Akiko was utterly confused, torn between what might be happening back at the End of the World, and her friend's distress, which Akiko took to be her own fault.

"Of course you're strong enough," she assured Mika. "But I'll...I'll help you out as best as I can..." She smiled half-heartedly, not daring to express her anxiety about other things. It wasn't like she'd be able to help, anyway. And Mika needed her, so here she would stay.

That thought made her smile more sincerely. She was needed, huh? What a nice feeling.

Kyle noticed Akiko was gone. He cursed and sighed. "Everyone just keeps disappearing on me. Heh. This is like a game... Like someone is placing bets, using our lives as the chips. And that someone is playing against Death. Then that someone loses in the game. Then Death swallows the chips whole," Kyle said.

Even Mika was creeped out, but she simply slipped gracefully to the ground and landed in a pose to make a ballerina wither in jealousy. Very slowly she walked up to Squall before circling him like a vulture.

He really was much hotter in life.

"Hey," Cloud nodded to the girl in front of him, voice slightly unsure. She was tiny! "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

He didn't bother answering her other question. That was just weird. Actually, they were both a bit weird. But the one in front of him...had a keyblade? Well, they shouldn't be all bad, and they had to be working with Sora or for the King.

((I figured I'd take on Cliud's role and you could take Squalls, hope ya dun mind it))

Kyle turned and looked into the darkness. He sensed something was there. after a few minutes, he turned back around and tried to think of what to do. That's whn a Shadow burst out of the shadows behind him and attacked him. His left arm had gash now, bleeding a bit. He shouted in pain and turned quickly, jamming the Glock into the Shadows head and pulling the trigger. A hole was now in the Shadows head and it lay on the floor. Dead.

He looked at the dead heartless and sighed. He felt the corpse. It seemed to be wet. Like sweat of some sort. This was a mistake. After a few minutes he was starting to sweat a bit. But he soon stopped sweating. He felt a bit dizzy. "Disney," he said quietly. It was an infection. And Kyle had heard Disney talking about it a bit.

Disney had said that he would select a special few heartless to contain a small virus that could only be spread when someone touches the dead corpse of an infected. It would first start out as sweat. Eventually there would be a lot of coughing and a little vomiting. It might cause seizures or heart attacks in the end, to detirmine the death of the infected, if the infected is not killed right away. The death of an infected could occur in either a day or a week. He would be lucky to survive for two weeks.

he picked up the corpse and moved it away from whoever was left in the area. When he returned he sighed. "Don't touch that corpse," he said loudly. There had to be an antidote. And the only one who had it could be Disney.

"...looking." she answered quite honestly. she turned to Akiko after her answer and pointed in the direction of the wasteland. "It dare not rest in peace, for fear it shall fall to darkness."

Mika walked behind Squall again to look at his rear once again, before walking in the direction she'd pointed to. Stopping only to do the same thing to Cloud. After getting a long look at him she walked over to a vendor.

"She's like the lovechild of Vincent and Reno..." Cloud mumbled under his breath. He felt slightly violated by the redhead, but the younger girl in front of him seemed to be feeling very nervous. "Akiko...I assume you know Sora? Where is he? Did he find Riku and Kairi?"

Leon subconciously turned his backside away from Mika. After eyeing her weirdly for a few seconds and determining he was safe from further awkward inspection, he joined Cloud to listen to the conversation.

Akiko fidgeted a little more and said, "Yeah I know him. What do you mean, did he find Riku and Kairi? He's been with them for a while, I thought...but we're all in the End of the World place right now...um, except me and Mika, obviously..."

Kyle ooked at him and smiled. Beads of sweat rolled down his face. He coughed slightly then asnwered the question. "I'm on your side. I'm going to die anyway. I'll be a heartless in no time," he said. This virus would make him go through a lot of suffering, then end up turning him into a heartless.

"Not really," Kyle said. His vision was a bit blurry at that moment. eventually his vision cleared up. It possibly could have been the virus.
