Haph climbed up the stairs quietly. They were dimply lit, and seemed strangly unused. Shouldn't servents be busling around? What kind of a person was marcus? She wanted to head towards his personal quarters, that way she would have some basis on the person she was hunting.
She placed ehr back on a door, and opened it quietly, it led into a deserted halway, there was no one about, she darted out. This halway was nicer, so she knew she was getting closer to Marcus's personal area. Though the place seemed to clean, so it must have been the guest quarters. She turned another halway, still seeing no one about. She was starting to think that Marcus was a bit of a hermit, or very unsociable. Little did she know there were 236 people all in the large mansion. Down the hallway she saw an open door, the first open door she had seen the entire way. She quickly turned away from it, open doors, ment people. She took a few more turns, getting impressed by the wealth that the mansion showed .No wonder they had to be careful that this man did not join the other side.
The halways were still dimly lit, all the better for sneaking aroun, thought Haph. She found another cloosed door. This one looked promising, it was too decortated, so it wasn't for show. She put her ear against it, listening before she dared enter. All the while, her eyes remaind on the hallway. She now knew some of the layout of the house, but she did know anything about the ocupants, and their wareabouts, so she had to be extra careful.

"Ow what the hell was that for!" Vic snapped rubbing the back of his head in pain. "For being an idiot. You couldn't get Arrow to do anything you wanted to now, you've lied to her, her entire life, and you're hunting her friend!" Marcus growled back, glaring at him. "Her 'friend' is going to get her killed! By letting them stay with him, you're going to get not only her killed, but the other two! We've gone over this already!" Vic half yelled, hands slamming down on the desk. "It's her choice not yours! You need to lower your voice, you have no idea how many of my coven are actually present. And most do not enjoy being awoken. There's only one of you Vic, you'd be dead in seconds." Marcus said his voice still angry but quieter than before. "What 234 of the suckers came home for the hoildays? Or am I off on the numbers?" Vic said smugly. "No you're off by two." Marcus said a smirk mirroring Vic's.

((edited post above, not 5 people in the mansion, but 236 hidden vampires! =D ))
Haph heard nothing behind the door she was listening at. But a little ways down the halway, she did hear something. At first she had tensed, ready to get out of there at a moments notice. But now she realised they were the loud voices of peple shouting at eachother. She slowly tiptoed her way toward the voices. Hoeping they could feed her some valuable information.

"Speaking of holidays I hope you guys are prepared." Vic said arms crossing. "You know we won't hold back this time. We're going to take at least half of your coven out." Marcus looked over at him with an 'oh really?' look taking another sip, mentally laughing that the hunter's cringe. "Really? You don't have enough numbers to take us out, Vic. You couldn't even if you did. We're just to strong for simple little hunter's like you." Marcus said, his voice dripping with confidence. "Marcus!" the vampire just laughed.

"Please sir!! tell me how you know her?" Ari asked standing infront of Enric hands clasped together in a begging motion.

Haph jumped and turned around. She had been on high alert, how was it possible, for him to sneak up on her. He lowered her eyes and stood infront of Artemis, "I'm sorry, sir, i'm new ehre, and I-I don't know where i'm supposed to be. I heard voices and I-I..." Haph kept her face looking down, and faked a stutter, perhaps this man would buy her story and let her go. She held her breif case in her two hands in front of her, and rung the handle as if nervous.

OK, Plan A failed, Time for plan B. Haph thought, Plus, why is this guy so strong? He looks like a member of a rich family, could he be another spy? Is he Marcus? Still in the air, haph used the heigh he was giving her to bring her leg up, and kick him under the chin. IF that worked, and if he let go, she was ready to flip backwards, using his face as a base to prpell her self off of.

"She was one of the kindest people I've ever known. Smart, funny, and one of the handfull of women in the world who truly put up with me." Enric answered still not able to look at the girl.
"Artemis! Put my servant down this very instant before you kill her!" A voice said as it's owner came down the hallway. A second later an arm wraped around Haph's waist, the other going under her lifting her like a small child easing some of the strangulation.

With a growl Artemis released," Seraphim, you know better than to mess with my prey" He glared at the all too incredibly happy face of his twin brother.
Ari leaned down on her knees still holding his hands,"Sir? why wont you look at me?" a look of concern on her face.
"nnngnnn" came a moan from the bed

"And you know better than to attack my servants. So hmph." Seraphim said sticking his tounge out at his darker copy, now cradling the girl like she was 3. "Besides haven't you gourged yourself enough tonight? Or were the 5 girls from earilier and turning Edward not enough excitment for the night, hm?" He asked laughing, eyes closed.
"Edward?" Enric said looking over at the teen in the bed. Thank you distractions! he thought, this conversation had been going a little to close to a line he hadn't been near in years. He needed to talk with Marcus soon, or maybe he'd go speak to his old teacher.

Ari bowed then vanished from the room.
Artemis glared at his twin,"[i]You can have your way for now" he sneered then walked off. He never enjoyed his brothers presense.
