Malvolence still drawn, and watching them crawl overtop eachother. not paying too much mind that Zahara didn't seem to understand herself exactly how that barrier got up there or worked, but it was working.
"Piper dear..Kieran...you two wouldn't happen to brought anything that is say, firebearing or flammable, would you?"
Course, if a hand seemed to fidnt he top of that barrier, an arc of flame came off Malvolence to sear those fingers off, and without teh ability to grip, toose the unfortunate thing back down into the pile.

Jarlaxle pushed the front door open from the inside, "Coming?" He had a very calm look on his face, as though he had done nothing at all. The other side of the door showed that the barracades had been removed, and readied for re-use. Not a soul or less was arround.
Celeste stood on the bow of the ship, and sent the signal to Aella. The code was 'retreat'. The elf sighed, they really should have made a better messaging system.

"Good time in the country. Times like these you can see the difference, can't you?" A little musing, even if she didn't want to. But a look to Malik at his calling of her name. "I have wooden arrows on me today." Those were flammable, and well if magic worked in this place she could produce fire as well. "But isn't fire dangerous around poisonous gases?" Then again, could be a different atmosphere inside the castle itself.
"I have a sunspot holder on me. Beam can be produced and magnified to start fire, but other than the clothes on my back, I don't have anything else." A little casual shrug at the passed information before he looked over at Jarlaxle's beckoning. "Well...you drow do have your ways now don't you. Into the lion's den, we the brave wander then, yes?"

Right hand had a small black stone clipped to his label, and he was speaking into it.
"They are already inside the front gates." he did not sound very phased by this. "We need as many souless and undead as we can let out. Might as well, we have too many to count now anyway."
He pounced a light blue glowing rod in his hands. "Save the dead drow for later."
Aella got the signal, just as Onyx found her in the hall way. "Dammit." She picked up her staff so that the bells ringed a bit. "Sorry Onyx, I have to go...I'll explain later." Because she didn't know exactly what was going on herself.
The staff whisked her away, and about three seconds later she was back on the ship.

Zahara blinked for a moment as Jarlaxle appeared in the doorway and suddenly things were quiet. She didn't like quiet...meant something was going to happen that she wouldn't be too fond of. "Let's go then." Stupid drow, of course it had all been part of his damn plan. She rolled her eyes at Malik and motioned, nodding to Kieran. "Indeed we do." Heading forward, daggers drawn.

Celeste looked at Aella, and frowned softly. "Your captain is here." Was her greeting, "He was worried about you, running off like that." Suddenly, she chuckled, and then laughed. It was all she really could do now.

She blinked. "Running off? Worried?" She wondered about that, but was the laughing really neccessary?
"well, where is he? What does he want?"

The elf calmed down after a moment, "You don't get it, do you?" She giggled a little bit, before cotinuing speaking, "He's in the cabbin."
Elric walked over to them, he looked at Celeste and sombrely mentioned, "Cedric is in the area." Which of course, shut her up.

"I might have, but maybe I didn't find it funny." But enough off that. Off to the cabin she went, and knocked on the door with her staff. "'Llo?"

The door opened a crack, and the blood covered face of Tarathiel gazed out. "Welcome back." His voice was not empty, but the emotion found within it could either be extremely vicious or kind. He opened the door enough to let Aella enter, and stepped away from the entrance.

She cleared her throat behind a hand. "Thank you." She stepped inside, turned to look at Tarathiel. Then she raised and eyebrow. "You don't even know that your covered in blood, do you?"

A little taken abck by that comment, she decided not to speak out of turn from here on. Taratheil was either in a relaly bad mood, or a really good mood...and not being able to tell was scary. "No. I do not know."

"I..um...what?" She was rather confused and a little frightened at this point. Tarathiel was prone to being extremely honest, but to express such a thing was odd.
