She trembled, feeling her last bits of strength and energy leaving. But suddenly, just as all of it had dispersed, her eyes changed from that deep, soft sapphire into a glowing electric blue color. Her body started trembling not from weakening, but from something else. She felt a growing power clawing inside her, like an inner demon waiting to be released, only it wasn't a demon. Slowly, her nails grew into sharp claws and her teeth grew pointed (no, this isn't a werewolf, lol).

Elowen suddenly let out a mighty, dragon-like roar. When Jade had pinned her again, she threw him off with tremendous strength that, even if she wasn't in such a weakened state, she could never have managed. She screamed in pain, though it was more of a roar again, as her body contorted. She doubled over on the ground, and in what seemed like forever, she was no longer an elf, but a dragon (I was saving this part for a good moment when I started in this story, but I wasn't sure when, so I'll just to this moment). She was breathing heavily, not knowing what had just happened.  (She's bigger than she looks.)

Jade hits a tree and groans.He moves to cruch then looks at Elowen with wide eyes and his mouth dropped open

She groaned and winced. She shook her head and stood up. That's weird, she thought. Maybe I'm just delirious, but the ground seems further down than usual... She looked at Jade, curious at why he was staring at her like that.

Elowen looked at herself as much as she could. "No way!" she said. "S-so...what that soothsayer said was true. 'With pain, you will awaken the dragon...'"

She looked at herself again. "Cynder, I think. That's what I'll name this dragon....strange how I managed to do this." She slowly approached Jade.

Jade moved back and hisses.His wings spread out.They went from very little to his body length in with and about 15 ft in length

He was hurting as his cycle continues and gets stronger.He was bleeding but didn't seem to notice
