I always found Utility to be far more effective and useful in both combat AND non-combat scenarios than combats pells are anyway. I should tell you about the time Rope Trick saved the day from what would have been a disasterous TPK!
I know that utility spells are the best spells, but consider Waffle's character: she's lazy, doesn't want to study, and is content with channeling mana to do her work. As far as she's concerned, her job is to blow s**t up.

Voljin deserves it... the onlt reason I think he won't become Warchief is because he's not an Orc. but garrash needs to man up or step aside anyway.
I agree on the Orc thing, which is why I believe he won't be Warchief. Though I hope we get to kill Garrash, or rather that I get enough money to buy the expension so I can get to Garrash. He needs to die for his terrible interior and exterior designing! Metal spikes are so lame.

There's a song I think you might like; "Senzafine" by Lacuna Coil. The acoustic version is much better than the original, in my opinion. You'll like it.

so, we were level 3 or 4 or something... about 7 of us I think, lemme count...
I was an Elf Cleric of Olidamara. we had a Human Cleric of Erythnul and a Bugbear Barbarian who also worshipped Erythnul. there was a Human Rogue with a Greatsword and the Cleave Feat who hide insanely high Hide and Move Silently skills and just ******** s**t up... a Human Fighter with a Guisarm, Heavy Crossbow and an awesome Tanking strategy of tripping the opponents and leaving them pinned in a perpetual state of prone. and finally, a Half-Elf Sorcerer with almost no attack spells. everyone made un of him for having Pyrotechnics and Rope Trick as his 2nd-level spells.
so, we end up in this town that's pretty much on welfare from the temple to Pelor.... no decent bar in town, and the Temple is too busy floating everyone to realy defend them against the goblin gang forcing them to pay protection money... we volunteer to go take out the goblins, each of us for our own personal reasons.
first encounter was a Goblin sniper-ambush and three Trolls guarding the bridge... that's another story I'll get to another time, called "Balls To The Wall"...
anyway, but later on we ended up camping in this ruined tower... but the tower turned out to be a trap. there was a manticore that basically tricked the Barbarian into a bait-and-lure ambush (I keep warning people about lone manticores provoking attacks and hiding in hard-to-reach holes...) and in retreat we accidentally triggered a portal that summon waves of goblins... here's the kicker, we got trapped in the room and surrounded on all sides.
so, the sorcerer cast Rope Trick and I cast Sanctuary. we could fit all but one person inside at a time, so we'd cycle attackers while I healed everyone, and took out all the enemies one by one. xd
