Swimming is fine as long as the water doesn't come above my collar bone. P: It's not that I'm afraid of water or can't stay afloat, I just tend to flail a lot. ^^'

I don't like the feeling of "Oh god, there's a shark in here somewhere I just know it..." I saw Jaws at an early age, and now I subconsciously think that any swimming pool that goes down to six feet has a shark waiting at the other end. That's why I never swim alone, either, 'cause then if there is a shark I can push them towards it and give myself more time to get away while the shark is feasting on their entrails. P: *is slightly uncaring when it comes to sharks*

Can't. We only have one public pool in our whole town and one of my ex-boyfriends is a volunteer lifeguard. >-> It's not that it's terribly awkward, I just don't trust him to save my a** should something go wrong.

Hmmm, that could be an option... We do have a lot of hot lifeguards there. P: No, like, seriously, it's something in their genes in this town.

Ah. (= To be a lifeguard here, you just have to pass their swimming tests. But it doesn't pay, so... >->
