"Kyouku?" Akemi said thoughtfully, "What a pretty name! Shall i show you to the maid's quarters? That's where you'll be staying." She asked Kyouku kindly. "You could help us to set out the rest of the meal then, if you'd like?"
"We have a lot to celebrate today! Two new maikos and new arrivals!" She exclaimed. Her first day at the okiya was sure turning out eventfully!

"Well I guess I was vague on the details." Ayame said, hearing Akemi's offer. She giggled. "I'll lay out your futon, Kyouku-chan. I'm sure Akemi or someone else would be pleased to show you more of the Okiya's surroundings meanwhile."

Ayame pulled open the doors of the cupboard which the futons, blankets and clothes lay, with a small layer of dust on the top. She pulled out a futon and beated her hand against it, telling the dust to linger somewhere else. She placed it on the floor and pulled the blanket over it, ready to be used by Kyouku.

Tora turned as she saw a shadow enter the doorway out of the corner of her eye. "Mother," Tora boasted, "Welcome home!" She walked over to her and gave a formal bow, and then a hug. "Is there anything I can get you?" Tora asked.

Akemi walked alongside Ayame as they went to show Kyouku the maids' quarters. When they reached them, she watched Ayame take a futon out of the cupboard, lay it on floor and place a blanket on top. Akemi tugged at the corners of the blanket and spread it out neater.
She gestured to Kyouku and spoke softly, "This is where you'll be sleeping presently. I, too, am a maid and will be sleeping here. I hope we can become friends! If you'd like to sort out your belongings and then we can finish laying out the tea?"

Amaya Himawari walks up to the door of her new okiya and looks around anxiously. She is always nervous when it comes to things like this, and she is terribly shy. Thrice she knocked; but no answer came. One of her dainty hands griped the door and slides it open, she looks around with caution ringing in her eyes. She takes off her sandals and slips on the smallest slippers provided and then steped into the okiya.

Her stare lingers around the beautiful decoration on the walls and she fights off the urge to giggle. She had never been near anything radiant and it made her feel more daring than she liked. With no prior knowledge to the okiya arrangements she went to explore and get the lay of the land, hoping she wouldn't get in trouble.

She wanders down a set of stairs curious as to where they lead. When her feet fall from the last step onto the floor she cautiously lifted her gaze, she saw a kitchen. Her stomach growled, she was extremely hungary. She lets out a sigh and makes her way into the kitchen, which seemed deserted also. She lifts a rice cake off of a pile and begins to eat. Her mind is set on eating fast, with lesser chances of getting caught.

After she shoves every last crumb of the rice cake into her mouth she wanders down a hallway. She sees doors marked with names of the residents and their ranks. Some said "Maid." and other "Maiko.", she peered into a Maiko room curiously and saw such beautiful things. Fans, face-paints, kimono's and hair ornaments. It made envi rise up in her like a beast, but she only sighed and continued to walk. The very last room, and smallest had the name "Amaya Himawari, Maid" on it. Sliding open the wonderously beautiful door she drifted into the room.
