Tisha the Jackle Well, form what I see it's lack of effort because it's like people arn't even trying to make topics. Well, discussion topics and funny things and stuff. I know theirs not a lot to talk about, but theirs more than THIS I don't know anything interesting to talk about. I'm not funny when I try to be. I fail at starting a conversation. My current interests are Harvest Moon, Vocaloid, and Noblesse, but I don't think anyone share my love for these things. There's Gaia company's direction and certain themed items I'm interested in, but they're kinda one of them 2cents sort of posts. xD

When I was in a guild, it was for pokemon. Well your thinking pokemon, well DUH its gonna get a lot of posts. Its a big topic. Well it did. Now heres its problem that I just realized were making from the start. When the guild was popular, getting hundreds of posts a week easy, everyone was lax and carefree, and actulay, not all the discussions were about pokemon. In the main fourm their was a mix, and some places dedicated to nothing pokemon related. we had non pokemon and pokemon rps. It was a mix between pokemon and other things. whatever things. Then the guild owner became more strict, wanting every thing to focus on pokemon, and so quickly it made your heart drop, we had like, what, 6 posts a week? Now we have NO posts a week. The guild is entirely dead. Perhaps this guild is a bit too uptight. If everyone was free to talk about other things too and get opinions, and finding it ok to do so, wed get a lot more posts, and build a stronger community, and probobly could stick to our theme. Just throwing this out there.

Just throwing this out there. I thought the reason we didn't get as much activity is because our guild became more strict in terms of organization (and a lack of figurehead mascot, Loyal). I'll admit though, the events we had in the past are too focused on Pokemon at times (RP for our case), but what's the point of hosting an event if it's not going to be based off of what the guild was meant for, Pokemon guild? Anyway, we still got our off-topic subforum and this thread to talk about anything we want to, but no one outside of regulars seem to come in and post in them. If non-regulars do make a post, it's about the Ringmaster and crew. Now I think about it, maybe this chatting thread might be a problem. It is pretty much a catch-all sort of thread.

This is going to sound like a bad thing for the Captain to say, but just hear me out:
Is there really that much of a problem with our small guild size?
Seriously? I mean, I'm still up for expanding the theme of the guild to incorporate more of the Gaia canon, but I never saw the problem with our close-knit group. We might be small, but damnit we have a good laugh and some good friendships come out of this, and I think that if we were a big popular guild with lots of people, things just wouldn't be the same.
But that's just what I think.

I think the size we do have now is a wee bit small. I'd prefer if we had it to the point where we get about 30 people posting in the guild on a week to week basis. Say for example... 5 of them will post every day (or every other day), 10 people would post a few times a week, and the last 15 will post at least once within a week or two. And I do agree, big (and active) guilds isn't my type of a guild. They're the type for me to just lurk in.

Man I had to clear out like... EVERYTHING for the carpet cleaners. xD It looked like we were robbed. Holy crap.
&& I kind of agree with the small guild thing. But yeah, I personally think the guild is kinda small considering we go days at a time where no one is on except like... one person.
It gets lonely... D: Even just like... 4 more active people would be fine with me. xD

I literally have inspiration for RPs 24/7, I just need someone replying to my posts every now and then, and I'm good XD
Back on the topic of making this guild bigger, I'm fine with a small guild too. I'm not so sure I'd want to be part of an all Gaia storyline guild. I'm already sort of part of something like that, so it wouldn't be someting I'd enjoy, but that's just me.
I think we're just inactive because everyone is so busy. That's what life does. XD

Competitions are done. We got 19th out of 43, and almost was able to sub in for the semi-finals. biggrin
Though, now I'm tired as ******** what else do we need done?

Was going to drop a comment before I head to church and shopping and all that for today, but I got interested in the Harry Potter wand quiz. The result kinda surprised me on how close it is to my OC's profile, with exception of it doing well in both "attack" and defense. xD  As for the guild thing, I would like for the guild to include other characters made by Fayren, such as the ones from Checkmate EI. I also have a thing with the Hidden Ace EI as well. You know, those things that deals with cards and board games are pretty my kind of thing. 19th out of 43, eh? That's pretty cool, especially almost getting into semi-finals. :0
