Damrius Korek only had a moment to see what had happened before he was hit by the flame ball. As it hit him, it got him directly in the chest. It knocked the wind out of him, and also knocked him bakc a few steps. He opened his eyes, and saw a blur. He couldn't see where his opponent was. He felt the leatehr smoldering a little. He ignored it, and then broght both hands together, palm touching palm. He bowed his had, and closed his eyes. He began to charge energy. When he felt he had charged more than engouh energy within a few moments for his next move, he was happy. He dropped down to one knee, both arms held out to both sides, extended all the way, and... And then he would feel a very painful object hit him like a battering ram going nearly fifteen miles per hour. Now, most people can run pretty fast. Not track star speeds of 20 or maybe 25 miles per hour, but usually pretty quickly, perhaps 15-18 miles per hour. And, most people can generally close a distance of twenty feet in perhaps a second or two running at full speed. However, building up speed takes time, but two or three strides and you're there. This was the case for Ryugi, who had gotten to his feet while Korek fumbled after getting hit with the small flame blast. He then charged towards Korek, and unshiethed Ragnarok as he ran, moving the sword in front of him and about ready to slam into Korek within three seconds of the big man closing his eyes, the thunder from the envirnonment blotting out Ryugi's steps in the soft grass, as well as the wind. Ryugi was merely ramming Korek with the flat side of the sword, but with that much force behind it, it might be quite uncomfortable. Ryugi now had two turns of charge for what would come....

Korek coughed as the attack hit him. The sword had knocked the wind outof him, and sent him backwards bout 4 feet onto his back. Korek had been waiting for this though. He slid his sheiths from their holders, and then witched each ones side. While he did this, moving extremely fast, a glint of razor wire flashed, going all the way back to the hilts of his Banshee Blades. He pulled it tight, and it wrapped around Ryugi's body. Korek pulled the wire tight, and ten pushed himself off the ground. The pulled again, and the wire went tighter around Ryugi's body.

Damrius Korek coughed as the attack hit him. The sword had knocked the wind outof him, and sent him backwards bout 4 feet onto his back... But this was all that Korek would have a chance to do. For as Ryugi rammed into him, he kept moving, following Korek to the ground until he had Korek's limbs pinned benieth the weapon, which now glowed with three turns of energy stored within, the blade glowing with an orange aura... In essence, Korek was trapped by Ryugi. The energy within the sword could be let out at a moment's notice, and at this close a range, it's inherant damge would be far greater than the usual 300-400 with this much charge. But Ryugi didn't unleash the energy, he wanted to see Korek's reaction. The battle seemed over, but all things were not always as they seemed...

Korek gaspe for some air. This was getting annoying to him. He lay on the ground, slightly shocked by the orange glow. He closed his eys and took in a deep breath.He broght his head up as far as he could and opened his eyes. He looked Ryugi in the eyes, and smiled. He then opened his mouth, and let out his breath. But instead of just C02, let out a cloud of black flame.

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. The move was perfect on Korek's part and slammed into Ryugi's face without warning. However, shortly after said flame hit Ryugi, the flame energy would be absorbed into Ragnarok, adding an extra turn of charge to the blade, making the total come to five.
And, oddly enough, Ryugi grinned back as the flames disapeared from around his face. His jacket and scarf smouldered just a bit, steam rising from them, but other than that, Ryugi was unharmed. If Ryugi knew HOW this happened, which he did, he wasn't telling, but Ragnarok now glowed with five turns of charge, a brilliant, almost blinding white, and it was still planted firmly on Korek's chest.
If Korek was smart, he might be a little worried. If he'd seen any glowing weapons in his days, which he probably had, he should know that they were generally dangerous. Usually, the brighter the glow, the more powerful the impending attack. The way that Ryugi's face was calm and stern showed that he was serious about attacking. The situation was looking bad for the big man...

Korek was scared. He was scared out of his mind. But he wouldn't show it on his face. He knew better. Since the sword was only on his chest, that means it over held down his upper arms. Not his forearms, or his wrists, or his kunai. Within a split second, Korek had turned his forearm over, adn flicked two more Kunai into his hands. He didn't bother with energy. But he did bring his massive forearms hup, and threw the Kunai Directly towards Ryugi's arm Pits.
If his attack had been successful, then it would immobilize Ryugi's arms, due to the Kunai being through his shoulder joints. But he would also have a chance to push Ryugi off before his sword did any real damage.

Once more, Ryugi's equipment came through for him. Equipment Clothing - His jacket, pants, and scarf are all fireproof and highly heat resistant. This was due to his flame elemental nature when he was still a dragon, as such, they are also good insulators of heat, protecting him against cold temperatures as well. All articles of his clothing have thin dragonsteel threads woven in among the fabric in order to make it highly durable against most kinds of bladed combat and attacks, however, punches still have the same effect they would normally have. His scarf is thick and strong enough to hold two people's weight easily, and has helped him survive rough times before, even if it can be a hinderance in battle. He only removes it when the figthing is getting serious, and he could use a small boost of speed by removing the drag of the scarf. Underclothes - Underneith his jacket, he wears a shirt of woven dragonsteel which prevents him from being cut by just about anything less than a solid stab, however, a sharp enough blade with enough power behind it could still injure and briuse his ribs etc. Not only did his equipment help him out, but the physics of the situation. Kunai was generally thrown with the entire arm behind it, allowing the whole arm to give momentum to the small blades, but the problem with Korek's throw was that he only used his forearms, which allowed for much less overall power, which in effect meant less piercing ability by the throwing knives. Six turns of charge now flowed through the sword. You realize that you're generally at my mercy here. One move of releasing the energy, and this fight is generally over. Do you concede defeat?

Korek flipped up two more of his Kunai. This time, he slid the kunai over a little hook on his arm band, and then pulled it out. Both of the Kunai now had Razor Wire connected to them. He threw the kunai is such a way that they went around Ryugi and landed in the opposite hands. He pulled it tight, and then waited. This Razor wire had parts of metal on it. The metal, was going to act as a conductor. Lightning shot straight down from the sky towards the Razor Wire. This, was also connected to Ryugi, and it would either take him out, or both of them out.

What a coincidence that lightning happened to strike right where the two fighters were... Equipment Boots - His boots have shin/kneeguards build right into them and are made light to vastly cut down on movement resrictions usually caused by such heavy equipment. The soles of the boots are thick rubber with a metal plate running under the padding for the foot. This protects his feet from sharp puncturing objects, and tiny spikes protrucding to the ground protects from electrical attacks as well, allowing most of the charge to flow out from his body with little harm. The toes of the boots are also dragonsteel, protecting him from any toe stepping that might occour, as well as giving him a painful kick. Ryugi's shins were pinning Korek to the ground, but the soles of his boots were touching the ground for support. The spiked protrusions were in contact with the ground, and allowed the current to flow out through them. The electricity left him feeling numb and tingly all over, but he wasn't going to hold back anymore. He let loose with the energy within his sword, all six turns of charge tearing into Korek at close range. The attack in and of itself would do about 600-700 damage on a scale of 1000 Max HP. Plus the 100 or so from the little flame blast and the extra damage from the lightning, all made for one hell of an attack on Korek. The close range made the energy even more powerful. Korek would be feeling THIS in the morning...

Korek Lay on the ground. He had been knockd out cold from the blast of energy, and his asumptions on which he had made too many of. His chest plate had been completely destroyed, and his body was bruised all over. This he had never experienced.
((Nice. I'm going to bed now.. I'm tired. I'm going to need to work my way up till I beat you. Shouldn't take too long. I hope))

Kana's silky voice whispered into Reiko's ear, her body merely centimeters from his, levitating off the ground slightly so she could actually reach the taller man's ear. She had, in the time spent wandering, enhanced her skill in levitation so that she could at least do that much.

"Coming on to you? I'll come on to you when Hell freezes over, Reiko." Kana lazily made her way around Rei so that she was in front of him and facing him. "We came for a spar... One rule... no death blows... anything else goes... First move is yours..." Kana was simple and to the point as she merely stood there, waiting. Sheathed at her sides were her two favorite weapons in the world, The Angel's Tears, dirks she had owned since birth.

"Jeez. I wasn't even the one who made the challenge. But I have to throw the first punch?"
Reiko placed his hands in front of his midsection and rubbed at his left wrist as he walked towards Hawk. Then suddenly... with the last step he Dashed in from 4 feet away, closing the gap in single step.
As he did so, he reared his left fist back at breast level and turned his to the left.. revving up the motor for a left straight at her face, then started turning to the right, his left fist only starting to come towards her.
