"How are things going?" The drow moved into the light a little bit more clearly, he was completely covered in blood, save for some places along his back and behind his legs. His hair appeared to be pinkish from all of the still wet blood clinging to it. "Do you need anything?"

She was tempted to give the popular 'things are good.' response, but she figured she might as wells peak the truth. She was starting to wish he would wash off that blood. "Things are terrible. I need Meilikki back."

"Terrible?" The drow locked his eyes into Aella's, "How so?" He put his arms so that his hands rested on the hilts of the two scimitars he wore on his hips.

"Terrible as in someone very dear to me has been kidnapped, is probably being tortured, possibley already dead, and I can't do a thing about it." She threw her arms in the air. "Othre than that, everything peachy." She crossed her arms and set her hips.

He cocked his head to the side, "Didn't Malik save her yet?" The drow stepped towards Aella, and placed a hand under her chin, and farced her to look into his lavender eyes. "If she was taken from my Castle, then there is nothing that could have been done to save her from that fate. Blaming yourself will only cause anxiety, and accomplish nothing beneficial toawrds restoring her. At the time, you were doing your duty, which means you are not accountable for what happened."
The drow released Aella's chin and stepped away, he turned his face into the light, his eyes were ambre in its glow. "Do you think that it is impossible to save her?"

Her eyes looked into his abd tears spilled over her eyelids, unable to hold them back. Blaming herself was part of it, blaming others was the other part. "Not yet." She wanted to ask why he hadn't saved her yet, but refrined from making people angry.
And of course, everything Piper and Onyx told her was fresh in her mind as well.
"I'm not allowed to think that. Because then it means that Meilikki has no chance, and she deserves more than that from us, after all she's done."

"And what has she done for us?" THe drow asked, a very sly tone came over his voice. "Or shall I ask, why has she done it?" His voice turned again, into a sombre one.

Aella looked at him, a little more bold then she usually was. "I never said 'us.'" For starters she took Aella in and treated her like a daughter, that it'self was enough
"Why doesn't matter, when you love somebody."

The drow squared off against Aella, his arms dangerously close to his weapons. "Love?" His eyes half closed, "How do you 'love' someone?"

"By being someone they can rely on." She was a little scetchy on the details of 'love' herself. She kept her ground, though she knew if something in him snapped, she could do nothing agaisnt it.
"By being the light in her darkness."

Malik was rather pleasent, cutting down anything that wasn't one of them while making the way over to teh front doors. heads, arms, hearts, ribs..they kind of just got scattered around haphazardly, before walking through the front doors.
"Well. you are useful, I'll give you that. I'll have to learn that darkness teleportation trick. So. you know which direction leads to the downstairs, or do we just pick one and slaughter everything?"
Onyx growled slightly. but he knew that the staff had it's limitations. and that where she was most likely to go. and damned if he was going to just sit by this time. So out the door, leaving a note for whom it may concern, and into the air. he was going to find the ship, if it moved, and he was going to get answers now, not waiting until alls said and done. Oh and send one of those little wisps to Moon to request his presence and let him follow it back to him.

The prince opened his eyes larger, "Do you really think I understand light?" He was not angry, he was not happy, he was pretty vile looking covered in blood, but there was no malice looming from him at that point. Pure confusion. "Do you 'love'?"
Jarlaxle laughed, "I can't teleport." He pointed behind him, "Nothing moving in here, they all went outside to play." On this level at least. "I'll lock the door behind us, you guys should scury along."

The floor caved way under their feet, dropping them to the level below. It was pitch black without glowing mosses to light the way, it was damp, and it was putrid.
"You're not supposed to understand it. Your head unerstands things, but it can't comprehend what the heart producces."
"I do."

Seemed Kieran had made it his own personal mission to watch over the women, whether they needed it or not, making sure both Piper and Zahara were in the place and moving on, again taking up his own position towards the back of the group. Well this was interesting now wasn't it? Dark too. Reaching up under his surcoat he pulled out his little sunspot holder, flicking it open slightly as he had lifted it to his eyes, making gold catch. Then a tap to Piper's shoulder, handing it over to her as well.
A look back at hte tap on her shoulder, only to see him passing along the little device. Which she took with a nod and then repeated his actions, although a little less smoothly still not used to doing it too much, before handing the device back to him. For a moment she rubbed a hand across her eyes, letting the new style of vision sink in. Oh yeah, this place looked wonderful.

The ship wasn't concealed, it probaly wouldn't be too hard to find. But in the cabin, the blood soaked leader looked at his minion and could feel... blank. "Do I love?" He seemed to vaguely aware that he was talking to Aella.
Jarlaxle Closed the door once everyone was in, and redid the lock much quciker than he had undid them. ONce the lockes were in place, he took out his wand, and pointed it at few key locations, and fused the metal, more or e less turning the doorr into an extension of the wall. "Look, I stopped an army by myself." How sarcastic did he really need to be.
