"Those two should still be at the inn, Riyo needed to rest." Yuki stated, absently wondering just how long Neko would sit around doing nothing. He had no idea that it had barely been long after they had parted ways. "I'm not defensive." Yuki replied to Mitsu... Defensively. Clearly, he wasn't interested on sharing his story. "I'm just hungry. I feel like I haven't eaten in days." Not that food in the wilderness was properly filling, either way. It would be nice to have a good, hot meal that didn't have to be cooked over a hastily made fire.
"I dunno what they've got around here, I've never been here before." Hitsu had replied to Poke. She offered Yuki his own meal to lighten her load, before moving further down the line of small food shops and stands.
His sister's offering was taken without hesitation, and Yuki was quick to investigate. Of course, this was shortly followed by eating that could very closely rival Mitsu's lack of manners when she was half starved. He walked along behind them, though conversation was not important, just eating and keeping up.
"What about something cold?" Hitsu finally suggested. For Riyo and Neko, they could probably have some put into a container. Certainly they could return to the inn before it had gotten too warm.

Mitsu cowered a little as Yuki replied to her in the same manner. Though he wasn't exactly harsh about it one would have thought he had been yelling at her by the way she flinched back. Taking a step closer to Hitsu she followed her closely as she eyed the shops thinking about dessert.
"Cold?" Something cold did sound good. It had been rather warm today. "What can we get that's cold?" Mitsu looked between Poke and Hitsu for an answer. They apparently had more of an idea of what they might be getting than she did.

"Eh, either room will do. But it sounds like yours is a little closer than mine."
Twitching slightly as he clutched his shoulder, Blade looked towards the staircase with a sigh. From there he slowly made his way to them, hoping he wouldn't end up stumbling on the way up. The last thing he wanted right now was to fall down a flight of stairs. He wasn't clumsy but with his luck today anything could happen really.
But he made it to the second floor with no problems.

"Right then." Atticus mumbled and followed the two upstairs. If Blade was to accidently trip, he'd probably end up falling on the strange man. He probably wouldn't catch him, just break his fall.
When they got up the stairs, he took the lead and opened the door, letting his two new acquaintances in before he entered himself. "Go ahead and take a seat on the bed." He commented and looked around the room for whatever he'd lost. Now where was it?
His eyes widened as he spotted what he was looking for. A... Tophat? Yes indeed. He grabbed the tophat and... Reached his arm into it. Wait. How'd he do that? "I put that bag somewhere in here..."

Once in the room Neko watched the man go to work looking for his supplies he supposed. When he picked up a top hat and started to rummage around inside he quirked a brow. "Okay then..." Maybe this guy was a few horses short of a full stable.
"Well, Blade....errr...." He looked at Blade, to the door, back to Blade, and then the strange man. For some reason he had this creepy feeling like this guy was going to steal their organs or something. "Good luck, buddy!" Neko smiled nervously heading back to the door. "Let me know how it turns out. I'm going to go check on Riyo."

Blade followed the doctor into his room, watching the guy reach into his hat. Blinking at this, he wondered what exactly was with that hat and if the guy actually was able to store stuff in there. Frowning a bit, he glanced over at Neko and let out a sigh.
Neko really didn't seem too much like a reliable guy. Though he did seem care about his friend at least. Shaking his head to himself, he turned back towards the strange man and watched him a bit warily while he nursed his shoulder.
"Erm... anyway... I'm not really sure but I've either broken something or dislocated my shoulder.. or maybe both.."

The next part was even more amazing, since he pulled a medical bag out of his hat. It didn't seem quite possible, but somehow it did. "You shouldn't worry about a lost cause." He whispered to Neko. Whether he heard it or not didn't matter.
"Anyways." He began and sat the bag next to Blade. "It won't take too much to find out. Just remove your jacket." As he spoke, he opened the bag. The usual medical instruments were in there... Including syringes and needles of varying sizes.
Meanwhile, Riyo had moved from the bed to the corner. She wasn't really asleep, but awake wasn't a properly defining term either. Eyes wide open, but lost in the dephs of her mind. Her head rested against the wall. What could she be thinking about?

Neko had stopped at the door when the stranger spoke. "Excuse me?" His tone of voice had sounded a bit offended as he looked back staring daggers at the man. He on the other hand was already going about tending to Blade so instead of sticking around for an answer Neko opened the door and walked out all but slamming the door behind himself.
Making his way down the hall to the room he and Riyo had previously been in he opened the door slowly and peeked in. "Riyo?" At first he didn't see her and was worried that she might have ran off but then he spotted her in the corner. "What are you doing over there?" Walking in he closed the door gently behind him and made his way over to Riyo kneeling down by her side. "What's wrong?" He reached to place his hand under her chin to bring her face in his direction to look her in the eyes.

Blinking with a mild amazement, the thief watched the doctor actually pull a bag out of his hat. The thing definitely had to be enchanted for it to do something like that. Shaking his head slightly to himself, he sighed and slowly removed his coat. It wasn't the easiest thing to do at the moment, but he managed with a wince here and there.
As he did, he eyed the various needles a bit warily. Hopefully those will stay unused here.
While he held onto his coat with his left hand, he looked around before taking a seat at the edge of the bed.
If this guy ends up being a quack...

He watched the man get pissy and slam the door. Obviously, he'd been around the girl for longer than he needed to, but how he found her was his biggest question.
"I'm going to exam your arm, so if you feel major discomfort or pain, please don't hit me." It was almost comical, how mechanical his voice was.
"Oh. No big deal, it's just dislocated. This is easy to fix." Quietly, he reached into his bag and pulled out a cloth. "I'm gonna need you to put this in your mouth and bite down."
When his fingers made contact with her skin, her eyes once again changed for a split second, the pupils becoming as thick as a razor blade. She gasped and tried to scoot back, but quickly realized it was just Neko. She let out a big sigh, worry and sadness written all over her face. "Where's Blade and that man, nyu?"

"They are in another room. He's tending to Blade....are you okay?" Sitting beside her he had a look of worry in his eyes. "You acted like you had seen a ghost or something." He had seen her reaction, the way her eyes had changed. Though it was normal for felines to have thin line pupils these were unnatural. Familiar. Like his own that he hid under his 'mask'.

As his arm was examined, Blade hissed out with pain but didn't attempt to hit the doctor. Instead he just clenched his left fist a bit before relaxing at the stranger gave the news. It was relieving to hear it was just a dislocation. If it really had been a broken bone as he feared, it would take much longer for him to recover.
His shoulder might be sore for awhile, but it'd still be nothing compared to having the arm out of commission for a month or so.
"Alright.. that's good to hear."
Frowning a bit, he went ahead and took the cloth and bit down on it. The next part was going to be pretty painful he knew.

"G-ghost?" Riyo asked, avoiding direct eye contact. "Neko says the past doesn't matter. But... It does when it comes back to haunt you..." Strange words coming from her. "Riyo isn't gonna be around much longer, and what happens when she's gone... She's not too sure of." She shook her head, her body tightened up at the thought of her dreams. "Please Neko... If Riyo tries to hurt someone..." She bit her lip.
"Kill Riyo." Her hands reached up to clutch her hair. "The dreams. They're not just dreams. That man. He's here for a reason. He saw right through Riyo... He knows... He knows bad things are gonna happen, nyu.."

Neko searched Riyo's face as gave him some sort of detail about her life, her life that up until this point had been a total mystery. It hurt him that she asked him that it something happened for him to kill her. He didn't think he could do it, how could he? Its not like he had never taken a life before, but somehow the thought of taking her life stung a little. Was it because of their similarities or was it pity?
As the knot that was slowly growing in his throat got tighter he reached out and wrapped an arm around Riyo's shoulders and drew her closer to him for comfort. There was no need for this now, this could wait for another time couldn't it?
"Who is that man, Riyo?" It was the only question that Neko could sort out in his mind right now. And one of the more important ones. If the man, not even a few rooms away, was dangerous then they needed to move. All the other questions that were swimming around in his mind could wait for the moment.

He didn't give Blade an ounce of warning when he grabbed the man's arm and quite basically shoved it back into place with seamless agility and precision. Apparently, he'd been doing this for awhile.
"Well then. That's done. You can spit the cloth out now if you want. Hopefully it's not permanently affixed to your mouth." With those words spoken, he reached into his medical bag again. "If you'd like, I could give you a shot to ease the pain. As long as you can take it easy for the rest of the night."
Riyo wanted to push away from him. She didn't want this to happen. And the fact that he hadn't said anything in response to her begging meant that he wasn't as cold as she might've hoped. But... She couldn't. She still wanted comfort. Even though... Whatever she had done, she probably deserved the opposite.
"Don't know..." She whispered. "But... He's been watching Riyo for awhile..."
"He is the raven, of course." There he was. The man in all his glory. Sitting on the bed as he had been a little while ago. "And he's been waiting for you. He saw what you did." The man stood up, arms folded behind him. "There's a link between you two that goes way back to the first generation, you see. He knew what you did the second you did it."
"B-but what did Riyo do?!" She shouted, eyes wide, looking over Neko's shoulder.
"You know goddamn well what you did. And I'm tired of you pretending that all of it is oblivious to you. Tired of you being ashamed of it. You loved every minute of it, and you'll do it again." His eyes were harsh, and his smile was gone.
