Ryou entered the elevator as well, adn could hear his yami swearing in the back of his mind. He was confused, but didn't ask why Bakura was grumpy. He would just be told to shut up, or (hopefully) he wouldn't be spoken to at all. Even as Ryou thought these thoughts, he could tell that Bakura was only getting angrier.
Bakura snarled to himself. His air-headed hikari pretended not to know what he was talking about. Ryou blushed on the outside, and mentally began to protest, but Bakura cut him off.

Rei pressed the button for the first floor. She watched as the elevator doors closed,her mind wandering off.

After a little more arguing, Ryou was 'convinced' of what he needed to do. He stood completely still, trying to get his numb mind to work, and finally took in a deep breath. "Rei, I-- I'm sorry, but--" He stuttered, and then decided to hell with explanations. He took the single step necessary to get to Rei, put one hand behind her head, and kissed her very hesitantly.

Rei was at first in shocked. Nobody had ever just came out and kissed her before. Her cheaks turned a bright red before she hesitantly kissing him back.

Ryou blushed as well and would have pulled away until he found that she was kissing him back. Not to let this moment go to waste, especially since he didn't expect to get another one like this, he deepened the kiss. Only a little, just enough to make it worth remembering. But he quickly broke away after that, and just looked stunned. He didn't say anything; he couldn't think of anything to say.

When he pulled away Rei was in shock as well. She had no clue what say. She had never exspected this.

"I-I'm sorry, I just--" Ryou took Rei's silence to be a bad thing. "That.. that was completely inappropiate. I shouldn't have--" The elevator doors opened as they reached the first floor and Ryou looked like he was ready to bolt.

"No...It's ok..." Rei leaned down and gave him a small kiss "I..Just dident exspect it..." She said her cheaks still red.

"Neither did I." Ryou said meekly, looking away. "I mean-- I wasn't planning on doing that or anything, I was..." Forced to? Not exactly. He had just been given a huge push.

Rei was quiet for a moment her cheaks still red. "Do you..Like me? Or...was that more of a...spurr of a moment thing?" rei asked.

"..How much more?" rei asked. She wasent that could with the whole social thing.She had never had a boyfriend or actly liked anything this much before. It sort of confused her.

Ryou was at a loss for words-- he ran a hand through his hair, looking utterly baffled. "I don't know. I haven't done this with anyone else." He admitted, looking shy. "And--"
Ryou as cut off as there was a slight flash of darkness-- if that could be possible-- and Riku stepped out from a dark portal in the elevator. He looked at them, confused, and then around at the elevator. "Sora isn't with you? Where'd he go?"

"I thought he'd be with you." Riku said, lingering a little. "Besides, I can't really sense him in this place. I can smell the darkness, sure, but it's not helpful when he's got practically nothing on him." For some reason, Riku seemed irked at this. He then focused on Ryou. "You smell of it right now. Don't know why, since that's usually only when that spirit is control. The scent isn't as strong, though. Is he just pulling the strings behind the scenes?" He was oddly chatty, but no explanation was given to this. His face lit up when he saw the look on Ryou's face. "Ha! So he is. I'm getting better at this whole thing. Don't let him tell you what to do."
