"No." Aleksi said looking up at her from his slouched position. "I need time to heal before meeting my parents. I shouldn't show up with a wound now. That would be rude."

Ciara nodded. "Well, we could have the monk take a look at you," she offered. "He wouldn't mind, I'm sure of it."

"It's good to have an in." Aleksi said smiling. He flinched from a jolt of pain. "Well, shall we?" he asked gesturing towards the edge of the desert with the hand he wasn't using to support himself.

"Whatever you wish Ciara." Aleksi said with a small smile. "I'm going along no matter how we go."

Ciara nodded and pulled out two cards. Both were horses, one was black and the other a strawberry roan. She summoned them quickly. Neither had bridles or saddles, but it was easy enough to ride without them, especially since their manes were long. She figured Aleski could probably mount up by himself, and she mounted the black one with ease, despite wearing a long, heavy dress. Her fingers curled in the horse's long, wavy mane, and that would be how she would guide it.

"I hope this won't be too bumpy." Aleksi said with a joking but at the same time concerned smile. He mounted the horse with a little trouble and grasped the mane like Ciara had.

Ciara smiled when Aleski mounted his horse. "Have you ridden before?" she asked. Her horse began to prance impatiently, and Ciara patted its neck, calming it.

"Yeah." Aleksi said grunting as his steed, began to clop around impatiently as well. "I should be fine."

"Well, let's go before Worthy and Sedona here go insane," Ciara said with a laugh. "Wanna race?"

Ciara laughed a little. "Alright, I'll try to keep Sedona at a trot," she said. "I know Worthy won't want to go much faster than that." She patted her horse's neck. "Good girl, Sedona," she said sweetly to her horse.

Ciara nodded. Then her leg twitched back a little and Sedona leapt forward before settling into a nice trot.

Aleksi had his steed follow Ciara's, each bump sent a little jolt of pain up his back, but it wasn't anything crippling.
