Caleb slowly opened his eyes, seeing that it was day, and he had... Survived somehow. He got off of the ground, and was prideful in his experiment.

Caleb suddenly woke from his dreams of the past. They only reminded him of so many of his past mistakes. He got up and walked out of the library. His heels clicked as he walked back out of to the day. A wallowing pit developed in Caleb in had been for many years tainting his soul and more importantly, his heart. He had lost all hope that he would live another decade, year, month, day, he didn't want to now, not when it is hell just living normally. He let himself fall to the ground why even try to move the boulder up the hill when it keeps rolling back down again?

[[Mahi: Ah well. I guess it's okay if one person gains immortality. It's just that if it ever becomes widespread, the natural cycle of life would be screwed. That's what happened with my homeland a bit before it was borrn. Nothign was growing due to lack of nutrients from corpses, so everyone died.

Mahi was also currently enduring torment from lice and ticks [which were also upchucked by her poor niece].

Caleb heard a familiar voice, he turned his head to see the girl he was teaching earlier getting thrown up on by a child that has insects nest in her stomach. Then, they began to swarm Caleb as well, but, he didn't care as much they were just little pests, they weren't going to get though the thick robe he wore.

Mahi sighed, and stood. there was lice in her hair, gnats flying around her, some boils on her legs, frogs in her clothing [and one on her head], and she was still coated black with the cinders from the explosive portaling failure.
"...it's just been one of those days. Oof... I've had worse! R-Really! I once had to deal with a Code Red Roulette Round! Basically meaning I had to deal with all twelve plagues at once. Thank Valentine that I wasn't a firstborn..."
