My favorite comic moment of late was in JLA: Classified when Kyle used the Buddha's Palm. whee That was just TOO perfect. whee Nope, Warren Ellis'. Issue #3 of the arc, I think. Definitely. It's awesome, and I think it's out... or nearly out in TPB. Confirmed. Saw it last week.

(no english subtitles yet) I've seen it for sale in prettier package, but there was no indication that it had subtitles on the back of the package. (to my knowledge anyway) There's no indication on the cover of mine either. I was worried for a bit that they weren't in there at all. God yes. I first watched it without the subtitles. The movie gets the point across well even if you don't know what they're saying.

Elijah_Snow Oh it's incredibly doable. In my case, however, a lot of what made the movie so impressive was the sounds and the music that flowed with the visuals.
I've had to suppress rage over people's reactions to the lake fight scene. I have to keep telling myself that not everyone's going to get it. (which is bothersome anyway) I tried explaining my view of it to my buddies and they looked at me like I'm nuts. Just for my own sanity, what did you get from the symbolism of the lake fight?
