Ah, the memories. I love them so..
But the more I think about it..
Why is the game called ' Super Smash Brothers '
I can see they might be capitalizing on the success of the Mario games, and that Luigi is in it.. but.. theres gotta be more of a reason than that.
That is a good question, I have wanted to know that as well. Meh it sounds better than Super Smash Nintendo Characters. I don't know what else to call it >.< Super Smash Distant Cousins

Besides, Master and Crazy Hands are brothers and they're sponsoring the tournament, so...>.>

So I was just listening to all the music samples on the website and noticed this when reading the MGS4 Love theme's update: Site Oh, of course this song will be played on a stage with a Metal Gear Solid motif. So you can look forward to that, too. Notice how he said "a" and not "the", and that's not something that is easily messed up in translation.

I know Japanese isn't the same language, but if they have half decent translators doing it, it could very well be right. Why not, after all. Most franchises in Melee got more than one stage, and the third party ones are going to be given lots of attention.

You make good points there, I think it would be a little dissapointing to have a single Metal Gear stage. And I don't think they translate the site lightly, considering how much attention is put to it. It can't be just a grammatical error. I think you're on to something.
