"Hmmm" said Zack opening one eye but not getting out of his meditation pose. "oh sorry" he said as he handed it back. he went back into his trance. 'there is nothing you need me to right now is there." he asked trying not to be dead wieght for the caravan.

"Oh that's right. Shadow? You said something about their being more of you. Where are they?" She asked him as she scratched his ears for a reward on another cleared room.

Shadow looked down at Kimmi "Where? Many places..." he slunk through a vent disappearing from veiw for a few minutes. His voice drifted back through the vent for them to hear "Be back....find others..." Milo and Otis shivered and pulled their pistols out of their holsters, clicking the safeties off.
Fillup blew the doors off of the elevator shaft a few levels down from where they started "Well, so much for maintanence..." he mumbled, swinging back and forth, gaining momentum to jump to the ledge. Above him were the other 11, waiting for him to tie the line off at the doors.
"Hurr' up Fill! We don't really like this place so much..." Sarg yelled down, waiting for Fillup. Grumbling, Fillup jumped, the rope following him.
"Just wait a sec..." he grumbled into the comm.

Kimmi rolled her eyes at them. Time to teach the chickens a lesson. She smirked and winked at the gunners with a finger over mouth. Coming up behind them she shoved them in one of the cleared room with a laugh and wave and hit the button locking the door. "Come on guys, lets get some real work done."
About 20 minutes later they had cleared the stairs and made it down a few levels. One of the gunners opened the door and made sure the hall was clear ushering Kimmi out as well as the other gunner. They made their way down the hall when the one started cracking jokes. "Shhhh, you want something to find us?" Kimmi said quickly putting a hand over his mouth. "This is why you're not a scout." She muttered as she looked around them. "Too loud." The other gunner snorted and was about to say something when an oddly shaped hand reached from the shadows of a doorway and literally ripped his head off. Kimmi let out a scream as blood splattered both her and the other gunner. Razor sharp teeth and red eyes were all Kimmi could make out before the other gunner shoved her back towards the stairs. "Run dammit!" He yelled as he opened fire.
The stairs were blocked by more moving shadows so she turned down a hall quickly, movement at the end of the hall had her scrambling into a room and slamming the door closed. She could hear yelling through the mic but wasn't listening as she blocked the door by pushing over a shelf in front of it. She looked for another escape point and saw a vent that was torn open. A ceiling tile over her head moved and the second gunner's body was dropped on her. Laughter from the creatures followed her screams as she shoved the body off her and scrambled into the vent.

Kay took off down the hall, heading straight for Pinky. "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU P!" she shouted blazing through the hall. She caught a glimpse of Pinky through a piece of glass in the door. Heading for the nearest vent she riped it open and found her way to the room, reaching in she yanked Pinky into it and got them back out to the hall way. She stopped, senses on alert, Kay glanced at Pinky "You okay?" she asked her eyes scanning the area.

((jeez...that's a little disturbing, yet... twisted ))
Shadow slid out of the vent into the room that Kay had found, as well as the nest for his kin "You find?" he asked, watching Kay and the 4 other beast.
Fillup stopped completely when he heard the screams, on the comm and in the corridors "Dammit" he spat, watching as the last of the others joined him, 6 of them either with Kimmi or wandering around the top levels.
Sarg grabbed Fillup's arm and gave a soft jerk "We have to move, I think something has it in for us, all of us..." he said, seeing a pair of glowing red eyes at the bottom of the elevator shaft. They were getting closer.

Kimmi was shaking and her eyes kept darting all around. "It-it ripped his head off!" She made a quick motion with her hand and screamed again as something banged into the wall next to her head. She moved closer to Kay and Shadow with another scream when she realized it was the first gunners head. The creatures laughed at her again as the lights started flashing as though the were going to go out. Kimmi whimper. "They only like the dark, they won't come it the light." It was the one thing she had realized quickly while running, the things had only stayed in the shadows. "Can we go back to Zombies please." She nearly sobbed as the lights at the end of the hall went out.

Kay wrapped an arm around Pinky. "Hang on." she said taking off down the hall, hearing the creatures in pursuit. Kay felt claws graze her back as she used her body as a shield between them and Pinky. She slashed with her sword, the monster letting out a blood curling scream.

Kimmi hung on to Kay tighter as she felt a hand wrap around her leg. She yelped as she was yanked from Kay's grasp. She hit the floor hard enough to knock the breath out of her. She heard a growl and then felt herself sliding along the floor down the hall. She hit a vent grate that was unsteady and went right through it. She let out a scream as she tumbled and slid down the vent to bottom section of the base. Her scream was cut off as she hit the grate at the bottom with enough force to go right through it. A yelp of pain was heard when rolled into a dark room smacking into what felt like a hospital bed before hitting the floor. She lay there trying to figure out if everything was still working and groaned as she got her breath back for the second time. She groaned again as she pushed herself off the floor. "Kay?" She looked around and did not like what she saw. Huge tubes of fluid, some were empty but others had things floating in them. She could hear something further in moving around and quickly looked around for a hiding place.

It came into view as it screamed, a light flickering on and off above it. It was a horrid sight, all scales and edges. Its face was startlingly human-like, but the rest of it was reptilain, it even had a tail. Twin horns grew back from its skull, twisting over i the crown of its head and back. It was a dark green color, splotches of black adding a shadowy effect to its scales. Claws long as daggers were splayed as it backed away, swishing its tail from side to side.
Shadow roared, the monster's eyes darting to the charging cat-beast. A horriable hiss filled the corridor as it saw what faced it "Die beast!" Shadow launched himself forward, tearing at the thing's face and chest. It swatted at Shadow, knocking him away. But one of the other cat-beast replaced him, on its back this time. Tearinf great bloddy gashes along its spine.

Kay ran after whatever was dragging Pinky, diving in after her. Landing on the hospital bad she rolled off and onto her feet. Spotting Pinky she came up behind her and saw what she was looking at. Hearing a noise she grabbed Pinky from behind and clamped her hand over Pinky's mouth. Pulling them behind the hospital bed just as two of those things came into view. They seemed to be communicating, and thankfully they hadn't noticed them. "You okay?" she barely whispered right into Pinky's ear, her hand still over her mouth.

Kimmi shrugged. She wasn't sure if she was ok or not, she would have some nasty bruises that was for sure. She didn't think anything was broken or sprained, but she hadn't had a chance to stand up yet. Kimmi stiffened in her arms as she heard something above them. She looked up with wide eyes and whimpered at the red eyes staring back at her. She nudged Kay and tried to wiggle out of her hold as the thing smiled at her and reached down, avoiding Kay's arm to pull the mic and hat of her head.

Kay saw the hand coming down. She waited till the last second and slashed up, sending the creature crashing to the ground as Kay scooped Pinky up and blasted out of the room. The creatures screaming in anger and taking off after them, but not before Kay noticed that a group of them stopped to fight over the dead body of their fellow creature before devoring the body. "Just concentrat on killing one at a time guys! They eat their dead!" she shouted not pausing for a breath as she went racing off. Navigating the hallways at breakneck speeds, Kay kept Pinky balled up in her arms like a football. Using her other arm to alternate between an extra shield for Pinky, to attack the creatures behind them, and to allow tight turns on their race through the building. Spotting a dead end with a window at the end she pushed her speed farther. "HANG ON!" Kay shouted as she leaped out the window, holding her arm over Pinky's face. They kept falling, a blue river rushing up to meet them. Breaking through the surface, Kay kept a firm grip on Pinky and swam to the surface. Reaching the air she reached the shore a mile or so down river from the buildings. Kay picked up Pinky and walked up onto the shore a bit before laying her down and pratically collapsing beside her. "You always have to get in trouble don't you?" she joked completely soaked.

Kimmi ignored her in favor of coughing up water. "A window? You jump out a window, and you accuse me of being trouble." She laughed. It only lased a moment before she started to panic. "Oh oh oh! I left Milo and Otis locked in a room!" She nearly shrieked as she got to her feet. "What if those things get to them!" She didn't wait for Kay she simply started trying to find a way back to the base so she could free the boys before those things got them. "And what about Shadow, Bubbles and Sarg!" She grabbed Kay's arm. "Come on! We have to help them!"
