Ukaia clung to her tightly trying to force back the keening crys that wanted to escape. It felt so good and so bad to let this out. She felt so guilty for telling them. She haden't wanted anyone to know. So she'd hidden it. Found makeup in town hidden the shadows..
"i didn't want anyone to know. i didn't want to hurt him.. or you.. or anyone" she said shaking harder as she cried.
"I dont' want to be a burdon.. to be a bother.. but it's so.. so cold.. being alone"s he whispered soflty sniffling more
"And.. and i'm sorry.. i wasn't.. not.. i mean you were busy.. and i'm "s he siad suddnely pulling back from lilly looking up at her. Wide eyes.. crimson.. showing the pain and hurt she was still holding back.. the desperation not to be a bother a burdon.. the hunger for an owner and the warmth of vincent beside her.. She woudlnt' speak of it though. She'd said far to much
"i.. i didn't mean to" she said in a small voice..
"i mean.. b.. bother you.. this much"

"You're not a burden." Lily told her softly, meeting her eyes squarely. "And you're not a bother. The people here love you, Ukaia. You aren't bothering us when you say that you're hurt..." Carefully, she hugged the other woman again, then looked to Arlen. "Here... you two sleep together tonight. I'm going to take care of the lizard." With that, and a kiss to Ukaia's cheek, Lily gently pulled away, then went to the other man, sitting on top of him, hands on his temples. Rather shortly, a soft green glow surrounded her, and she was lost to the physical realm.

"Ukaia," Arlen said softly, shifting to a seat next to her now that her feet were healed completely. "You're not a burden to me, and I think everyone here feels the same way. I'd be happy to do whatever I can to help you. You just need to tell me what you want."

Ukaai nodded alittle bit feeling a little more assured. She looked at Arlen and then looked down guilty
"Are you angry at me?" she asked quietly to him. she had to know. if she'd ruined thins for him to night

Ukaia rubbed at her eyes trying to get the tears to stop

Arlen smiled softly and hugged Ukaia. "I'm not angry. I'm happy you're alright and sorry if I did anything that caused you to want to leave. You didn't mess up anything."

Ukai snifffled again as she hugged him tighter then shook her head and mumbled something

"Why wouldn't you want your memories?" Arlen asked confused, he could understand not wanting to remember some things, but as far as he could tell the things that happened to her before the muffin would be that kind of memory, not the ones after. "And you're one of the least selfish people I know."

She sniffled
"With out them i can sleep.. i can get more then a few minuits a night"
she said quietly
"I don't have to remember how good it feels for him to be aginst me.. I don't have to be next to somone " she loked at him..her old traning was kicking in.. she was hididng the hurt, afraid of showing it.
"When i don't remember.. it just.. means i can be who i was.. it's not scary.. not hard.. " she said quietly

"Well if he's not here," Arlen said avoiding looking at Vincent, which was hard since he was also trying to look at Lily. "You're free to sleep with me and Lily. I could even turn into a cat to make room for you. And sometimes what's hard is more than worth the effort."
