Paul arrived and did see the three children. He paused an instant and then simply said.
Good. He ushered the three inside of the classroom, which looked like the office of a madman, with so many different things hanging on the walls and placed on furniture, and strangely enough of a classroom.

Take place, children. He added, seemingly oblivious to the state of Koori.
Oh, she will be fine, sometimes a little pain reminds us that we are alive, if not well.

He sat down at his desk, and continued. I believe some of you think highly of themselves, and think that since I am merely human, I hardly know, or can teach you something about Death.

Some of you already must think that I am a big jerk too. That is fine by me, jerk would be one of the nicest names I would have earned in this life, anyhow.

I am Paul d'Arbaumont, one of the last descendent of this noble family, and hereby hold the title of Count. I am one of the last descendent mainly because the rest of the family was wiped out when I was aged of 4, by a demon.
Oh, do not think I hold grudge against it, mainly because it is I who summoned it, instinctively.
Between 4 and 16, I was taught the Art of weaving spells, of changing the world to my convenience, and to control those which I did summon.
At the age of 16, I was sacred Master Summoner by my peers. That's right, at the age in which most toddlers had their first follies, I summoned Astaroth and controlled him, or at least interested him enough so he didn't rip my soul off.
What am I doing then, loosing my time teaching you when I could be pursuing greater powers. I do this because I sensed the gift in some of you. And without teaching, it would lead to your death by lesser than me.

He paused an instant, to emphase the last sentence, then added:
Can anyone tell me what Death is?

Torikimaru raised his hand slightly. "I have some understanding of death." he said, his eyes still blood red and pubils still pitch black.

Koori heard a female voice in her head.
My child, you must stay strong. You cannot quit now. I shall lend you some of my strength.

Coughing up some more blood Koori slowly sat up.
Whispering she told him, "It is a state of being. The circle of life which," she coughed and continued, "gives then takes back. You can not run nor hide from death itself." She fell to the floor and painfully sat up. Her eyes began to fill with tears as she looked at Paul.

"Please help me." she collapsed.

Kazuki stood in front of an empty visage, the dark cape, the large scythe. An eerie being that seemed to be in complete control of the realm that Kazuki was residing in. Bright red eyes appeared from the empty visage and stared down Kazuki.

Just from one look, Kazuki felt heavy like some sort of force was pushing on him.

"Welcome to Limbo, please come with me"
Where are you taking me? ... Death
"To Hell."
As I thought...

"However, the Gatekeeper will give the final decision where you will spend the rest of eternity"

Knowing that if Kazuki tried to escape, death could easily destroy him. Kazuki opted to follow death to the Gates of Hell

Paul looked at the girl and a gentle force raised her into her seat.
Focus on the part of yourself that can heal. That was a good answer, don't let yourself die on it.

He then looked at the boy and nodded.
Well, pray tell us what is your understanding of Death, it would be more interesting than merely claiming it, at least. And do not try that on me, imp. I have faced bigger than you. The demon self, if you wish to impress me, is your weaker self.

Torikimaru moved his hand infront of his face and his eyes changed back to normal. "What I know of death, is something you only dream of knowing, human. I may be a half demon, but never underestimate me." he said.

She sat up coughing more blood. Slowly she took her hand to the cut on her chest and focused the energy in her hand. With two fingers she directed it into the cut and prayed it would heal.

Slowly her breathing returned to normal. She was just barely able to repair the broken veins and torn skin.

Shaking slightly she thought about what he said then raised her hand. She had more to add to what she previously told him moments ago.

Kazuki and Death traveled Gates of Hell, on the way there, Kazuki noticed many demons and lesser demons..

"Weaklings, are that of the Demons. Their exploitable rage is their major downfall."
What do you mean?
"Control. Control of their own soul"
Are you trying to teach me something?
"Perhaps, but young mage - you know your powers are exceptional. You could easily survive for eons in Hell"

Kazuki paused for a moment...

Why are you telling me this?
"For my own accord."
What do you mean?
"You'll find out. Mage, your powers are enhanced ten.. no a hundred times in the spiritual realm. Now hurry up, the Gate Keeper does not like tardiness."

Kazuki continued walking towards the Gates... In the distance, he could make outline of his destination

Paul simply smiled and waved into the air in an intricate fashion as a dark circle opened above his head. It seems to be opening again on the spirit world.

Well, I told you there would be some that question my ability to teach this class, let this be a reminder for them. He said apparently to the world at large, but focusing on Torikimaru.

I saw on your file that your father was called the... what again? Yes, the Devil of Earth. Meet someone who sees the earth as a playground for weaklings.

The reality itself seemed to reshape in a strange way as one head passed through the circle. Asmodai, the one who held the title of Demon King, looked angrily at Paul.
What is it you wish, Paul Winnderslaine?

I was just making a point, for this little boy here, half demon, thinking he is big enough to take on me, would that be on the ground of knowledge, or maybe even fighting.

The head turned towards Torikimaru and sniggered. That was an awful sound. It turned then towards the wounded angel and it's eyes half closed.
I'll have the angel for my displacement. It simply stated.

Not this time, old friend. She is a student of mine. If she performs poorly, you might have her.

The head grinned and nodded, before disappearing into the circle, which was soon to follow.

My point, exactly, I would have prefeered not to have to use it, and this is definitely why I told you my little bio. Now how about quit the bickering and trying to focus on something that would not bring your instant death?

"You think you scare me, you have to do better then those parlor tricks." said Torikimaru. "Do you even know how my father got that name?"

((Yes, now stop saying it. Ugh.))

Without waiting to be called on she continued.

"Death is something you can also not be fully prepared for Sir. No matter what you say. It can also not be fully grasped when taught in class, the only true way is to learn from experience which I think from what I've gone through I know a small amount of what needs to be known. But even with that I do not think of myself higher then you even though you are human and I am not."

She gave him a weak smile and continued.

"Death can have many different catergories itself. Like, spells that send dark energies flashing, searing the air from a dimention not so far away, plunging into a creature and tearing apart the helpless body mind and soul. Or the mere word 'death' itself referring to how one is no longer in the world of living."

Pausing she thought of what he said to her previously.

"There is more than destruction in Death. It is nothing but a veil through which we pass. In reality, it is only the beginning. Healing is something which as well is taught in the class of Death. Or it should be at least. People are taught to control the life force, in many ways people say unholy. They are right in a sense of being incorrect. But like you said those kind of people ran away most of the time when facing something they thought they could not manage."

She sighed.

"I have power, like you said and at the moment I feel the need to learn more to protect others. Don't you think? People thinking they can gain power over something as unpredictable as life without working are fools."
She directed the last comment towards the half demon boy.

She stared at Paul, her eyes began to sparkly again as they waited for a reply.

Arriving at the Gates of Hell... Kazuki seemed greatly impressed and began to laugh.

Hahahahaa!!
"What is it human?"
This is the greatest thing I've ever seen, for a Mage like me.
"You're impressed by the Gates? Ha. That traitorous demon, Belial was more powerful than these Gates, and you're impressed?"
No, I'm ecstatic, for the power in this world. I can feel it all over, every single grain of dirt wields power.
"There may be more to you than I thought, Human"

Turning towards the Gates, Death pushed Kazuki forward

"I am the Gate Keeper, the judgment of Hell. State your name."
I am Kazuki Aoba, the Balance.
"You have been rejected by the Gods for sinning, how do you plead?"
Guilty. I have bound my soul with a Greater Demon. Of course I have rejected by the Gods.
"You know your sins, and how far you've deviated from God. However, you cannot be accepted into Hell."
Why not?
"You do not possess a complete soul, you are of little value to Lucifer"
I see.

Death barged in..
"I would like to ask a favour of you Gate Keeper"
"What is it that you want?"
"I wish to use this Mage as my apprentice and as one of my apostles"
"If the God of Death wishes it, then I will allow it. Do you wish to bind your soul to the God of Death?"

Kazuki took a moment to think...
I will.

The Gates opened and a surge of Death energy surrounded Kazuki
