 Katrica jumped to the side, dodging the shots and ran to the main level, teeth clenched. She did NOT want to lose her NRGY.

Katrica walked into level 3 slowly, waiting for Nalini at the door.

'I am in a really bad ******** mood,' Nalini announced as she swept into the laboratory. She kicked the door shut, and locked it, before shooting Katrica a malicious, toothy grin. 'So if anyone tries to get in here, they're dead.'
She walked slowly over to a desk, and perched on the edge, still inspecting the staff.
'Hold your arm out. Let's see if just jabbing you with it will do anything.'

Katrica grinned at Nalini, her werewolf teeth glinting in the light.
"Yea, anyone bothers us we can have some fun." She laughed before holding her arm out; her sleeve already rolled up as it always was.

'And Christ knows we could both do with it. I suppose one of us ought to go and check on Aizel, too. That was his arm, by the looks of things,' she boredly replied, hefting the staff.
She injected it into Kat, trying to be careful, and waited to see if there was any change in the werewolf.

Katrica watched the needle stab through her skin; she loved needles. Noticing that nothing happened, she looked expencantly at Nalini.

Nalini sighed, and carefully withdrew the spear's needle.
'Can you see anything on this damn thing? Something that might help us figure out how in the name of s**t to get the NRGY out?' she asked.

Katrica grabbed the spear from Nalini and inspected it carefully all over. She then noticed a small switch.
"Here's the problem."

Nalini craned to see what Katrica was looking at, and saw the minute switch that she had missed.
'Good eyesight,' she commented, taking the staff back.
She flicked the tiny switch, and injected the same arm again.
'Hopefully this time, something'll ******** happen.'

Katrica clenched her eyes shut as the NRGY flowed back into her, a familiar but painful feeling taking over her.

'I'm going to guess that worked,' Nalini said, a small tone of triumph in her voice, as she watched tiny threads of LGHT and DRK spiral up Katrica's arms, pumping through her veins.

Katrica instantly felt energized and showed it by pulsing the NRGY through her armsn even ******** YEA!" She stil had her eyes shut.
