Rayna, too, piled some of her favorite candy in, also. She was one for many different kinds of candy, so she was sure that kids would like a lot of it. She looked up and smiled. "You're right." she said, nodding. She turned around, going off to find Kylie. "Kylie, where are you?" she called, looking down an aisle. She saw her, pushing a cart towards her. There was a rather large bag of pink, yellow, and other colored balloons, a large package of light-colored streamers, a large pack of nice, styrofoam plates, plastic silverware, pink and yellow napkins, and a packet, which contained a banner that said, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!". Also was a small packet of candles for the cake. Rayna widened her eyes and looked up at Kylie, who just grinned. "What?" she asked. Rayna shook her head. Kylie was obviously very good at shopping. Rayna cupped her hands in her mouth and yelled, "Hey, Hiko! We've got the rest of the stuff!"

"Okaaaaaaaay!" Hikaru yelled back from the other end of the store. She scooped a few final handfuls of candy into the bag, and then went off to join the other two at the counter. "Here, I can help pay for some of this, too," she said, pulling some money out of her pocket. "Dad gives me some spending money every month, and I haven't really been burning through it as quickly as I usually do..." she said, setting down a ten dollar bill on the counter. "Plus, it's for a good cause, right!" She smiled.

Rayna and Kylie joined Hikaru at the counter, taking out all the stuff from the cart and piling them onto the counter. Rayna had to stop the bag of balloons from falling off. The man there, who looked to be around seventeen or eighteen, had black hair, bright blue eyes, and a lip ring, rang up the items, not bothering to glance at them. Kylie blinked, biting her lip. Rayna chuckled. "Yes, a good cause. And thank you!" Rayna said, getting out her wallet as well. The man looked up at them, leaning on the counter. "That'll be thirty two dollars and ninety eight cents." he said. Rayna nodded, pulling out two tens and a one. He took the money and placed them into the cash register, giving her back two pennies. Rayna nodded at him, placing the items in plastic bags. "Thanks. Now let's go." Rayna said, walking towards the door. Kylie blinked and snapped her head over to Rayna, nodding as she and Hikaru followed her out. Rayna smirked at Kylie and glanced at the cashier.
Before she left, Rayna yelled, "MY FRIEND THINKS YOU'RE CUTE!" and sped out. Kylie, looking mortified, ran after her.

Hikaru burst out laughing at this exchange. After a few minutes of walking and laughing, she waved her arm at Kylie, wiping a tear from her eye with her other hand. "I... I'm sorry!" she said, still chuckling to herself some. "Just... the look on your face was so great!" rofl
Without giving her a chance to retaliate, Hiko jumped in front of the two other girls, holding her arms out wide. "Okay! Now that we've got decorations and candy taken care of, what do you say we go present shopping next?" Grinning, she pointed in the direction of the sporting goods store. She already knew exactly what she wanted to get for Andi.

Kylie jumped on Rayna, wrapping an arm around her neck and squeezing. "I hate you!" she said playfully, beet red in the face. Rayna pretended to choke. "But Hikaru was right- it was hilarious!" she laughed, unable to control it any longer. Kylie pouted, but giggled herself. She let go of Rayna, who clapped her hands together and nodded. "Present shopping! Yes!" she said. She looked over to the sporting section and nodded, looking back at Kylie and Hikaru. "Alright, we'll hit the sporting good section, and then another store." she told them. "And who knows, maybe Kylie will see a cute, muscular guy." she added, winking in Kylie's direction. Kylie widened her eyes. "You wouldn't dare." she said. "Oh, I would." Rayna said walking to the sporting goods store with Hikaru, Kylie following them and protesting.

Hikaru had been in this store before, and knew exactly what she was looking for. Waving to the clerks as she walked in, she made her way over to the soccer equipment, picking out a nice officially licensed ball for Andi. Tossing it up in the air, she hit it off her head a few times and then down to her foot, catching it and juggling it a few times before kicking it back into her hands and nodding approvingly.
"Yup, this'll work just fine!" she declared happily, going over to the counter and setting it and some money down. "I'd like this, please!"
The guy working at the counter nodded, looking rather impressed with Hikaru's handling of the ball. "You're pretty good," he remarked as he rang her order out, handing her the change.
Hiko smiled, flashing a V for victory sign at him as she tucked the ball under her shoulder. "Of course!" she said simply, grinning widely before turning back to Rayna and Kylie.
"Okay, that's all I need from here!" she said. "You guys gonna get anything, or should we move on to the next store?"

Rayna and Kylie looked around at the clerks who waved at Hikaru- obviously, she had been there before. Rayna leaned over to Kylie and smirked. "See anyone you like?" she teased, chuckling. Kylie hit her arm, turning a light pink, causing Rayna to laugh out loud. When she saw the soccer ball Hikaru had, she nodded in approval, smiling. "She'll love it. You can teach her to play soccer." she said. Kylie nodded. "I was thinking of getting her a pair of nice tennis shoes, since she likes to climb and run. I'm sure there would be a pair here...." she said, looking around. "Hiko, do you know if there is?" she asked.

The man at the counter nodded at Rayna, and was about to direct her to where the tennis shoes were kept, but Hikaru preempted him. "Yeah, sure!" she said excitedly. "They're right over here, c'mon!" She waved Rayna and Kylie over to the section of the store where the athletic shoes were. They had all sorts of different kinds of shoes - running shoes, cleats, cross-trainers, all-purpose tennis shoes... Hikaru started looking at all the different kinds, and then turned back to Rayna. "Do you know her size?"

"Size four, I think." Rayna told her, furrowing her eyebrows. Kylie looked through the shoes, also. "What do you think she would like?" Kylie asked, looking over to Hikaru and Rayna. Rayna shrugged, beginning to look at a pair of blue tennis shoes. "Do you think running shoes would be good?" Kylie asked, holding up a pair of pink and white running shoes. Rayna bit her lip, leaning agains the shelves. "I don't know. Would running shoes or all-purpose tennis shoes be better?" she asked Hikaru, crossing her arms.

Hikaru took a look at the shoes, taking them in her hands and examining them a little more closely. She didn't really know Andi too well yet, so she wasn't sure what sort of active lifestyle she had with regard to running around and exercising. "I think the all-purpose tennis shoes would probably be best," she said. "They're not as good for running as the other pair, but they'd be good for the general sort of playing around that kids do. They should be pretty comfortable whether she's running around, climbing trees, or playing soccer."

Rayna nodded, looking at the pair of shoes in Hikaru's hands. "That sounds good." Kylie said, jumping down from a shelf she was climbing(to see the stuff on the higher shelves) and walking over to her, looking at the shoes. "Those would probably be perfect!" she said, smiling. Rayna smiled, stretching her arms. "Then get them, Kylie." she said, earning a nod from Kylie as she grabbed a pair exactly like the pair in Hikaru's hands. She then ran over to the cash register and pulled a few bills from her small, black purse, purchasing the shoes. "Thank you." she said politely to the man at the register. He smiled and nodded. Kylie ran over to Rayna and Hikaru and smiled, nodding. "Miss Rayna, I've got the shoes!" she said. Rayna nodded, looking over to Hikaru. "Okay, can we go to the jewelry storew next? I wanted to get something special for Andi." she told them, shoving her hands in her pockets.

"Sure, I'm all done here!" she said happily, tossing the soccer ball up in the air and catching it again. She turned around and waved to the sales clerk, who gave a cheerful wave back as the three girls exited the store. Hikaru started looking around, appearing to be somewhat confused. "Umm... I'm not really sure where the jewelry store is..." she said, looking a little embarrassed. That was one store she'd never bothered to visit - Hiko was never into jewelry or makeup or any traditional girly stuff like that, so she never had any reason to learn where the store was.

Kylie and Rayna followed Hikaru out of the store, Kylie pausing to bow a bit to the sales clerk, who chuckled lightly at it. Rayna pulled her out of the store, so she didn't wave or bow to everyone. Rayna stood next to Hikaru, looking around. "I don't either." she said, laughing a bit nervously. Kylie placed her hands on her hips. "Leave it to me!" she cried. "I can sniff it out!" she joked. "Plus, I saw it while going to the party store." she added, winking. She then ran off in a direction, Rayna following. "Come on, Hiko!" she called. They soon arrived at the store- a sign over the door had a large picture of a diamond on it, and on the bottom said, Fine Jewelry. Kylie beamed walking in, Rayna behind her.
Inside was lovely- counters with glass windows, so you could see the beautiful jewelry on the shelves inside. Watches, rings, bracelets, neclaces, earrings, and many more covered these shelves. Rayna wandered the counters, biting her lip and running her fingers along the counter top. "Umm...I want to get her a locket or something...." she muttered.

"Sure, sure," Hikaru said, kicking her soccer ball in place somewhat absentmindedly as she walked into the store, juggling it on the end of her foot. Quick as lightning, a woman came running out of the back room, bending over and snatching up the soccer ball. She pushed up her glasses, looking down at Hikaru sternly.
"Hey!" Hikaru yelled. "What gives! That's my ball!"
The woman stared at her for a moment, totally incredulous, before sighing and speaking. "You cannot play with this in here," she said. "What if you were to lose control of the ball and break one of our glass cases?" She gestured to the many jewelry cases scattered across the store. "I do not think you would have enough money to pay us back for such damage."
Hiko stuck her tongue out, snatching the ball back from the woman and looking rather insulted. "Pfft! Like I'd ever lose control of a soccer ball!" she said, waving her hand. "It's fine - I'll just wait outside. I don't like this kinda stuff anyway." She waved over to Kylie and Rayna, pointing to the outside of the store to signal that she'd be out there waiting.
"Stupid jewelry lady..." she said quietly to herself, walking out of the store and sitting down just outside. "She obviously didn't know who she was talking to." Grinning a little to herself, she started rolling the ball back and forth in front of her.

Though Rayna tried to look as though she wasn't paying attention, a small grin could be seen on her face. She hadn't seen Hikaru lose control of the soccer ball yet- and the look on the woman's face was nearly priceless. The woman then walked gracefully over to Rayna, looking her up and down for a moment. Surely, she didn't look like she had money- with her very baggy, faded blue jeans, the black, studded belt that kept them up, and a black, form-fitting tank top and her beat-up, old black tennis shoes. She cleared her throat, getting Rayna's attention. "May I help you?" she asked. Rayna stood up straight, her hands still in her pockets. "I'm looking for a locket." she told her. "For my- err, sister, whom I'm adopting." she said, scratching the back of her head. The woman nodded a little. "Well, I'm not too sure if we....have what you're looking for." she said. Rayna raised an eyebrow. "What about those over there?" she asked, pointing to the shelf full of lockets. Before the woman could say anything, Rayna walked over to them, inspecting them and scratching her chin. The woman bustled over to her. Rayna smiled, pointing. "That one." she said. It was a simple, gold, chain necklace with a locket- with the shape of a heart. The price read $99.98.
The woman cleared her throat. "That one? Are you sure you can..." she trailed off. Rayna whirled around to look at her, a semi-offended expression on her face. "If I can afford it?" she asked, crossing her arms. Before the woman can answer, Rayna pulled out her small, black wallet. "Just so happens that I can. Now, I'd like it if you'd get that locket out of that case so I may purchase it." she said. The woman, looking affronted, pulled open the case and reaching for the locket, carefully pulling it out and handing it to her, looking rather sour. She walked swiftly to the cash register, going behind the counter. Rayna opened her wallet, pulling out quite a few bills and placing it on the counter. "Thank you." Rayna said angrily, taking the small bag that the woman gave her, which contained the locket. She then marched out of the store, Kylie following.
'We've got it." Rayna muttered darkly, crossing her arms and glancing at the store. Kylie bit her lip, her hands behind her back. In the distance, a man stopped and looked over to the three girls, standing there for a moment.
