan?" he asked, not quite sure that that was the best subject to turn to.

Stopping for a brief second, I turned to face him. "I'm not sure they should of been back by now, maybe I ought to ride out to them and make sure they are doing ok."

He gave her his usual small smile as he nodded. He climbed up into the saddle behind her.
