"Why does the Academy suddenly want Synthic back? I mean, they almost got her back in Syam once, but they did well to track her down here and bring her back just like that." He asked. There was fear in his tone as he wasn't comfortable in his current situation. He didn't know Lily at all besides seeing her when Kir saved him awhile back.

"Because she's the only one outside of the Academy who can help Kir," Lily replied, taking a deep breath to try and steady her nerves.

Daniel just nodded and looked away, not wanting to say anything more to the stranger. He sat quietly and just looked to Kir.

Kir was still on the bed. He wasn't breathing, but he looked like he was just sleeping or something. He looked very beat up, with his missing wing and all.

Bradley landed at the mouth of the cave, "Before we go in, is he really there?" He asked.

Ezio dismounted. "yep, from what i'm seeing, he's entered here, and has yet to leave, we've got them..." he said. he then traced Kir's path, leading to a hotel. "there.. she should be resting right now in there.." he told brad.

This is probably the closest he's ever gotten to his own son. Bradley suddenly became nervous.

Ezio noticed Brad getting nervous "don't worry... you'll do fine." Ezio entered the hotel, asked the staff at the counter where Kir and the others were. she told him and Ezio led Brad to the room and knocked on the door. "it's now or never.." he told him.

When he knocked on the door, the door creaked open a little. It wasn't closed all the way.
"I know," Bradley said, "Excuse me. We're coming in," He said. He waited a few moments before slowly opening the door the rest of the way.

Ezio entered with Bradly, keeping quiet. he knew that they wouldn't know him, so he wouldn't barge in or anything.

Bradley saw that Lily was kneeling on the floor beside the bed where Kir lay lifeless. A boy he doesn't recognize was there as well.
He started to get a headache when he saw Kir like that. He was dead. He was showing no signs of life like breathing.

a tear rolled down Ezio's cheek "that poor soul... if only we could of been here sooner.." he said to him self aloud. he walked over to Kir's bedside, opposite of Lily. Ezio proped his elbows up on the bed and folded his hands and started to say 'the Lord's Prayer':
Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Ezio continued to hold his pose until otherwise.

Bradley looked at Ezio who was next to Kir saying the Lord's Prayer.
He walked over as well and knelt down next to Lily. He leaned over and stroked Kir's head. He said nothing and there was no emotions or expression. He checked Kir's jaw and discovered something like rigor mortis. One of Kir's wings was still missing and he was solid inside.
"...Crystallis fracture..." Bradley said at last, "...He needs to be operated on..."
